infinite loading screen
hi guys! i was hoping someone would be able to help me with a problem i’ve been having with my game i recently installed the sims 4 on a new macbook (previously used a windows computer). i typically use a ton of cc, no heavy mods (just mccc, lighting mods, etc.). i created a new save file and didnt run into any issues until the update a few days ago, which essentially broke my game. every time i try to save and exit cas, whether it’s creating a new household or editing an existing one, my game is stuck on an infinite loading screen and i have to force quit. i’ve tried removing certain mods, removing my mods folder altogether, and repairing the game, but nothing works. even when i remove the mods folder and try to create a new save with entirely no cc, i still get stuck with the infinite loading screen. if anyone has advice on how to fix this i would really appreciate it <3 thank you in advance
Constant freezing with PC
It seems like I cant even complete a game anymore due to the constant freezing and full system crashes in this game. Is this not an issue, EA? People paid money for this game, give us a product that remotely works, or at the very least is stable enough to warrant 70 dollars. This is not my first rodeo with EA, but this is very frustrating because it could be the best way to play CFB, if a little more effort is put in.
Build Mode Stops Working, Followed by Save Freeze
Lately, my game has been bugged whenever I enter Build Mode. In an older file, I tried building on an empty lot in Windenburg. At first, I started with the walls, and the issues came up when I placed the roofs; resizing, deleting, and changing the color/texture didn't work. I tried Buy Mode, placing a tree to see if it was an issue affecting only the roofs, but it also affected the tree (and other objects). I would get back to Live Mode to save the progress up to that point; however, I would stay stuck on the save screen. After 10 minutes, I forced-quit the game. I thought it only affected that file. After downloading Cottage Living, I made a new file and moved my new family into an empty lot in Henford-on-Bagley. The same issue occurred: as I made it to the roofing, nothing would work, despite the sound effects of deleting/placing/buying playing. I went back to Live Mode to save the progress, and again the game got stuck on the save screen, so I had to force-quit. It's frustrating, especially since I was excited to try out Cottage Living. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? If so, did you find a solution? Thank you!Game freezes after editing player in Fran. Mode
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix for it? If you go into the roster management section when in franchise mode and then edit a player (change his position from RT to LT for example) and then exit out of the edit player menu, the game will then freeze right after you click the save and exit option.... It has happened to me every single time I have tried to edit a player so far (roughly 5 times total). This is REALLY annoying and I need a fix for this..... anyone else having this issue?Won't do tasks
There are times where my sims are doing something but then out of nowhere their tasks on the left side of the screen suddenly stop from becoming to-do's to is doing. I've had multiple instances where I find them standing still frozen because their task bar won't function correctly that their tasks start piling up where it goes outside of the screen. I have been able to solve it temporarily by forcing them to travel to another location and their task bar resets.
Losing RP due to game crash
I can't tell you how much RP I've lost in Ranked play due to the game failing to load me in properly or crashing straight to the home screen mid-game (with no prior packet loss or warning). Additionally, when teammates quit early, the remaining players are still forced to play at a disadvantage without any RP forgiveness. Questions/Suggestions for the Dev Team: Loss Forgiveness for Teammates Quitting: Can we implement RP loss protection when a teammate abandons the match? Crash Protection: Can RP protection or a rollback system be added to prevent penalizing players when losing points due to game bugs/crashes? RP Compensation: Is there any system in place to restore RP lost to technical issues?Report bug n cheater
Please fix the bug on the nibble card, when it is directed to a plant that has certain abilities such as a galacta cactus, the game suddenly freezes and won't start, and you can't play cards or start a battle. Another example is Potato Mine. For the cheat report, there was a time when a player only used 3 cards Like zombology teacher, teleport and trickster. He spammed those 3 cards.
