Let Us Control Teammate Strategy + Smarter AI for F1 26 Career Mode
To elevate realism in My Team Career Mode, we need the ability to control our teammate's race strategy with options to adjust it mid-race based on evolving conditions, just like real teams do. Currently, teammates are frustratingly slow (especially from F2), and we have no say in their race decisions, which breaks immersion. Additionally, the AI is overly passive and one-dimensional: fast on straights but weak in corners, always leaving space and too easy to exploit. AI difficulty should be balanced, not just based on straight-line speed. For elite players (e.g., F1 Esports drivers), there should be an option for AI up to 120 to allow meaningful competition. These changes will help make F1 26 more dynamic, challenging, and true to the sport.7Views0likes0CommentsMake F1 26 More Realistic with Complete Car Damage
Hi EA Sports F1 Team, Please add fully realistic car damage in F1 26. Not just damaged wheels or a broken wing — I want the entire car to distort and be damaged in all areas after crashes. Partial damage feels boring and unrealistic. Full damage would make races more immersive and challenging. Thanks! Hi EA Sports F1 Team, Please add realistic mechanical failures to F1 26, like: Engine overheating Gearbox issues ERS or DRS malfunctions Suspension or hydraulic problems These should depend on car setup, driving style, and race conditions. It would make races more unpredictable, immersive, and exciting — just like real F1. Thanks! [SuperUser Edit] - Removed excessive spacing to make post easier to read.23Views0likes0CommentsF1 26
Hi EA Sports F1 Team and Community, Please add customizable race rules for F1 26 with options like: Ultra Light: Few penalties, soft or no damage for casual fun. Strict: Penalties close to real FIA rules, moderate damage. Realistic: Full FIA penalties, instant warnings for small track cuts, full car damage that can completely destroy the entire car—not just wheels or wings. Also, improve driver faces and expressions for more realism. Add a free play mode where players choose rules, weather, damage, and settings like FC 26. --- Why? Gives players control over their experience. Increases immersion and fairness. Encourages community creativity. --- If you want this, please like and comment! Thanks! My Logitech G923 worked great on PS4 with F122 until today. Now the force feedback drops as soon as I start the game. There was a massive PS4 update last week for Gran Turismo 7 (which works fine) so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Anyone else suffering the same issue? Or knows a workaround….other than buying a PS5!23Views0likes0Comments[Suggestion] Icons I want to see in F1 25
Hi guys, with F1 25 growing near, it's time for speculations and suggestions. And this one is immediately an interesting one. It's about the My Team Icons, which the player can hire to their team. Personally, I have a couple of wishes regarding Icons. These include former F2 champions, as well as fan favorites, champions and legends. These are: Nyck de Vries (F2 Icon): Not the youngest driver anymore, and by that right not really the best, but just for history completion and because we never got Nyck de Vries back in F1 23, it's only fair to bring him back to an F1 game. I just hope he's not that garbage pace-wise like in F1 23. Felipe Drugovich (F2 Icon): Nobody talks about the 2022 F2 champion Felipe Drugovich, a talented and still decently young driver with high potential. He deserves a chance with a team, even if it has to be a new one. From F1 Manager, I know that Felipe has the stuff to keep up with the other drivers, but I wouldn't say he's on par with say Lewis Hamilton. Daniel Ricciardo (Bronze): We need the Honey Badger back in the grid. Danny Ric is a funny guy and still a great driver on top of it, despite his pretty high age. Having him as a teammate is always an adventure, and I'm pretty sure that a few of us would like to make him a champion. Kimi Raikkonen (Silver): The Iceman himself is an Icon that I asked for plenty of times, and EA SPORTS always meet this suggestion with deaf ears. Sure, Kimi was the oldest driver in the grid, and he deserves his retirement, but very few had the chance to have him as a teammate since he's usually the first one to retire. We need him back. Sebastian Vettel (Gold): Do I need to say more? Four time world champion, still a fine driver, and an ambitious man. If that's no champion material, then I don't know what is. Could also be my German bias saying that, but Nico Hulkenberg is not that great, and Sebastian Vettel sure is a big name that you want to have in your team at least once. If these five Icons make their way to F1 25, then I will gladly pair two of them together. They all deserve a drive in F1, whether they are former F2 champions or retired drivers that still have what it takes to win. Let's hope for the best. - Nico138Views0likes0CommentsF1 25 Not on EA Play Pro?
As you may already know previous iterations of F1 games had always been day 1 for EA Play Pro subscribers however since Split Fiction was not enable for EA Play Pro subscribers it is fathomable to doubt if F1 25 will make it to EA Play Pro subscribers day 1 ? Right now on EA APP, when you browse games, it is not tagged as "EA PLAY PRO" which increases my doubts because most of the time, maybe all the time, not sure about it, whenever a game is posted on store, EA PLAY PRO tag comes along with it if it's going to be released day 1 on Ea Play Pro. Anybody know anything about this ? I think it'll be very disappointing if EA does not provide the game for Pro subscribers day 1. Thoughts and comments please.Solved456Views1like4CommentsF1 Franchise: a culture of minimal effort
I think, for my part, that's the end of my story with this saga that I've been playing since 2009. After seeing the first trailer I'm speechless, how can you expect people to buy a game every year that offers more and more laughable content? Let's go step by step. This year's incredible new features are: - Circuits in the opposite direction: the first example of the minimum effort, a nonsense that in 2 weeks will become unfunny, and I doubt that all the circuits will be able to be played in this way. - Braking Point 3: you keep insisting on a time consuming game mode (for you) that rarely anyone will play more than once. Bloody hell, I want to race cars, not a goddamn story with a repetitive and exaggerated narrative, that's what the F1 movie is for. - F3 Drivers... as icons: this is the last straw, for once you decide to include F3 and it will be to just sign some people in My Team mode. I have no more words to define this. Jesus Christ, you're not some programming student living on Doritos and cans of Monster Energy in the basement of his house trying to make a game, you're a MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY WITH THE LICENSE OF A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR SPORT. Is it so hard to have common sense? Fans spend all year begging for a little love in the game and you listen to absolutely no one. Is it so difficult to include F3 especially in a year when they have a new chassis (let alone F1 Academy)? Is it so difficult to create a real F1 ladder with these categories? Is it so hard to release F2 at the same time as the game and not a crappy update in November? Is it so difficult just to forget about reverse circuits and update many of the outdated ones? Is it so difficult, since you will never include old tracks, to include alternative tracks of some existing ones (Barein, Spain, COTA, Suzuka, Shanghai, Jeddah, Silverstone, Monza, Qatar...)? Is it so difficult to include free customisation for the cars? Is it so difficult that this game is created by people who would buy their own product? I just can't take it anymore, year after year I see that my favourite saga is slowly dying and has no signs of reviving until the company changes. I don't wish you guys to go bankrupt, but I do wish that your sales are so low that you actually take it seriously for one **bleep** year. Hopefully people will understand that not giving money for a mediocre product is better in the long term. For God's sake, don't pretend to sell this as a new game, this is F1 24.5 (or even F1 22 v4) By the way, here's a sneak preview of F1 26 improvements: Braking Point 4, a new handling system, and the possibility to race with 22 cars on the grid instead of 20, WOW!!!!!! Sorry for so much text, but I can't live without expressing my dissatisfaction, even if nobody is going to read me. I give up.57Views3likes0Comments
