sims 4 wont start with any mods
So my game works perfectly fine with out any mods, but as soon as I put literally 1 file, it doesn't work. I tried downloading a brand new cc and it still does not work. I recently had a problem with this, but somehow fixed it, didn't touch it, went to play and realised my mods just disappeared from my sims 4 folder? and now every time I try to add any, it does not work. Computer and External Drive
Any ideas????????????? I've been playing my game on an external drive. I recently had an issue with my iCloud was seen by Apple. We ended up turning it off. I go to play, plug in my drive, and nothing was loaded in the game however, all the information is still on the drive. I was able to see that I have another electronics arts folder. When I looked in there, everything was empty. I moved my mods and saves in that folder, then everything was working again. So now it only recognizes my saves and mods on the computer and not the drive how it was originally. I have repaired the game multiple times. I have took out the mods and placed them back I made sure the installer location on the EA app has my external listed I've run out of ideas. I hope this made sense. Basically, I have the game in two locations, but I only want it to recognize one.
Sims 4 Graphics Glitching
My game has been glitching like this for over 5 months, I have repaired and uninstalled my sims game numerous times, I have removed all mods and this still would keep happening. I have also tried to reset/repair my disk and it still is keeps on glitching. Are there any other steps I can take to fix this problem or am I cursed :((((((( (macOS catalina version 10.15.7)Mods won't show in game!
I last played Sims 4 on 11th May with my 5 gen family as normal. I opened Sims to play some more yesterday and my save was missing. I closed the game and reopened but my save sill did not load. Eventually, I accepted that I will just have to start a new save - not ideal as I loved my save but it is what it is. I also noticed that my mods weren't showing on startup like usual, and they weren't showing in CAS. I thought it was the way my game was saved on my hard drive so I removed it, uninstalled the game, reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled the game on it. Now when I have opened the game today, my mods still aren't showing in game but they are all in the correct folder like they were before this happened. I can't find anything online of this happening and I have no idea how to fix it! I'm upset that my game has reset itself but if I can get my mods to work, then I can create another save. Any help or tips is hugely appreciated :)
mods and cc content doesn't work after latest update :(
has anyone experienced this? I have reset the custom content settings in game and restarted it. Nothing shows up in the mods list! and all the cc content is gone. The files are in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Please let me know :(
CC disappeared immediately after downloading and moving into "content folder"
I just downloaded sims on my new macbook yesterday, and spent hours today downloading new custom content for it. I downloaded probably 400+ files. I assumed they went into the "content" folder, and moved all of the files there. Then opened the game, and none of it was there despite cc and mods enabled. When I opened up finder all of it was gone. Can anyone help me with this? It's no longer in my downloads because I moved it all into the content folder. I am hoping there is some way I don't have to go back through and spend hours downloading it all again. Thanks!!My CC disappears after updates
I know the topic has been brought up too many times. The game updated by itself, so I didn't have the chance to move my CC and mods to another file first. I tried to do the old tricks (repair the game, allow and unallow the CC&mods in the game, restarted the game, restarted my mac), and it still won't work. Help please. I am desperate.
