Rushing Record Breaker/Passing Record Breaker Trophies
Dear staff at EA: I am reaching out not just as a voice for myself, but as a voice for all the trophy hunters out here. We are desperately waiting for you to fix these glitched trophies. I have been a Madden supporter for many years. And I've enjoyed going back to college football and I also got back into Battlefield. You guys do make great games, and I've loved supporting your games. But this is getting to the point you are going to lose a chunk of your player base if you do not make these trophies attainable. Your attention to this game...these trophies, will affect not only my decision making on purchasing games in the future, but it will be the same for many others. If you are not willing to fix trophies for this game now, will it be like this in the future for a different game? There are two reasons I play games. 1) fun with my friends and 2) trophies. I strive for both, because I am proud of earning trophies and showing off my platinums. There are many others like me, and we love playing your games, but I am hoping you see our view on this and repair these broken trophies for us. I plead to you, as the voice for many other gamers, please fix these two trophies and make the platinum attainable. Please show us that you care for us trophy hunters and our reward to you for doing so will be continued support for more of your games.2026 and this is still happening
The big thing the past few years was psychic DB play was fixed. Something we had asked to be fixed for like 15 years straight. So what does EA do? U guys fix psychic DB's in man coverage but not zone. These defenders are whipping around making plays on the ball when they shouldn't even know it had been thrown. It's pathetic we are still asking for things like this to be fixed in 2026. All the money we spend on PS5/X-Box, these broken games, and pay money just to play the game online. FIX THE GAME how many times do we have to ask. Defenders shouldn't be making plays on the ball if there back is turned in zone coverage. The CB for the Colts is running full speed in zone with my WR. The ball is thrown and before it gets halfway to my WR the CB whips around and makes a play on the ball. He didn't even see the ball throw it's just his psychic powers I guess. Knowing EA I wouldn't be surprised if that was added as an X-factor trait, smh. Psychic DB's in zone coverage. Get REAL football guys to come and help u guys. And get some better programmer and game developers. No reason things like psychic DB, o-line not able to block a 3 man rush or even worse never know who to block, in 2026!!!Madden
Here are my issues with Madden that need to be addressed for the IMMEDIATE future Blocking - is atrocious to say the least. Inside zone & especially base the o-line pulling never leads up in the hole. I've seen o-lineman literally run off the field or block another d-lineman already being blocked. I've even seen them pull and block a CB already being blocked by a WR. Instead of picking up the defender they are supposed to block. How on earth are safeties and CB playing in sub packages shedding blocks better than linebackers? The impact block especially against sub package players is terrible. Those smaller players should be getting steam rolled. And let's not even get into pass blocking. People rush 3 defenders against 5-6 blockers and get better pressure on the QB like an all out blitz. 3 rushing down lineman is a conservative coverage defense that shouldn't get any pressure. The blocking needs to be reprogrammed from the ground up. I can't even use 12 personel or play action heavy offense because the blocking is so bad. Psychic DB - U finally got rid of psychic DB play against man coverage. But it's still happening against zone coverage and when the QB scrambles. I can throw a pass against zone and these DB's will be running full speed covering the WR. Once the ball is released from the QB's hands they will whip around full speed. Backs were turned they were not even looking at the QB. How on earth can they make a play on the ball when they shouldn't even know it's been thrown? Unrealistic X-factor abilities - Franchise Mode we don't want unrealistic abilities like Bazooka, Film Study, Omaha, Truzz, etc These are unrealistic and should stay in Ultimate Team only. And if u do have these abilities make them harder to get. Omaha should be attained at 3 straight passes over 25 yards in the air. Make it tough for these abilities to trigger. User control/Cpu control - This game makes u jump when I don't want to. My WR should jump when I press the button to make him jump. To many animations make my player jump on routine catches where He doesn't need to. And he drops the ball because catch in traffic has always been terrible in these games. Button change - The swat and interception buttons on defense should be 2 different buttons. To many times I get an animation swatting the ball whenI have a wide open interception. L1/L2 on defense should be swat and triangle interception just like the old days. Let the users decide the outcome of these games. Pursuit - It's ridiculously horrible. Linebackers just run through holes blindly no read & react. WR catch the ball and the DB chasing him gets that weird animation where he runs underneath the ball carrier. Alignment - How many times do players run into each other? I try to run man coverage and my DB is way off to the side giving the WR an inside or outside release. Half of my time is spent fixing alignment on defense but then my opponent snaps the ball. Pass trajectory is still terrible no matter the settings. The ball is still too low and even on deep passes the ball is always short. It only goes over the CB when u high point the ball. And when u do that the ball goes over the WR head. Or u get an animation where the WR jumps and once the DB touches him, the WR drops the ball. This is infuriating. This is how QB's should look. Look at the trajectory of the ball, look at how the QB is able to move around in the pocket. The QB actually has a pocket and the o-line actually blocks for him. Look at the speed of the ball being passed. They don't need Gunslinger or Pass Lead Elite to throw the ball with zip on it. The current state of Madden on PC is unacceptable for a full-price AAA release. Frame timing is inconsistent. Stutter is common. Performance scaling is poor. This affects both AMD and NVIDIA systems. We paid the same price as console players, yet the PC version feels like a secondary port instead of a properly developed platform. **Frame Timing and Engine Issues** Even when locked at 60 FPS, the game does not feel smooth due to inconsistent frame pacing. This