[PC] DA2 launching in background, black screen bug
Title explains it all. DA2 is unusable and keeps launching in the background. Occasionally it launches successfully but everything but the UI is completely black. That seems to indicate a driver problem, but dxdiag shows no issues as far as I can see. I have no idea if these errors are related or two separate issues, but the black screen bug started after I signed into my Bioware account from another one since I believed the launch issue might have sprung from a discrepancy between the email associated with the EA app account and the Bioware account used in game. The launching started working perfectly but it was obviously unplayable due to the black screen bug. I used local saves so I don't think it's a data loss issue, but starting a new game still gives a black screen even on the class select screen. I haven't changed any settings since that error, but now it's back to only launching in background. I've done full reinstalls, restarts, cleared cache, and ran as admin, but nothing changes and there's no way to consistently get the same error. I'm completely at a loss as to what's wrong with my game. Why are Dragon Age releases so broken on Deck?
I don't understand why Origins through Inquisition can't be re-released in a single, sensible, playable format like Mass Effect Legendary,* which works beautifully. Consistent connection to the Keep across the games, no broken links, with full Deck/Linux compatibility. Why is that difficult? Please, EA. I bought a Steam Deck because it was a cost-effective alternative to the full gaming PC I'll never be able to afford, and I pretty much just want to play Dragon Age, right now. Links in Origins are broken. Gamepad compatibility is rotten. Gamepad connection in Inquisition is non-existent (it ALMOST works with native Proton tools 😭). I've been fighting with it for weeks. I'm tired of experimenting with 3rd party stuff that doesn't work, and I'm admittedly more than a bit devastated. I just want these to be playable games. Please. * (Editing to say that I'm not asking for a remaster. We don't want or need it. I just want the games to be normally functional and playable. 🙏)Merging Accounts? Specifically for Dragon Age continuity
I played disc version of dragon age origins as a kid, then bought it on steam as a teen, then bought it AGAIN on origin APP, then forgot all that and bought 2 and inquisition on a DIFFERENT account. So I've got two different accounts, and no way to link them! I know the "dragon keep" I can build my own story but it's saving stories wrong when i play, and none of the DLC for DA 2 is even accessible when I try to play it. I remember spending hours trying to fix this a few years ago with EA on the phone and doing whatever BS they said, but it boiled down to, they're incompetent. Any ideas on using save files existing to start new games?Dragon Age Keep hasn't worked for me in years!
The last time I was able to use the keep was around September 2024.. Around October 2024, just before Veilguard came out, it stopped working with the "Oops An Error Has Occurred" message. At the time I assumed it was down for everyone again, but no, this seems to be an issue with my account at this point. I have tried everything, clearing cache, changing password, different browsers, different devices, VPNs, incognito, waiting.. everything. I can confirm that when creating a new account it works, it just does not work with my account.. An account that I've had for 10 years or longer, that has all my data within it. I tried contacting EA Support via the live agent chat, but they were completely, utterly useless. I don't know what to do anymore..102Views0likes0CommentsDragon Age Keep 500 error
So I have been wanting to use the keep to make sure i had the right file synched to my account when i got this error on my phone. I then went to my computer to try to see if it was the fault of my phone but nope there too. If anyone knows how to fix this or who to call to get it fix please let me know.Dragon Age inquisition PS3
Dragon Age Keep Not Importing Saves
Having issues with Dragon Age Keep. My games have not been importing previous world state. When I go to Dragon Age Keep I have my Xbox Series X linked to to it, but there's also a PC account linked to it (not sure if I linked it or not). Just wondering if this would be causing the issues with importing the previous world state & is there a way to delete the PC linked to Dragon Age Keep? TIA (cm edit - updated title for vis)Dragon Age Inquisition broken unless you play offline (Xbox Series X)
Title is self explanatory and others have this issue. If there's a permanent fix that lets me actually use the features. That would be dope. But honestly I just came here to cyberbully EA since those cowards removed every other avenue to contact them about bugs and issues. This game is 12 years old basically... Fix it! Veilguard was such a disaster that I KNOW you lazy louts and bozos have the time. Your forums,Reddit and pretty much every single aspect of the Online realm is having this issue. And has been for YEARS. So I'm just genuinely curious as to how many Mentally Handicapped individuals are employed over at EA and why you cannot just simply port this shiznit to new servers and let us get back to playing a game that we PAID FOR without 69 and a half extra **bleep** steps. This is honestly ridiculous. Do better or just give the **bleep** IP over to an actual competent studio if such a thing even exists anymore. And I know without a doubt it's a "server handshake" issue. I've ran every step, checked every possible avenue before coming here to engage in Cyber bullying a development studio. So seriously, Fix the **bleep** game and fire the apparent overwhelming amount of idiots at Bioware..157Views0likes0CommentsDragon age keep broken again
Hello, pretty much self explanatory: I keep getting the ''oops, an error occurred!'' popup when loading onto Dragon Age Keep, no matter what tab I click on. This seems to happen a lot. Any idea how to fix it? I'm assuming it's something on their side and not mine, though - due to the number of times this seems to happen. I've tried multiple browsers, same issue.
