Child Sim has a gig?
I had a UI pop up that my sim Tater Sprout (A child) needed to select a gig for her job. The Dream Home decorator gig from the Dream Home Decorator Pack. I have not touched anything with the UI as of yet. I don't think it will be a problem, I assume that if I hit the X on the pop up nothing will happen. As of now I use curse forge for all my mods and there all up to date as of today 9/22/2025. I have quite a bit of build buy and cas CC. My only script mod currently is MCC by deaderpool_mcc. I am currently on gen 4 of a 10 legacy challenge I don't know if it has to do with my mods or the length of which my save has been in. Tater did just get home from school so I am not sure if that caused the pop up. It's not like she advanced as she's only a B grade student. Update: I hit the X on the UI and it has done nothing. I just am very confused as to how it happened and if it happened to anyone else. Its not major by any means im just not sure if I'll experience anything else like it in the future.
My moods are disabled after update!
I tried everything, I cleared the caches, I deleted my mods, I made sure the resource.cfg file is in the Mods folder. I repaired my game. I even decided to give up on all my mods and just download new ones. But even after doing all this, when I download a new and updated CC or mod, it still doesn’t work. I also made sure it’s enabled under Game Options → Other. Please help! Am I not going to be able to play with mods anymore?
Build Mode
Is anyone else experiencing a glitch in build mode when bulldozing & it not being able to as there's an object/item that "can't be deleted"? I've taken out all mods/cc still there, I've done a complete new save guess what? Still happening. This is after the update today or yesterday can't remember which day I updated, I've also tried repairing game as well still happening.

Hey everyone. 😊 Since this year marks my 40th birthday ( 🤯 ) I've been feeling rather nostalgic...missing my younger days in what I would call the greatest decade ever: the 1990's. 💙💚💛 Some of the best years of my life were in the 90's (apart from meeting the love of my life in 2006) and I wanna keep some of the best of the 1990's (as well as early 2000's - I'll allow it 👍🏻) alive in our Sims 3 games. But NOT ENOUGH! 😜 I know there's plenty of y'all on here that share my love of the 90's, so if you have or happen upon any kind of cc out there that's 1990's (early 2000's) related - hairstyles, clothing, furniture, make-up styles (outlined lips anyone? 😛) - please share it on here. Sims obsessively use objects if they're placed anywhere in the home
I looked through the compiled list of bugs and didnt see this on there, so if i missed it and it's on there, oops! Anyway, I'm so tired of having to delete every single computer in the house simply because it's allll my sims want to do. It's the same issue with having a bar on the lot. I know that was "fixed" in an update a while ago at this point but it's STILL an issue for me, it never stopped being an issue. My main issue is the computers, but the bars is also still an issue, my sims make themselves alcoholics. 43+ GB of CC not reading in Mods folder anymore
I have been a long-time simmer and I took a break from playing back in November 2024 to now. I updated the game with the recent update and went in, re-enabled Mods & CC, but the game is no longer recognizing my CC files (the resource.cfg file is also there). The pathway is correct and has not changed. I have done everything I can think of to try to fix this, but I am at a complete loss here :( I have: Repaired the game Clean uninstalled and reinstalled the game removed the localthumbcache file made sure my game and folders were not connected to OneDrive Checked my antivirus to see if anything were interfering Downloaded NEW recently made CC and added that to the folder (removed all of my other CC from the folder as well when testing this) Downloaded a mod manager to check for broken/outdated CC. I also used the mod manager to make sure the CC was activated Removed Mods folder and allowing the game to make a new one Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am really upset about this; I have been playing since the game came out and have spent a long time amassing this CC :( Thank you in advance!
Welcome Wagon not taking place
For some reason I didn't get any "Welcome Wagon" anymore even with a new save file created (I try to see if it was just one save, but not). I don't have all the packs of The Sims 4 and yes, I do use some mods but I didn't think that it has something to do it because even when I play on Playstation, I didn't have "Welcome Wagon" either. Help With This Last Crash File?
So I recently updated to the latest patch and updated all of my mods & cc as well. I was having some issues before with broken mods, but seem to have fixed it all. But now, I can't play my household without crashing on load in? I'm not sure why this is happening, but I'm really confused and could use some help
I can't interact with my infants after the new update
I have figured out how to get my game to load in with every mod updated, however when I go into my family lot with my infants on their play mat it will not let me fix their needs or let alone pick them up. I have tried to repair my game to se if it helps but it didn't work. I also got a message saying that there were no adult sims around when the two parents were there. Please help.
