Broken and Updated Sims 4 Mods and CC: patch 1.122, March 17, 2026 and hotfixes
About This Thread This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game update 1.122, March 17, 2026, and the March 18 and March 23 hotfixes, or declared unsupported by their creators. If you have them, please update. If you still have them after that, it's possible that there are other causes. Please do a vanilla test. Game won't open with mods/CC
Game loads completely fine without mods and cc, when there's anything in my mods folder after I press play the EA screen closes and nothing else happens. I have to close both applications from task manager but they are only ever in background processes. I also got a pop up saying my graphics card isn't recognized, I've updated drivers and completely uninstalled and reinstalled my game multiple times... Any suggestions?
Gallery items not loading
I am trying to access the gallery but nothing seems to be loading. I’ve tried restarting the game, uninstalling and reinstalling, lots of the tips and tricks the internet has said: checking/updating/removing mods and cc that are broken Deleting local thumbcache Deleting cache through the ea pc app repairing my game through the ea pc app It just sits on this screen and I don’t know how to fix it. Can someone help me? I’m pretty new to the gallery etc. I don’t use it much but would like to learn more, which isn’t helpful if I can’t access it.

Hello all, i have spent a few hours now trying to fix my game after recent events. I feel like I have tried almost everything, and having come from a game that was working before the automatic update, it is a little frustrating to say the least. I currently get the game to launch, get past the logo screen, past the blue background and plumbob screen and then we get a black screen with the Sims cursor and music playing ( no text ) I have tried the following checking/updating/removing mods and cc that are broken Deleting local thumbcache Deleting cache through the ea pc app repairing my game through the ea pc app Any ideas, please?Stuck on plumbob screen
I was playing the game totally fine last night - no issues. I went in today and now am stuck on the loading screen. It plays the sound as if it has loaded and is going to enter the game, but instead it just stays on the loading screen. I do play with mods and CC, but was playing less than 12 hours ago without a problem. I deleted the localcache and that didn’t help. I restarted my computer and the game multiple times and this hasn’t helped. Same issue each time - unless there was some update that I didn’t see happen between last night and today I am totally lost on what could be wrong since the game loaded yesterday night without error - help!!
