Skate. javelin anticheat blocking DS4 Windows

Hello,

I gained access to the Skate. pre alpha and tried to play. Since i do not have a Xbox controller, im forced to use my old PS4 controller (its old, but still works well on other games).

Whenever i start the game via the EA app with DS4 windows (ps4 controller emulation program) the Javelin anticheat detects this as virtual controller and will not let me play the game.

I tried adding the game to steam so i don't have to use DS4 windows, but then the game will not detect the controller.

I'm at a loss of what i could do to prevent this and am absolutly bummed out by the fact that the game will not work with a ps4 controller on windows for whatever reason?
