Severe lag after 1 hour of gameplay : requires restart
Hi, I'm experiencing a major performance issue that seems to affect a lot of players (I asked my community and many confirmed having the same problem). When I first launch the game, everything runs smoothly. Menus like Needs, Inventory, and Aspirations open instantly. Build/Buy mode is fine too, with maybe a tiny freeze the first time, but that’s normal. The issue is: the longer I play, the worse the game performs. - After around 30 minutes, the menus start to feel a bit slower. - After about an hour, the game becomes extremely laggy: - Opening the Needs panel takes a few seconds. - Build/Buy mode freezes for 5–6 seconds before opening. - The Eyedropper tool has a delay of around 2 seconds. - UI and general interactions become very sluggish. The only fix is to completely restart the game. After relaunching, everything is smooth again — but only temporarily. After another 30–60 minutes, the problem comes back. This isn’t a hardware issue. My PC setup: - Intel Core i9-12900K - 64 GB DDR5 RAM - NVIDIA RTX 4090 - Game installed on SSD - No mods, no CC - All expansion packs installed I also tend to play fast-paced, usually on speed 3. In one hour of real-time gameplay, I can go through 10–14 Sim days. It seems like the game is slowly filling up memory or cache that never clears unless I restart. It would be great to know if this has already been reported or tracked by the dev team, because it makes long play sessions really frustrating. Thanks!5KViews606likes24CommentsLot of people want Class Action Well ..
Starting a class action lawsuit — especially against a massive corporation like EA — is no small task, but it can be done if you have legitimate legal grounds. Here’s a no-BS breakdown of what’s needed and what you’re up against: 1. Legal Grounds (The “Why”) You need a clear legal claim. For EA and NCAA 26, potential claims could include: Breach of Warranty – they sold a product that doesn’t work as advertised. Fraud or Misrepresentation – if you can prove they knew it was broken and sold it anyway. Unfair or Deceptive Business Practices – many state consumer protection laws cover this. Violation of consumer protection statutes – like California’s Unfair Competition Law (EA is based in California). 2. Lead Plaintiff(s) You need at least one or a few people (like yourself) willing to serve as lead plaintiffs — basically the face of the lawsuit. This includes: Showing proof of purchase Describing the damages (time lost, game crashes, unplayable features, etc.) Willingness to be involved in the process (even minimally) 3. A Lawyer or Law Firm That Handles Class Actions You must have a class-action attorney. Find a firm that specializes in: Consumer protection Class action lawsuits Tech or gaming industry (bonus) Most offer free consultations and don’t charge unless they win (contingency-based). 4. Commonality (The “Class” Part) Your issue has to be widespread. You’re not suing for your own personal problem — you're representing a class of people affected in the same way. You’ll need: Forum threads Reddit posts Screenshots EA support responses Any mention from EA acknowledging the issue This helps prove it’s not just you, but potentially thousands of players. 5. Certification Before it becomes a full-blown class action, a court must certify the class, which requires: Enough people affected Similarity of the complaints Lead plaintiffs who fairly represent the class That a class action is the best legal route (rather than 10,000+ individual suits) This part is a legal hurdle, and where a lot of class actions die if not backed by a solid legal team. 6. Damages (The “What You Want”) You need to outline what the lawsuit is trying to get: Refunds Punitive damages (if fraud or deception is proven) Injunctions (forcing EA to fix the issue or stop selling it) Realistically, this often ends in a settlement where affected players get like $10-$50 — unless the case is egregious. 7. Filing the Suit If all the above is in place, the attorney will file the lawsuit in either: Federal court (most common for class actions, especially if it's across states) Or state court (if it’s based on a state law)Play A Friend Online desync error
Please can yall fix the desync error that comes up every time my friend and I try to play online we have tried since the deluxe preorder came out. Whats the point and buying a preorder when the game wont even let you play. I don't know if it servers or what, but it’s crazy how you can’t even do a simple head to head against somebody. It won't even get through the pre game stuff.Solved643Views1like126Comments[PC] Possible AMD X3D CPUs Stuttering FC 24 & 25
