NHL 26 and future
Hello EA,
I want this brand to grow and I feel like there are a few things you guys need to do to make this game more hype able. There are features removed and installed that need to be looked at.
#1 You guys have got to put a 6s and 3s and 5s league (CPU G) ERP you can charge for it. The most popular feature in this game is the 6v6 but with all the ways the leagues struggle to keep stats track IPs etc. You've got to put into your game. You can charge for erp upgrades. I'm sure more established leagues will pay more for features like complete club arenas jerseys etc. You've got to make it easier for new players to get into the 6v6 game, I suggest a good tutorial or practice on how to play defense effectively, breakouts, traps etc. The 6v6 is what will bring in new players and keep the old ones.
#2 UI Menues and dressing rooms have got to be fixed. There is no excuse for someone to have to go to a different screen just to change there load outs in Dressing rooms, there is no excuse for a DR to not be functioning as it should.
#3 I feel like gameplay isn't too bad. The annoying goals that slide underneath the goalies is ridiculous and you have got to fix that. The one timer needs to be a little more effective not the shot but the ability to take the shot. There is a reason ovechkin is NHLs record holder in goals. Every year there is this problem with hitting. Either people get boarded and there is no calls or truculence gold is a thing. There is a reason truculence is banned in so many leagues. It's stupid. The change to the L2 pivoting system was a good move and the right one. I like how it is now and so do most people.
#4 The skater pre builds are dumb. And going in the wrong direction. We've had discussions in our ps parties about how ridiculous the idea is. How there would be no reason to spend money on these. What you need to do is scrap the MW3 idea and look more at growing your 6v6 communities through leagues. Also people who want to play 6v6 can't stand the pre builds cause they don't even really give an edge but are annoying as he'll in a 6v6 pub.
