🔧Maintenance: Dragon Age II – Temporary Downtime May 6, 2025🔧
Hey, folks Dragon Age II will be undergoing planned maintenance on May 6, so you might run into a few hiccups if you're launching the game that day. What to expect: The game’s system for checking for DLC content may cause errors during the downtime. You can still play the game offline, but you might see error messages or brief connection issues while the game tries to verify content. There’s no need to reinstall anything, and everything should return to normal once maintenance wraps up. Thanks for your patience while we take care of a few things behind the scenes. Update: Maintenance now completed. If you run into any issues with the game, please open a new thread and tag me! Thanks everyone.469Views2likes2CommentsDragon Age 2 won't boot up.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but I've been playing DA 2 for 20 hours total so far and the game was running pretty well, then all of a sudden during a cutscene the game crashes on me. I've tried to boot the game back up but it gives me the same response of "the game won't launch, there's an issue on our end that won't let the game launch". I've tried nearly everything, from uninstalling and reinstalling the game, to restarting the EA app, to repairing the files itself and I'm getting no luck. I've contacted support and they've said they'll report this to the team but I want to know if there's anyone else who's suffering the same issues and if they managed to find a way to fix this.EA Launcher canceling DA Game Launch
I was playing Dragon Age II when the game crashed. At, first I wasn’t too bothered as old games crash all the time, but now I’m concerned as the EA launcher won’t let the steam game launch initialize. I keep getting the error message that says “there seems to be a problem on our end” (EA Launch app) without specifying said problem. Now I’m just frustrated because I would like to play DA2 but I can’t even get into the game because of the launcher issues.Solved