I decided to make this new post as all the other posts are old and no mentions of AMD X3D cache CPUs. I've recently purchased a 9950X3D and tried both FC 24 & 25. In the main menu, some cut scenes, and pause menus are smooth as silk but the game itself is a stutter CITY. Best one word to describe is 'unplayable'. Looking at the frame-time graph I can see that there is a sharp fps drop/spike every 0.5-1 seconds constantly for like 30-40 seconds stops for like 5ish seconds and kicks back again. It's not even that consistent, this explanation was one scenario. In fact in FC 24 it is exactly the opposite, it lags during cut scenes and some what normal game play with minor to sometimes heavy spike lags which btw did not use to happen anyways. Relevant PC specs if it makes any difference: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D ASUS ROG RTX 4090 OC Ed. 24G Windows 11 Pro OS: on Samsung 980 PRO 1TB Games: Samsung 980 PRO 2TB Short list of things I tried (did not work): I'm on a fresh Windows 11 installation (Latest chipset. graphic drivers, bios) Forcing game to run on CCD0 (cache cores) Forcing game to run on CCD1 (frequency cores) Disabling Hyper-Threading running game elevated, high priority, disabling Windows 11 game-mode, Windows High Performance Power Plan Run the game lowest settings, highest settings, full screen 60Hz/144Hz, borderless, windowed Moving the game to the same drive as the operating system Things I tried that worked (Not really): Tested the game with a friends PC (Intel 12900k), game runs smoothly out of box Tested the game with my old broken Intel 14900k, game runs smoothly out of box Tested the game with my laptop (Intel 13950HX) games runs smoothly out of box I do not have an AMD non-X3D CPU to test any further. So, There was no snake oil seller I could find out in the wide internet that had a decent suggest fix for this. The only explanation I see here, there is something wrong with FC 24 & 25 that does not like the extra cache or the architecture. According to Reddit posts date back 10+ months ago. This issue been going on since 7950X3D days around a year ago s well and still persist. Every other game I played and tested work out of the box. Please fix this issue as this game currently unplayable on my main daily use PC. I will not pull my laptop out every time as a solution when I need to fill my soccer cravings.349Views0likes3CommentsUnplayable after pregnancy fix update, lag/crashes
Ever since I updated my pc on July 18th my game will not run correctly and is now completely unplayable no matter what settings I try to play on or how much I try to repair/reinstall the game. I do not have mods and my computer is not the problem. I can play for about 30 minutes before the game crashes, and even then it is nearly impossible to play during that span of time because my sims need to constantly be reset to complete any tasks and the longer I play the worse the lag gets. I have seen many others online with the same issues since the last update, none of us can even play the game right now. Things that have caused my game to crash randomly also: downloading anything from the gallery, trying to travel with Sims, and exiting CAS.4Views0likes0CommentsBUG IN HEAD TO HEAD MODE
There are many bugs in the game. I even have plans to commit suicide because of this extreme stress, I am not joking. When I play one versus one mode, I am trying to raise my rank to become FC Champions. There are many bugs with many players, they often move back and forth in defense, really the awareness of my defense is very chaotic. Even though I have Risee 108, Vidic 109, Cafu 109, but when they defend, they just watch the ball pass in front of them as if they don't want to defend. In the midfield or midfielder area, the situation is exactly the same as my defense, they really just watch the ball pass in front of them, while the attackers shoot in an unreasonable way, often flying very high or the ball lags behind. The delay when doing tricks also makes me frustrated. Once again EA Sport, please respond to my comment, I don't want anyone to commit suicide just because of a game, which initially they wanted to relieve their stress on their favorite game, but instead become more stressed, I BEG YOU EA. ! !!8Views1like3Commentscontrol isn't working on PvP modes
My keyboard control isn't working in any pvp mode in ultimate team. Classic, alternate, customized - nothing works only short pass works in whatever key I assign it to, and there's no response to the other keys then. I have no problem with squad battles or other offline playable modes. I reinstalled the game but the problem doesn't go away. Do anybody has any idea about this?3Views0likes0CommentsAre FC 25 servers down?
I check EA sports website to find out if Playstation FC 25 service was been maintaines and they supposed to be online. So the question is, EA sport why I can't play my game I pay for? The is the point of having a game if it can't be play when you want to? Fix your issues before you lose more players.... Can't even play a stupid match because your game doesn't work properly. If EA sports spend more time fixing their issues with their current game (fc25) instead of working on a new game (fc26) we will not have this type of issues....40Views0likes0Comments
