Aliens Super broken?
Okay sooooo after the most recent update for the enchanted by nature pack i cannot create or play with alien sims at all. tried to create one and the game crashed and when I started moving mods out and combing through all my cc, turning a sim into an alien out of CAS caused time to pause and i wasn’t able to click on anything that wasn’t a drop down menu. it’s definitely not my CC as i’ve completely removed that and put it back in. i’ve reinstalled the game and uninstalled it and at this point im starting to accept this might be an EA issue. ive also tried deleting localthumbcache.package and repairing the game and that’s done nothing :( just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if there’s some kind of cache files i can deleteTeam Builder Bug: Some created uniforms won't load in the game
For one of my team builder teams, I have 2 custom uniforms (out of the 5 my team has) that won't load in the game. With one of them, it shows only the helmet as an option but when I try to select it, my player goes invisible and the game freezes and sometimes crashes. I've tried deleting the team in the game and reloading it, re saving and re submitting it from the website, etc. On the website the uniforms show up without any issue. What do i do??
Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves
This is a very specific bug symptom so please only post here if you see all of the below in your game. There are many similar issues, so this should be kept to this issue only. This can either be an extreme lag or a total freeze. Symptoms in the game Time stand still although there can be a delay where time moves for a but when part of UI is frozen You can't click on anything Sims move but do interactions endlessly Environment moves If you have multiple household members, you can't switch between them. Going to the map in this state can lead to endless loading You can still switch to build mode but only delete one item. Not all households are affected. Unsure what causes it. Unsure/More info needed It start happening at a specific time Computer starts to use up a lot of the resources Not this issue Sims don't respond to commands, standing around doing nothing
Menu glitch after the patch 2 July
Hello everyone. After the update of game, I can't use my woodworking table anymore. When I want to make something on the table, it is showing like this: I can't close this window by pressing the x icon. All I can do is save and exit the game. I have lots of mods, anyone knows which mod is causing this problem? Updated on 17 July: When I'm going to cook something, the same problem occurred. Thanks so much!
Severe lag after 1 hour of gameplay : requires restart
Hi, I'm experiencing a major performance issue that seems to affect a lot of players (I asked my community and many confirmed having the same problem). When I first launch the game, everything runs smoothly. Menus like Needs, Inventory, and Aspirations open instantly. Build/Buy mode is fine too, with maybe a tiny freeze the first time, but that’s normal. The issue is: the longer I play, the worse the game performs. - After around 30 minutes, the menus start to feel a bit slower. - After about an hour, the game becomes extremely laggy: - Opening the Needs panel takes a few seconds. - Build/Buy mode freezes for 5–6 seconds before opening. - The Eyedropper tool has a delay of around 2 seconds. - UI and general interactions become very sluggish. The only fix is to completely restart the game. After relaunching, everything is smooth again — but only temporarily. After another 30–60 minutes, the problem comes back. This isn’t a hardware issue. My PC setup: - Intel Core i9-12900K - 64 GB DDR5 RAM - NVIDIA RTX 4090 - Game installed on SSD - No mods, no CC - All expansion packs installed I also tend to play fast-paced, usually on speed 3. In one hour of real-time gameplay, I can go through 10–14 Sim days. It seems like the game is slowly filling up memory or cache that never clears unless I restart. It would be great to know if this has already been reported or tracked by the dev team, because it makes long play sessions really frustrating. Thanks!Game hangs starting overtime
i play using the super sim offense only feature to play only the offensive plays. I set the speed to slow to watch the computer sim defense. If a game ends in a tie while I am on defense, thus not playing, the overtime period starts by showing the rules then the coin toss which it selects for me because it still on sim, but after the coin toss it hangs. I can hear stadium sounds and see players wandering around on the field with the camera on the midfield logo, but the game will not progress to OT. The start menu button also does not work nor does pressing circle to exit the sim mode. I have had this happen every time the stated conditions are met and it has happened probably 10 times since launch. Please comment if you are having the same issue tho I may be the only person who uses super sim offense only. Also if you know of a work around that would be helpful. EA please fix this bug!
