Future Stars Issue
Hi Folks, In regards to Future Stars Academy , I noticed there was a Debut Contract to sign a player, I used this on a Silver Nico O'Reilly , Completed the objectives via Squad Battles but there wasn't much associated attribute boosts, no base playstyles, no position upgrades ... We're trying to complete the Squad Battles objectives, but some of us can't even do them because we're forced to play on at least World Class difficulty. Do you really think we have 3,000 squads just to grind objectives that don't even give decent rewards? You should lower it to Professional or higher. This was supposed to be the year that the curve slowed down. Here we are in February and if you're not running a full midfield of "Gullit Gang" players, what have you been doing? And can we even call it the Gullit Gang anymore? It used to be special to get all 80+ face stats. . . now we have it in October on some random midfielder. The game feels so fast because every players stats are so bloated already. As players get more PS its going to continue to get worse. This is just a theory of mine, but player aura. . .lets call it an area around their body in game that they can affect. As stats inflate, as PS+ (like Intercept) are on every player. . Bruiser. . etc... Their aura grows. I'm seeing players 2 meters away from me magically slam into my attacker and walk away with the ball with perfect touch. I'm seeing a midfield where if you pass a ball within 2 meters of a player, they will always intercept it. What this means is, they are winning tackles and intercepting balls that are so far out of their reach in reality because that aura is too big. This - I believe - is why we're going to hear more and more people complaining that random bounces, BS tackles, and that now more than ever the randomness is back. It's because the way the game engine works, it can't balance out these bloated stats and the animations/physics. If you're not playing tiki taka passing and just ping ponging the ball around, its very hard to create. Shooting. . .low driven and finesse are just way too OP. Keepers are worthless. The goals that go in from incredibly unrealistic angles are infuriating. I really think what we know as a Gold Base, next year, the overall stat should be in the 70s and 80s, but the underlying attributes need to start much lower to account for the weekly stat bloat from promotions. IMO - promotions don't need to always grow on each other. Each one doesn't have to up the ceiling for the stats higher. Promos need to be more creative and doing other things (exactly like they did this year with adding National chem, adding league chem, etc...). This continuous bloat ruins the game way too fast. Guys, this is getting seriously ridiculous, Idk WTH happened to EA?!! I was playing normally using my ps4 contoller on pc until few days ago, there is a complete intereference ( during the main menu when I press on R2 to open friends list and accept an invitation, instead it keeps vibrating and won't let me into the friends list unless I hold R1 and open the mp3 then close it and then I can open the friends list only once!!) and then in-game , I made a button configuration to make R2 make team contain in defence) in game it's like the button is stuck and sometimes the R1 button which I made it to sprint takes me to mp3!! I’m officially done with this game and I need to say everything while I still can. If EA actually cares about honest feedback from real players, this is it. Week 1 of this FC was amazing. The gameplay was smooth, responsive, and felt fair. It actually felt like the best FC version I’ve ever played. But from that point on, it has been downhill. Every update, patch, and tweak has ruined the game. Week after week it gets slower, heavier, and more scripted. The game doesn’t feel like it’s controlled by the player anymore. It feels like it controls itself. FUT Champions is the clearest example. Every year it’s the same story: no matter how I start, the game forces me into a specific outcome. This year proves it perfectly. I can start 7-0 or 5-5, it doesn’t matter. I ALWAYS end at 11 wins. Every single weekend. The game manipulates matches to keep players within that range, punishing anyone who might actually outperform it. That is not competitive. That is manipulation disguised as matchmaking. And what do we get for it? Rewards that are completely worthless. Most weeks I don’t even get a single walkout from 11-win packs. Grinding 15 sweaty, scripted matches just to open trash packs is insulting. It makes the entire mode pointless. The engine itself is terrible. Player movement is delayed, input is unresponsive, and animations override everything you try to do. Turning, dribbling, and defending all feel inconsistent. The game doesn’t feel like football anymore. It feels like random events happening and you hope to react in time. Skill doesn’t decide results, momentum swings and hidden mechanics do. And speaking of hidden mechanics, DDA or whatever invisible balancing system is in place ruins every competitive match. Passes slow down, players become heavy, your goalkeeper does random things, and suddenly your opponent is unstoppable. If you want fair gameplay, fix matchmaking. Don’t manipulate matches to stop someone from quitting. I’m convinced my account is shadow-banned or treated differently. Gameplay feels slower, packs are worse than what I see on streams, and match outcomes feel controlled. Tonight was the last straw. I spent 1 million coins on store packs before quitting and got absolutely nothing. Not a single good player. This is ridiculous. I’m done wasting time, energy, and money on a game that doesn’t reward effort or skill. EA, if you actually want this franchise to survive, here’s what needs to happen: change the engine or rebuild it, remove all hidden balancing systems, give players full control of their team, stop patching the game every week just to break it further, fix rewards so 11 wins actually feel worth it, and start listening to the players who actually play your game instead of ignoring us. I’m not writing this because I hate the game. I’m writing this because I actually cared about it. I used to love it. I wanted it to be competitive, fun, and rewarding. Right now, it’s just scripted, frustrating, and unfair. I’m done playing. I know this post will probably get deleted as soon as someone sees it. You can ban me or do whatever you want. I am starting this discussion to report a continuing issue in EA SPORTS FC 26 online matches. I have now been disconnected for the seventh time during an active match, not during matchmaking or loading screens. In every case, the match was terminated and I was automatically assigned a loss despite not quitting intentionally. My internet connection is stable and no disconnections occur in other online games or services. This issue happens only in FC26 and consistently during gameplay. At this point this can no longer be considered a rare or isolated incident. Repeated losses caused by factors outside player control undermine competitive integrity and make online play extremely frustrating. I want to know if the game updates are made by actual real people or if it is done by AI? The reason I ask is because I don't believe actual people have been involved. If actual people had made the changes and played the game, they would have had the common sense to realise the gameplay changes have made the game so much worse.
