Views on new morale feature
Initial views I've received after a short time on the new PTE is that the new setting makes very little or no difference as the bases attacked by players are typically outside the range where the downing of morale of the forgotten bases is effective. At the start of this PTE the players I've discussed this with have been attacking bases 6-7 levels above their offense level. This setting maybe useful where there are no POI's on the world as it provides a boost that POI's typically would provide. Please add your own experience and comments to this thread.
50 Player Dream Team
Not sure if it's been posted before, but I think enough veterans are still around to have fun with this idea if not. Name your 50 player dream team. All egos aside, imagine cultural and language barriers do not exist, time to play is magically available; just the top 50 that you've seen play this game assuming no alts or intentional feeding are allowed, standardized script packs. (alts/feeding are viable strategies but are dictated more by time and funds in addition to skill). Leadership vs consistent play is up to you and how you build your team, assume PvP will happen against another "dream team" to win if that affects your choices. Feel free to do top 10,20,30 or however many you wish, ordering is not required either. CNC Rivals is a great game that has a stagnant meta. For 3 years the competitive meta has solidified around 4 core units [shockwave trooper/rhino, predator tank, slingshot] with little room for experimentation. The game desperately needs a balance patch to bring intrigue back. I have done a great deal of math and interaction analysis to come up with a set of changes. The following is the code changes required, ready for implementation. This is an easy way to bring some interest back. I cannot see myself playing again without some form of change. Can nobody tell me what you lose when share a hit on a base ?? I'm asking because I hit a lvl 58 base with my two accounts just to kill the defence. when I took account of what resources where un touched in the base these was about 12G of resources.
