Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves
There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on. If you encounter this is with ANY mods in your game, then this is not your thread. Please head over to the The Sims 4 Mods & Custom Content forum and post there for help or ask at the MCCC Discord. This is a very specific bug symptom so please only post here if you see all of the below in your game. There are many similar issues, so this should be kept to this issue only. This can either be an extreme lag or a total freeze. Symptoms in the game Time stand still although there can be a delay where time moves for a but when part of UI is frozen You can't click on anything Sims move but do interactions endlessly Environment moves If you have multiple household members, you can't switch between them. Going to the map in this state can lead to endless loading You can still switch to build mode but only delete one item. Not all households are affected. Unsure what causes it. Unsure/More info needed It start happening at a specific time Computer starts to use up a lot of the resources Not this issue Sims don't respond to commands, standing around doing nothing
Fast Forwarding freezes game
I press fast forward button, time is frozen after the game start around 10 secs and everything I can't click in. This satuation doesn't appear before the update.I try to reset the sim but it is not working.Anyone can teach me how to solve this problem? We play locally and edit teams to make custom squads. We have done this for years on FIFA and there was never an issue until FC25 where the game crashed after you edited teams and tried to play The issue was fixed FC25 in January. To our disbelief the issue is back in FC26. PC Controller NOT WORKING online - Why it fails and how to temporarily solve it
If you are facing problems with PC controllers and your controller does this: Works perfectly in offline: moments, squad battles, ... At online matches: rivals, tournaments works for a few seconds and suddenly stops working, you can only pass or shoot Then you have the same problem as me. Apparently its caused by some graphic or screen issue, and not by the controller. Here is a temporarily solution that "works" for me: Go to screen settings and limit your fps to 60hz and turn on VSync, this way your controller should work. I say temporarily solution because I don't find this a real solution, I hope they don't spend again 1 month without fixing this like last year. This problem is similar to last year problem that was causing stuttering, lag and fps drop when someone in the match used L1 dribbling, and it was temporarily solved by limiting fps. This should be fixed ASAP, honestly I don't want to play this game with a terrible 60 fps experience, the game looks horrible and doesn't even look like 60 fps, looks that you are playing a **bleep**ty 30fps game in 2012. I WANT TO PLAY WITH MY 165 MONITOR REFRESH RATE. If this does not get fixed it's an absolutely lame and a joke company, how can I be experimenting the same issue that I had on FC 25 (That lasted months of unplayable gameplay) ON THE RELASE DATE OF FC26! ON THE RELEASE DATEEEE!!!!!!! If you find some setting to improve this, you can share it on this post
Shame on you EA
The game is unplayable on PC due to lags, stutters and input delays. There are complaints going back almost three months and EA does not even make a statement they are aware of this issue. They don't even answer any complaint about stutters, fps drops or input delays. They are actively ignoring players. The topics in which I opened the subject are being removed, and my complaints about their removal are being removed. I feel like I've been scammed. Update: 20 days has passed. A new patch has been published. Problem is worse then it was pre patch. Not even a single moderator gave a **bleep** about this discussion. Atleast they address it on their patch notes so I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to play smoothly in april I suppose. Never buying this game(scam) ever again Update: 24th day for this discussion. More then 4 months for every other player who has this problem. A day before toty and still no solution. Even saw a moderator who believes its not about the game but its computers. Address it better next time scEAmmers. Update: 27th day and problem goes on. Quited many games as they started because of stutter problem. I missed Yamal bug but it's alright (nice marketing move guys). Also disconnection problems started. It seems like problems and game gets worse day by day. I plan on making more of these updates to document how incompetent EA is. Day29: Dda has turned my gaming into a complete nightmare. Couldn't pass, consecutive shots hitting the post, my players forgetting how to run etc. Couldn't win even a single match today. I'm pretty sure this game will be the last time I pay EA. Day31: Input delay is back. Couldn't play a single game smoothly. I wasn't expecting that you guys would care enough to fix other problems but making input delay a problem again after an update was a big surprise for me. Guess EA just doesn't want their players to play their game. Day34: Due to input delay couldn't finish any of my event objectives. I couldn't get my squad or rivals rewards too. Opened more then 200 packs after full release and best I could get was TOTW cards. Feels like I got soft banned. I can't play or can't pack proper players. Hey EA give me a heads up if you don't want me to play your game. I promise I won't buy fc27 (I don't want to get scammed once more) but atleast would you let me play this one? Day35: Is it that hard to take your updates back to the states where stutters and input delays were not a problem? Are you guys that imcompetent or is it intentional? Just admit you screwed big time. Nobody likes your game anymore. How can they love your game when you caused them not to be able to play for four months? Forums are full of complaints and you guys don't even answer them. SHAME ON YOU!!! Day42: The new promo is here. Nothing is fixed. 11 days have passed, the forums are full of complaints about input delays and stutter problems but no one from EA cares. Thanks for the tokens that I will be unable to get due to your broken game, indifference and incompetence. Day43: Only mode I could play was rush and you did broke it too. Today my controller was unresponsive from the start of any rush match. Well done guys you managed to ruin the last game mode I was able to play. I am trying to play your **bleeped** up game since november. I bet it is criminal to treat pc players this way. I hope you guys get sued or whatever. I want justice at this point. Day45: New patch is here. I was hopeful (naive) that this patch was the one fixes my problems. What a joke of a company you are. 14 days has passed since input delay problem has started and the new patch doesn't fix sh*t. I wish I could visit your hq in California and spit on your faces for everything you have done to the players. Day49: I got banned for a day. They banned me instead of fixing a 5 months old problem or answering any of our complaints. They don't fix anything but ban you for complaining. Since november I got zero answers from you but banned twice.
Bans caused by false anti-cheat flags while having connection issues to servers
I believe that there is a problem happening in apex at the moment that involves the anti-cheat flagging people falsely for reasons like connections to the server and reconnecting to them after being disconnectedand then banning them for the reason of "Gameplay Enhancement" . A previous pro player Edam_FPS was recently banned twice and unbanned twice for the same reasons. i believe other people as far back as 2 months have been experiencing this issue and im unsure if EA or Respawn have any knowledge of its case. I was falsely banned myself on the 21st of Jan while i was in the firing range after a tdm match, i was simply aim training when the ban occured and the only things that i had open/used at the time of me playing was "Crosshair X", Steam Launcher settings: -dev -console -preload -novid -cl_forcepreload -high -fullscreen +fps_max 180 +mat_letterbox_aspectgoal 0 +mat_letterbox_aspect_threshold 0 +building_cubemaps 1 +cl_fovscale 1.7 i also had Aimlabs open at the time of the ban but ive used both apps before simultaneously and have had no issues prior. I have also used exitlag in the past with no issues of conflict with apex. I have already submitted my appeal from the ban but i am making this post to highlight the issue that many other players maybe experiencing at this time. i cannot account for their personal interactions with the game but the frequency and timings make it likely that others maybe getting falsely banned in the same manner.
Game isnt playable on pc
I started a discussion 1000 times and till now no reaction for the pc community. last couple of days the game play is rough again on pc.... players feel verry heavy the screen stutters like always. not even speaking of input delay.... @ea U going to do something or was the game on pc an easy money grab and you dont respect them... If you cant fix the game.... just dont release it next time on pc and be fair with our users
