cross platform unavailable
I was going to play arenas with a couple of my console friends since they finally brought it back after years of saying that it was never going to make a return and we were able to play it for the first couple days. I get on today to play some more and none of my console friends are in my friends list and everything says to check cross play settings, but ive checked multiple times thoroughly through the settings and there arent any cross play settings. i know my cross play is working because it says cross play enabled above the game mode selected. I just want to play arenas like the good ole days with my friends before its gone for years again. apex please fix your game!26Views0likes0CommentsEvent Gifting | Find a Friend Here!
Hey Legends! As many of you had noticed, there's been some recent events that involved gifting free items to friends. As a result, there's been many players who were not able to complete these challenges. If you're needing help completing these challenges, (and/or wish to help others), be sure to drop your username and platform here, so you can be ready to rise for the challenge! <!> Important Reminder <!> There are a few requirements that must be met in order to be eligible to send and receive gifts, which includes, (but not limited to): Being friends in-game for at least two weeks Having 2-Factor Authentication enabled (Gifters) Being at least level 50 Having an account in good standings For more information about gifting, click here. Can’t see EA friends on Friends list
Is anyone else having the issue where your current friends from other platforms are not showing up on your friends list? We both have cross play enabled. Checked everything and it’s all good. Literally just played together yesterday but they are no longer visible.Ranked Matchmaking Is Still Wildly Inconsistent — Is Anyone Else Noticing This?
I'm going to lay out why the current matchmaking system in Apex Legends feels completely broken—especially in ranked play. Unfair Matchmaking Across Ranks As a Platinum or Diamond player, I constantly get matched against Masters and Predators. In Plat: ~2 out of 10 games have Masters. In Diamond: every game includes Masters and Preds. If ranked matchmaking is supposed to be skill-based, why are the highest-ranked players consistently dropped into lower-ranked lobbies? That’s not competition—it’s a stomp waiting to happen. Three-Stack Masters/Preds in Lower Lobbies Running into full three-stacks of Masters or Preds in Plat or Diamond completely ruins competitive integrity. These are coordinated, high-skill teams versus mostly solo/duo squads from lower tiers. And it’s not just me—countless streamers have shown this happening over and over again. Why is this still allowed? “Server Population” Is a Weak Excuse Devs or players often say low server population justifies mixed-rank lobbies. But how does that make it okay to pit subpar players against top-tier opponents? That’s like matching semi-pro athletes against high schoolers because there weren’t enough teams. If ranked is supposed to reflect skill, preserve that system, even if it means waiting a bit longer in queue. Cross-Region Matchmaking Already Exists Some say, “You can’t match players from different regions.” But the game already does this. When I queue in MENA and there’s no one, it sends me to EU, SG, or HK servers—randomly. So here’s a basic idea already used in tons of games, (its probably being implemented but the wrong way): Keep server selection, but if no same-rank lobby is found after a certain time, widen the search to nearby regions. Just show a prompt: “We’re expanding your search to find fair matches.” This would improve matchmaking integrity without removing control from the player. Pure Ranked Lobbies Don’t Exist I’ve never seen a lobby where most of the players are Preds or Masters. That alone says everything. If matchmaking really worked, we should occasionally get matches where everyone’s around the same level. Instead, ranked feels like a chaotic mix every game. Conclusion Apex’s ranked matchmaking system is deeply flawed. It punishes mid-tier players and rewards top-tier players with easy lobbies. The game already supports cross-region play, so blaming server limitations just doesn’t hold up. If ranked is meant to reflect skill, the matchmaking system needs to start treating it that way. PS: I’ve read that the devs are aware the majority of the player base currently sits around Diamond, and they plan to make changes to shift the average back down to Gold. While I’m not entirely sure how this fixes the real matchmaking issues, I do appreciate that they’re at least acknowledging the imbalance. I’ve researched and followed this topic for years, and now that devs seem to be in a more responsive mode (or at least aiming to freshen up the experience), this part of the game needs an overhaul too. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on this.I would like to report a streamer who defames another country through streaming.
I was matched with a Twitch streamer in Trios Casual mode, but he intentionally sabotaged his teammates, and he even went as far as to make disparaging remarks about players and their countries on his stream. I tried to report him by accessing the report page, but it keeps saying it has expired and the report won't go through. How do I report this streamer?Solved113Views0likes5CommentsAbandon penalties
I get having abandon penalties but holy **bleep** got the same penalty twice even tho I left once. But also there shouldn’t be abandon penalties if your team is **bleep**ing braindead? Literally 1v3ing while I can see my teammates across map sitting in a corner in a TDM. My teammate bar is maxed I’m diamond and the game still gives me **bleep**ing **bleep** no matter what I play. The state of BR is so **bleep**ed I’d rather play anything besides BR **bleep**s so boring. Bring back 3v3s before I delete ts
