Abandon penalties
I get having abandon penalties but holy **bleep** got the same penalty twice even tho I left once. But also there shouldn’t be abandon penalties if your team is **bleep**ing braindead? Literally 1v3ing while I can see my teammates across map sitting in a corner in a TDM. My teammate bar is maxed I’m diamond and the game still gives me **bleep**ing **bleep** no matter what I play. The state of BR is so **bleep**ed I’d rather play anything besides BR **bleep**s so boring. Bring back 3v3s before I delete ts“Switching to other games.”
We as a community, deserve better than the garbage we are receiving. There are many issues that I won’t even discuss but I will mention gameplay, and cosmetics. Gameplay: Legends: Extremely unbalanced. Two words, Crypto and Ash. Not going to get into it too much. Guns: Also extremely unbalanced, the Eva-8, L-Star, the Rampage, the 3 best (unfair) weapons on ground, I don’t pick them up, they are boring, and too easy to kill people with. TTK: The TTK is way too fast, especially for something like Apex, an ability based game, the game is an outright healing game, you can hold so many heals but in games like Fortnite or COD, you can’t hold that many. For new players and casuals, the TTK is terrible, I like it. I love being able to everyone with a R99. But for others, it is just unfair. My friend is a casual and he can’t even protect his team anymore? He mains Gibby. I main Octane. He loves playing slow and supporting his team. He can’t do that anymore, even I, a sweat can’t even play as well. I can’t carry my team as I used to. And by all means, me and my friend aren’t terrible at the slightest. Many game styles have been thrown to the dust. Respawn cares about the “pros”? What about casuals? I can still play the new TTK, but it’s not that fun anymore. I’m a sweat, and I hate just killing everybody in a few seconds and then getting a squad wipe pretty easily, as we are trying to heal, something called 3rd parties come out of their den to hunt us down. We beat them, another on comes. I’m not joking, the 3rd parties got worse as healing don’t matter as you are looting and trying to armour swap. Matchmaking: Even worse than last season, they added some chart before you get into selecting your legend? That doesn’t help anything. We want changes. The TTK made matchmaking worse, level 5s can kill a good amount of people playing Ash and using the Eva-8, and end up in lobbies with platinum, or higher. Cosmetics: Legend and Weapon skins: The skins are terrible, they are just terrible. They are never creative, and useless in game. You can’t even see the skin unless you’re using an heirloom which costs 500 bucks and even if you have one, you can see the hands of the skin? Wow, amazing. I can go to Fortnite to get more skins for less money. They are more creative, more interesting, and I can see it in game. Or for Overwatch, I feel like they gift skins to players very often, they are pretty generous. Valorant weapon skins have actual different reload and inspect animations, the only time we had that, was with the new 500 dollar mythic R301, and Valorant isn’t even close to that expensive. Fortnite has creative skins, that are modeled nicely, despite them being kind of stupid, they are cool. A pickaxe, sometimes, you get a parachute as well, and honestly, being able to play as Master Chief would be as sick as hell. Another example, Overwatch, Overwatch gives legendary skins pretty often, and give extremely good sales on them like discounts. Valorant (I already mentioned). Honestly, bros. I’m going to switch to Valorant, Overwatch, and who knows, maybe even Fortnite. To Respawn, it doesn’t matter, I’m just one player lost, just a spec of dust in a old cabinet.
Bring penalty for quitting from the game!
Bring penalty for quitting from the game please! At least 2-3 min, better 5. Even in the trios - redemption they keep quitting like mad even when there are 2 teammates still alive. Almost in every single game! Players don't want to wait 1 minute for the respawn and they quit and start the new one. Many players are disrespectful towards others time and efforts and quit, this is just people's ugly nature. Please fix it by bringing a system of penalty: if someone quit from the game - 2 min of penalty. During the next few hours the penalty should increase for 1 more minute for each more match they do quit. There's no constant solos mode (I would like it to be present), so if you force us to play with randoms, bring some punishment for the quitters please! For those who quit too often a special badge (or tracker) should be present (the special 4th slot) which is impossible to unequip - "Betrayal Master" - quitted from the games 105384 times.
Cheating, new population and TTK (EU servers)
Hello Apex Legends team, I'd just like to give some feedback regarding cheating, the arrival of a lot of Russian/Chinese players and the new time to kill updates. As an average skilled player whom doesn't cheat (no interest in it nor the capacity) I find this update rather frustrating. Here's why: Indeed since 2024 and now in 2025 I've noticed more and more cheating. I report it when I notice something completely off, but I doubt much really happens. Secondly, I've also noticed a massive influx and change in the player base on the European servers. Indeed I am seeing more and more Russian players using the vocal, but at the same time less and less British, Germans, Italians, French or other EU nationals. It's a bit off putting and doesn't really correlate to the choice of using an EU server as an EU citizen. Thirdly the TTK update is making the game rather frustrating as we spend most of our time in the re-login queue, too much so. Add to this language barriers, lower skill level players in group and an obvious increase in cheating methods, well we end up with a rather disappointing 'gaming' experience all in all. The game was fun as a hop on and off experience, but it's stretching even that method of gaming a little too thin with what I've mentioned above. (Edited for personal addition: My friends who play on PSN refuse to play with me on the PC/mixed servers because they feel that cheating is too high, they do not enjoy the experience, hence I do not play with them and it's a shame).
