BF6 crashes and forcefully reboots my PC
So after the newest updates(specifically a few patches ago but I cannot determine which on) the game might run fine for a few matches or maybe an hour at most. Then suddenly I get a hard crash and my computer forcefully reboots and restarts. This has been only an issue with BF6 and no other game I own or play does this. I did run a Dxdiog just to have that ready as I saw some others had a problem. I want to try the newest game update but crashing this hard makes me not even want to play the game among the various issues it still has, though any help would be appreciated as I still have some hope for this game.
Aliens are not working in my game/might be CC
My aliens aren't working in my game like I can't make alien at all without my game freezing. I tried all the steps from the previous forums on here about removing my CC to see what is causing it. I believe it is one of my mods or CC because when I started a fresh new mod folder, I was able to make an alien. The problem is, I have like 96 GB of CC and mods, and it's a lot to go through. I was wondering if anyone has tips to get through my mods faster to see which mod is causing the problem. I have better exceptions, but it's not showing up in there. Or if anyone knows about mods or CC that might be causing this problem recently?
Unable to launch game after Season 3 Update
After updating the game to Season 3 the game refuses to launch and will completely brick my computer, requiring a hard reset through the power button. The game will boot up, show the pre-start up "checking for updates" screen, boot in windowed mode, go full screen, and then completely brick my computer. My entire system will freeze, nothing on my second monitor will respond to anything I do, and even commands like ctrl+alt+del to open task manager will not work. Occasionally I will be able to hear the splash screen sound effects, but that's it. Yesterdays attempt after reinstalling the game resulted in the same thing, although this time it even turned my monitor from a black screen to a "no signal" screen before returning back to the black screen. I have tried: Verifying game files and reinstalling the game Updating GPU drivers and reinstalling GPU drivers Updating Windows and reinstalling Windows Running in Administrator Mode The game worked perfectly fine before the Season 3 update, and every other game on my system also works completely fine. Stuck at black screen during game launch from EA App on PC?
So I'm on PC and use the EA App. Occasionally, I get stuck on a black screen at launch. My game typically loads... then opens a smaller sized black square, after about 10 seconds it goes full screen and the game is ready. Usually just from OCD, click the smaller black window and it seems to help it along. I've noticed sometimes when I don't click it or dont pay attention. It gets stuck on a full black screen. I hear my GPU fans going, the game is technically running, yet I cannot Ctrl+Alt+Delete out, or Alt F4, or anything - windows is still working because if I just click the power button, it properly shuts down the PC. Reliability/Event viewer sometimes shows a failed windows update to coincide with this but other times it doesn't. Has anyone else had similar issues? Other than this, the game works fine and I can play for hours. I wouldn't call this an actual "crash". 9070XT 12700KF 32GB DDR5 5200 Windows 11 Gen4 M.2 7200Fast Forwarding freezes game
I press fast forward button, time is frozen after the game start around 10 secs and everything I can't click in. This satuation doesn't appear before the update.I try to reset the sim but it is not working.Anyone can teach me how to solve this problem? The computer freezes completely and I have to reboot.
Hello, I've been struggling with this problem for six months now. It manifests itself strangely: you can play for a couple hours and everything will be fine, but then it crashes the 6th or 7th game because of it. It freezes so completely that I have to reboot the computer with the button. Sometimes resetting the secure boot keys helps, but not always. What's interesting is that before the freeze, the FPS can drop from 120 to 50-40 for a few seconds, followed by the game crashing. During the freeze, the Windows log shows an error message saying "You need to update your secure boot keys/CA," but updating them doesn't solve the problem. Also, if I wait a few seconds during a freeze, I get a BSOD with the stop code "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION." OC: Windows 10 22H2 MB: Gigabyte X870E elite wifi 7 Processor: Ryzen 9800X3D (No overclocking) Graphic Card: RTX 5090 (Undervolted, Driver 591.86) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2x32 6000MHz The game is installed on an SSD, which passes all integrity checks. P.S. Undervolting the video card didn't affect this issue; I tested it with the stock card and it didn't help. Moreover, these issues don't occur in more demanding games like CB2077, Wukong, RE9, etc.Freezing and crashing on ps5
I don't want help just to vent (EA won't fix it anyway but will make sure there update their store packs everyday) For weeks on I've had problems with freezing and crashing on my fc26 loading screens, sbcs and during games. the problem is getting worse and EA don't care that this problem is ruining the game for a number of uses across the game. Iam now going to delete the game and won't ever buy an EA game ever again
