Season 29: 1-2 Second Freeze on Kill/Win Events Only on EA App
System: Ryzen 7 9800X3D RX 6700 XT Windows 10 Apex Legends Season 29 Problem: The game freezes for about 1-2 seconds specifically when getting a kill, squad wipe, or winning a match/champion screen. Normal gameplay and movement are smooth. Important: The issue ONLY happens when launching Apex through EA App. The exact same game/account on Steam does NOT have the issue. Additional info: Several players in my community are experiencing the exact same issue after the Season 29 update. Already tried: BIOS update GPU driver update Shader cache reset EA App cache clear Disabling overlays This started after the Season 29 update.
Pro Clubs Ping Issues
[BUG] Pro Clubs Server Selection Randomising Every Game — British Isles Switching to Western Europe Since EA added new servers to the Pro Clubs rotation, server selection is no longer holding between matches. What's happening: Server is set correctly before a match (e.g. British Isle 2) When connecting to an opponent, it is completely luck of the draw whether the game respects your chosen server or silently bumps you into a random region The issue appears to be specifically affecting the team accepting the invite — the accepting team's server selection is being overridden and randomised at the point of accepting, regardless of what region they had set Even when it does hold, after the match ends it can switch to a completely different region (e.g. Western Europe) without the player changing anything Both clubs have to fully reset their lobby and recheck server selection before every single game Real world impact: Out of a full evening of matches, players are reporting only 2-3 games on an acceptable server. The remainder are played on severely increased ping making the experience genuinely unplayable rather than enjoyable. This is ruining competitive matches entirely. Expected behaviour: Server selection should remain on the chosen server at all times. Accepting a match invite should never override or randomise the agreed server region. So, I'm having an issue when I try to type something into the search bar in my game. It lets me type one letter, but as soon as I try to enter anything more, the game starts loading for a moment and then crashes completely. I have thousands of mods installed, so I suspect that one of them is causing the problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you fix it?Ranked BR match deployment bugged out hard
Encountered a nasty bug loading up my first BR match (ranked or unranked) after the patch dropped. I'm stuck and never get to deploy, just staring at the ground with messed up UI. Playing on PS5, queued up for a Ranked Battle Royale Quads match. The first 2 minutes, it's not rendering anything right. Never renders my character. Non responsive UI, cannot change class... so I'm thinking it's just behaving the same way that it has been lately, you can only change your class in the final few seconds. Nope, couldn't even do that. Then just before the jump cinematic starts, it starts rendering UI bits from the Loadout screen in the main menu like the Nato/PAX toggle. Part way through the cinematic, I'm suddenly looking at fixed camera location on the map maybe 10m above the ground, with some janky UI elements being shown (pic 1 attached shows my lovely view). For about 10 minutes, I tried everything I could to break out of that mess and deploy so my squad wouldn't be a man down. They even went to a Redeploy Tower to try and get me in, but no dice, the game said no teammates to redeploy. Once everyone in the squad died, only then did it decide I should be redeployed. But my character still wasn't rendering, it immediately faded to black, and said squad eliminated. And for the coup de grâce, it didn't even give me last place. Nope, I got "0th place". Since season 3 that started to happen but since season 4 it’s almost impossible to play the game. im even scared to start a task, join a group or leave the group, that’s so frustrating. It happens doing whatever, it could be moving to a fast point, going to the island or city. It’s becoming impossible to finish the task or get blue tickets as I couldn’t join a group or yes but as soon as they/I start the task it just get the black screen. I’ve tried this with the last task of the event 3 times then shut down the ps4 as it no possible. I already did all the steps they say on the website, licences, delete the game and none of that works. Please solve this, I feel I payed premium pass for nothing as I can’t play
Sim is showering in a loop
After the latest update (a few days ago) my sim won't stop showering.. whenever there's a shower, my sim will automatically go. At first i thought it was a mod that was broken or corrupted so i took all of them out of the Mod's folder and cleaned everything and started a new game but it happened again.. i suppose is a bug from the game itself.. please so something about it. Click on a lobby and starts to load and then freezes up and its been like this for a few weeks now. I play another game because I dont want to go through the aggravation of closing it and restarting it. Everytime I go to play it just freezes. Any ideas to fix and I'll be glad to play.
