EA SPORTS FC 25 | Training Camp Evolutions
Today in Football Ultimate Team we’ll be introducing Training Camp Evolutions, a passive way to upgrade your Football Ultimate Team Player Items through the Web and Mobile Companions. Training Camp Evolutions will appear alongside other Evolutions, but they function a little differently and do not count towards the active Evolutions limit. When you submit an eligible Player Item for a Training Camp Evolution, that Player Item will be unavailable to use in gameplay for a set period of time until it’s upgraded, but it can still be viewed in your Club. When that set amount of time passes, your Evolution will have the corresponding upgrades applied once you claim it, and it can be used in gameplay once again. Some Training Camp Evolutions may even let you do further upgrades over time, enabling you to claim multiple levels of upgrades for the submitted Player Item. You’ll also be able to cancel an active Training Camp Evolution if you change your mind about it, but note that this will result in your Player Item not getting any unearned upgrades, and the Evolution you had previously put a Player Item into will no longer be available. Once a Training Camp Evolution is active and until it is complete, it can only be cancelled and there is no way to temporarily pause it. Training Camp Evolutions are intended to be a bite-sized FC experience you can interact with when you’re not actively playing FC 25 and are only available to get on Web and Mobile Companions. However, you are able to view your active Training Camp Evolution details and claim completed levels in-game on console/PC as well. You will also be able to view available Training Camp Evolutions in-game on console/PC prior to submitting an item on the Companion App. Collecting your upgraded Player Item can be done both in-game and through the Companions, but note that claiming a completed level for your Player Item will automatically start the next level of the Evolution, if it is available. Training Camp Evolutions will be introduced during Fantasy FC, with smaller upgrades intended to help familiarise yourself with this new system. Frequently Asked Questions How can I activate a Training Camp Evolution? Training Camp Evolutions can only be activated on the Web and Mobile Companions within the Evolutions section. Please note you are required to log out of your Football Ultimate Team on Console/PC before you are able to view your Football Ultimate Team on the Mobile or Web Companion App. Do Training Camp Evolutions count towards my active Evo limit? No, Training Camp Evolutions do not count towards your active Evo limit. For example, you are able to have two active in-progress Evolutions at the same time as a Training Camp Evolution. Training Camp Evolutions have their own separate limit which is currently set at one. How long do Training Camp Evolutions take to complete? Training Camp Evolutions can be as short as a few hours to longer than 30 days. The level of rewards received will generally align with the amount of time required to complete the Training Camp Evolution, so longer Evos may require more substantial time to earn. Can I use my Training Camp Evolution in-game while it is in progress? No. You will be unable to use an item that is in an active Training Camp Evolution in-game until the time specified on the Evolution has passed. If you try to enter a match with a Player Item that is currently in an active Training Camp Evolution, you will receive a message prompting you to remove the Item from your Squad before you begin matchmaking. You are able to cancel the Training Camp Evolution to return your Player Item’s in-game eligibility, however, you will not be able to receive any unearned upgrades and will not be able to restart the same Training Camp Evolution slot with another Player Item. Are Training Camp Evolutions free? Similar to standard Evolutions, Training Camp Evolutions may be offered with or without in-game currency requirements. Cancelled Training Camp Evolutions will not give players the rewards from the remaining levels, and players will not receive any FC Points or Coins used on the Evolution. Can I start a Training Camp Evolution with an in-progress, standard Evolution? No, you will not be able to use in-progress Evolutions to start a Training Camp Evolution. Fantasy FC is here! Turn stats into stars with Fantasy FC, where a player’s metrics in real-world matches inform ratings boosts, earning upgrades for general output like goals and clean sheets. As a new aspect for this campaign, the upgrade path also considers sportsmanship with avoiding yellow/red cards leading to extra upgrades. The better they and their club play week-in and week-out, the better upgrades they’ll receive in Ultimate Team. The campaign also includes Fantasy Heroes, who will earn upgrades based on their historical club’s performances in their upcoming domestic league matches. Fantasy FC League As we continue to evolve the Ultimate Team experience, we are introducing a brand new Live UT Friendly: Fantasy FC League. To celebrate the spirit of intense competition (the heart of Ultimate Team), the Fantasy FC League will be a limited entry Friendly, with rewards given solely for wins. Rewards will be structured in a league style format, with meaningful rewards available for every two wins within the tournament. In the spirit of Fantasy FC, users will need to build a squad out of your OVR allowance. The total number of entries available will be 36 with the maximum reward achieved at 30 wins. 12 entries will be given on the launch of the Live UT Friendly on Sunday 23rd, whilst a further 12 entries will be given on February 27th and March 3rd. Three exclusive Player Rewards will be available via the Fantasy FC League: Fantasy FC Ismaël Bennacer for 10 wins, Road to the Final Martin Odegaard for 20 wins & Fantasy FC Hero Maicon for 30 wins. The Fantasy FC League is the only place these player items will be available. Fantasy FC Cup Be sure to also check out the return of the Fantasy FC Cup! Featuring the same Fantasy OVR 'allowance’ entry requirements, you’ll have to build a unique squad to compete! The Fantasy FC Cup will refresh twice throughout the campaign, with both refreshes bringing new entry requirements, a new House Rules game mode and a new Objectives group to complete. Domestic League games only will count towards all non-seasonal upgrades. Cup games will only count towards the ‘Player wins the main domestic cup’ seasonal upgrade. What if my player already has 5 Weak Foot and 5 Skill Moves? The player will receive a +1 OVR upgrade only. When does player tracking begin from? Player tracking begins from the date the player is made available in Football Ultimate Team. For example, if a player is made available on February 26th and their team plays on the same day, that game will count as the first game. What counts as a Clean Sheet? The Clean Sheet upgrade is awarded to Goalkeepers, Defenders and CDMs. The player will receive this upgrade if the team concedes 0 goals and the player has played for at least 60 minutes. If the player is subbed off after 60 minutes whilst a clean sheet is intact, they will receive the upgrade even if the team concedes after the player has been subbed off. If the player is sent off after 60 minutes and the team then concedes, they will not receive the clean sheet. Does my player have to play to achieve the ‘No Yellow or Red Cards’ upgrade? No - If the player doesn’t play within those four games or receive any yellow or red cards, they will receive the upgrade. Does my player have to play to achieve the Team Wins or Team Goals upgrade? No - the player’s participation is not relevant in achieving this upgrade. What is the source of truth for goals and assists? Only goals and assists officially awarded by Opta will count towards the upgrades. Which clubs will the Heroes upgrades be based on?
