Post title update
My internet was out when i bought this game, it was playing pretty good, hits where realistic, shots per game was good. my internet came back on today and downloaded update, now its a hit fest, just like last year. nhl is not a game where over 30 big hits per game. They did this last year too, out of the box last years game played real good, 1st update screwed that up , like this year now. this game is not nhl hits. seams like each team playing the same after update. before update i could tell a difference between different teams. Ea, quit messing this game up and turning it to an unrealistic hit fest. just smh.The CFHL

… and the penalties are justified. I am sorry but these hits are indeed illegal and interference. While NHL doesn’t have specific rules regarding late hits and the length of time, Hockey Canada has something that addresses what a late hit is and I imagine it’s really similar or close to the NHLs rules. specifically the late hit part says you have to be within an arm and stick lengths away when the carrier releases the puck for the hit to be legal. I don’t doubt there are the one offs that are not fair but bad calls are made sometimes and I would much rather this than the prior. Skaters in game do not have the tools to brace for or reverse an oncoming check when they don’t have the puck. This will need a bit of an adjustment period but will make the game more competitive and fair.But some of you wanna say this isn’t a bug
The penalty for hitting right after the puck is passed needs to be addressed immediately!!! This is literally destroying gameplay & making the game not fun at all to play basically handing the game over to the other team some ppl will argue but you have a window to finish a check before it’s considered a “late hit” & this bug makes it where there is no window at all to finish a check please fix this!!!Online Versus Same Uniforms
I was playing online against the same team and EA Sports gave us the same uniforms. That was a fun game… There were posts about this that I remember either last year or from a previous year. To think it still exists is laughable. EA Sports. Your marketing of this game and the AI- Strategies is borderline fraudulent as you are tricking people through false marketing, portraying a product that simply doesnt play the way you advertise. Not even close. As such, the least you can do is fix basic stuff like this, but we are at least one year with this problem, if not more and it still exists. Congrats, you swindled another $100 out of me through lying marketing
Two WoC Questions/Issues
EA_Aljo I have two questions/issues I wanted to bring up. #1 I routinely run the game 6-8 ping in World of Chel games on North America East (NAE). When I was making a club, I realized NAE wasn’t an option. Yesterday during the course of the day, I didn’t have low ping once. Was NAE removed? I couldn’t get a game under 25-30 ping yesterday. #2 This is an issue I ran into last year and made a similar post about it. You cannot purchase all the equipment that’s available in the game in the World of Chel mode. For example, all Warrior brand equipment in create a player (or any other mode for that matter) is not available for purchase in the World of Chel store for coins. Frustrating when you want certain gloves, skates, or a stick and “it’s in the Game!” but not really every game mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
