[XB/PS] Error Code when saving
I’M BEYOND angry. 2 YEARS of a multigenerational family GONE. My save is GONE. And when I try to play those families from my library and start a new game I can’t save them. My daughter’s old saves? Can’t play them. She has 2 saves - one family on each so not big files. I had one save. GONE. This new pack/update RUINED my game. I have EVERY expansion pack, stuff pack, and kit pack. $2k down the drain. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM - saves disappearing?!?!? Makes the game UNPLAYABLE. [GALLERY] 'Timed Out'/Server error when saving lots (After Patch 1.124.63)
What is happening: Following update 1.124.63.1020 that said this issue was fixed, I went through some of my lots to back them up to my library. I could upload about 50% of them. Some still give the "timed out" error. Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title
[RL] Save Error 423:various numbers/Issue with Secret
Hi everyone, I encountered an error while trying to save my game in The Sims 4. The error code displayed was: 423:2a7d5db5:f4062171. After the error appears, I’m unable to save my progress. I’m playing on Ondarion. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance! I'm on a PC and I have my game files on a usb drive. Today I had a separate usb drive plugged in at the same time and it seems like it may have changed the name of the usb in my computer files and now the EA app isn't recognizing it as it usually does. I have tried app recovery, i've tried starting a download and marking the USB with it's new name as the download location which i've seen as a solution on a different help page. I've restarted the app, my computer, ran a fix on the USB, ejected the USB and put it back in. I briefly got it to recognize the USB drive files and started the update, but got an error message saying the file location did not exist and the app went back to not recognizing the USB drive. I have no idea what to do and the EA help pages aren't helping. Is there a certain folder I should use as the download location in order for the app to recognize the existing downloads? I haven't used the app or game since june 26th but it was working fine then.
[HSY] 'Study for Exam' not showing cause of LE
Hi! In my vanilla-tested and modded game, whenever I load into copperdale high school, I keep getting the same error of ts4 data tuning not working, causing the "study for exam" book to not show up, and sometimes, my sims and NPC sims school notebooks aren't showing up and sending me error codes. Load Error Code 800/801
Issue When trying into a lot, you are greeted by load error 800/801. Buildings start to disappear and you also get endless loading. NPC Sim invades home - inconclusive Cause (Patch 1.110)
Random Townies keep walking in my house. My Sim doesn't even know most of them, but all of a sudden, they're upstairs on the computer, watching TV, and walking through my home. Specific save fails to load – PurchasePickerGroup value 16
Platform: PC Game version: 1.126.78.1020 One of my saves is no longer loading correctly in the current game version. I tested the game completely without Mods or CC. I removed the entire Mods folder and deleted localthumbcache.package. The LastException confirms: Modded: False The main error is: KeyError: PurchasePickerGroup does not have value 16 The error appears in: purchase_picker_service.py I tested other saves and they load normally. I also created a completely new save, and the new save works normally. I then tested an older version of the affected save from February 2026, and this older version also produces the same PurchasePickerGroup value 16 error. So far: Affected save: error occurs Older February version of the same save: same error Other saves: work normally Newly created save: works normally Mods/CC completely removed localthumbcache.package deleted Game reports Modded: False After the initial PurchasePickerGroup error, the LastException also generates several additional errors related to zone loading and business/retail. This has been an issue for a while, but I didn't see any bug reports for it, so I thought I'd submit one. If you have the Journey to Batuu pack, and have a droid, there's an interaction to "Distract Here" when the droid is following you. However, "Distract Here" does not end and causes the game to spam "last exceptions" at you. After beginning a distraction, the droid keeps sparking. You can't recall the droid. You can shift-click to reset the droid, and you can drag it into your inventory if you're on a lot, but the last exceptions continue. You have to restart the game to get it to stop. For some of the mission quests, you are supposed to have your droid distracting patrols in order to get into restricted areas. But since "Distract Here" doesn't' work properly, you can't really do that. It makes the droid progression gameplay kind of a waste, and the quests a lot harder than they need to be. Bug Report: Error in bar_WaitForDrink
Autonomy component doesn’t exist for target Error in bar_WaitForDrink I’m encountering an error when an interaction runs involving bar_WaitForDrink. The error appears when the bar_WaitForDrink interaction is running. It seems to indicate that the game is attempting to access an Autonomy component on a target that doesn’t have one.
