Skate 3 map & hall of meat.
I have been playing skate only since last week as I completely lost track of the news it came out as a free trial since last year. Ive been playing it and the controls and feels of it are as good as skate 3 but it seems to have a huge lack in the amount of mega ramps and absolute chaos like the 'hall of meat' sections we had in skate 3. I loved 'steep' as well for the amount of super mega descents it gave for totally impossible high flying, high speed insanity it gave. While San Vansterdam is packed with a good amount of skate spots, for a game coming out in 2026, it feels quite small and lacking day/night cycles, certain polish to the overall graphics, lack of music, and the size of the map feels also quite small. I get there is the isle of grom, but I think it would be great to also add skate 3 map as either a dlc or an accessible map in game. Also a suggestion to bring back 'hall of meat' for some chaotic fun. Hope this feedback helps.Climbing in this game is impossible
I always have objectives on top of buildings that i can not reach. I spend about 20 minutes just trying to figure out a way up. You can't grapple onto most things like windows or even some ledges so WHY even have objectives up there. It is not fun!!! There are no fast travel checkpoints up there and if there is, it is most likely locked. I still can not understand why there is not an easy way up to these things. Back in beta the only way i could get on top of them is by doing the glitch that would send you flying in the air and i would land where i needed to be. I'm just here to share my frustrations, I highly doubt they will even read this or even care to improve it in the near future. Oh and the menus keep glitching out. They overlap on other screens like your map or when you're changing outfits. That is something simple that should be fixed ASAP (since early access launched btw). The Zexy challenges are fun
I understand they’re not for everyone but I really enjoyed these challenges. My preferred play style is to grind out a crazy line for hours and this scratches that itch. I thought the rooftop manual one was really satisfying to hit clean. Don’t get me wrong, there are a couple tasks that aren’t very flattering to the game’s mechanics (ex: darkslide onto the big rail). These were more frustrating than I think they’re supposed to be. I hope that similar challenges in the future are more aware of this. I just want to let the devs know that the variety of challenges is appreciated. Please continue to cater challenges to all types of players - realistic, crazy lines, score chasers, whatever. CheersBowl physics
I feel like the vert physics are very strict and block out a small amount of creativity, mainly due to the inability to do smooth stalls. I think that there should be a way to do a tail stall or any other kind of stall without flying 3 feet out of the ramp first just how the hand plant behaves. There should be a way to just push in a direction on your right joystick in order to do a stall. I have tried and the only stall I can really get is an axle stall by doing a power slide which isn’t really how you would do one irl:/ another thing is the way the transition from a stall to riding functions and that there is not really a good way to get back into the ramp after going into a stall and the only way to get out of the stall is to Ollie and even if it is a tail stall especially you should be able to smoothly ride back in.More Life to The city
Sometimes the game when there is not a lot of players in the map feels a bit disapointing, i would love to see more NPC's around the map and especially Interacting with each others like they did in Skate 3, even the ability to trigger them in a pursuit when they are angry at you this was a very good thing and honestly very entertaining to see how Lively the world used to be in Skate 3, i would like this Vibe to be applied to Skate. too, let me know what you all think about this.