is not a hardware issue — it is an engine-level optimization problem. Madden is still running on a heavily modified Frostbite foundation that dates back to 2017-era architecture. PC hardware in 2026 is dramatically different. The engine needs modern PC optimization, not minimal adjustments. Framerate cap and refresh rate (Hz) should be separate settings. Players should be able to: - Set custom FPS limits - Run unlocked framerates - Use proper VRR - Match refresh rate independently These are standard PC features. **DLSS, FSR and Frame Generation Are Missing** Modern PC titles integrate: - NVIDIA DLSS upscaling - AMD FSR upscaling - Frame Generation (DLSS 3 / FSR 3) These technologies significantly improve smoothness and performance on modern GPUs. Madden has none of these natively implemented. Frame Generation in particular would dramatically improve smoothness for supported GPUs. There is no reason a modern sports title should lack these core PC technologies. **Driver Compatibility and Anti-Cheat Conflicts** AMD Adrenalin and NVIDIA Control Panel are official GPU tools used by millions of players. They are not cheats. They should not conflict with anti-cheat systems. Players should not feel like enabling normal driver features might cause instability or interference with EA Anti-Cheat. Driver tools and the engine should coexist properly. **Graphics Settings Are Too Limited** The graphics menu lacks proper granularity. PC players use ultrawide monitors, high refresh displays, and modern GPUs. There should be deeper control over: - Shadows - Post-processing - Lighting - Texture quality - V-Sync behavior - Frame limit behavior Telling players to disable visual feedback to reduce stutter is not a solution. That forces players to reduce gameplay clarity just to stabilize performance. **PC Is Not a Bonus Platform** There are tens of thousands of active Madden players on PC. The platform is growing. PC players are not asking for special treatment — we are asking for parity and proper optimization. This should be a fully supported PC release with: - Stable frame pacing - Engine-level optimization - DLSS and FSR upscaling - Frame Generation support - Modern graphics scalability - Proper framerate and refresh separation Right now, it feels like a port that receives minimal attention instead of a platform that is taken seriously. PC players deserve a modern, optimized experience — not an afterthought.Accessibility Settings Do Not Work Online and Need Major Improvements
The current accessibility implementation in Madden does not function properly in online modes and is extremely limited even when it does work. Issue #1 – Accessibility settings do not consistently apply in Franchise, Ranked, or other online modes. Colorblind filters may work in offline play, but in online environments they either do not apply at all or apply inconsistently. Accessibility settings should never disappear depending on game mode. If the setting exists in the main menu, it should apply universally across all modes. Competitive integrity should not override accessibility. Accessibility is not an advantage — it is a requirement for equal participation. When filters fail to apply in Ranked or Franchise, players are forced to compete at a visual disadvantage. That is not acceptable in a competitive environment. Issue #2 – The current colorblind filters are overly simplistic and ineffective. Even when the filters apply, they are global color shifts. They adjust the entire screen instead of targeting specific gameplay elements that actually create visibility problems. There is no ability to control: - Reticle color - Passing route colors - User indicator colors - Catch indicators - UI highlight colors - Contrast levels for important gameplay elements Instead, players are given three preset options. Colorblindness is not one-size-fits-all. Two people with the same diagnosis may still require different contrast levels or color layouts. Common in-game problems include: - Yellow landing reticles blending directly into green turf - Red uniforms blending into darker stadium lighting - Blue on blue matchups lacking separation - White text becoming difficult to read depending on background - Certain team color combinations blending into the field entirely These are clarity and contrast problems. A simple global hue shift does not solve them. Battlefield provides a better model for accessibility. It allows players to manually select reticle colors, hit marker colors, and HUD element colors. That level of customization ensures players can choose what works for their specific vision rather than being forced into a preset that may not help. Madden should allow players to manually choose: - Reticle color - Route color - User indicator color - Catch indicator color High-contrast HUD mode SLIDERS FOR BRIGHTNESS CONTRAST AND THE DEFICIENCIES FOR EACH COLORBLIND TYPE…SOME PEOPLE HAVE COMBINATIONS……FULL ACCESSIBLITY IS NOT A PRIVILEGE IT IS A DEMAND This would not impact competitive balance because it only affects the local display. It simply ensures the player can clearly see what is already there. FC 24 also allows users to control which uniforms they see in order to prevent blending. Madden should allow local uniform overrides for visibility. Let players choose a high-contrast matchup locally so turf and jerseys do not visually merge. This would not change gameplay logic — only visual clarity. Accessibility should be consistent across EA titles. Some EA games provide advanced customization while others rely on minimal presets. Players with color deficiencies deserve the same level of attention across all franchises. Accessibility is about equal access to gameplay clarity. Is there anyway you can upgrade superstar mode and franchise mode in madden 27? Superstar mode we shouldn't need online to play it.. you dont need it to play it on ncaa!! Superstar mode has way to many bugs and it is very repetitive with the story lines and you cant even negotiate your contract Superstar mode should be the full nfl player experience!!! Im not the only one complaining about these changes!!! It's all over forms online. Theres minimum communication with the team on Superstar mode. You cant even give a suggestion on who or what position to draft like in franchise mode you see players asking to draft a QB or WR Same thing as franchise mode!! You removed player franchise mode. You cant be just a player currently in the nfl in franchise mode anymore you can only be a coach Can we please fix madden!! Give us thr fans the best madden in the past 10 years!! Madden hasn't been good honestly since madden 15 and madden 17!! Please take our comments and wishes into consideration!
