Are there real people involved in making the updates?

I want to know if the game updates are made by actual real people or if it is done by AI?

The reason I ask is because I don't believe actual people have been involved. If actual people had made the changes and played the game, they would have had the common sense to realise the gameplay changes have made the game so much worse.

So maybe EA should be transparent about how the updates are being made.
