The servers in GW2 being destroyed has to be addressed.
As many people in the Garden Warfare community are probably aware, there has been a major rise in hacking in PC lobbies recently. Over the last two weeks, I’ve been swapping from region to region testing Turf Takeover and the Rainbow Portal, and the majority of my games have ended with everyone becoming invisible, low gravity being enabled, players having one health, or the match otherwise being completely ruined. It has now escalated even further. In some matches, the second I spawn in, my character is launched into the skybox and the game becomes completely locked. I can’t click anything, open a menu, or leave normally. The only solution is to Alt-F4 the game. At that point, the multiplayer side of the game is basically unplayable. What makes this so frustrating is that EA and PopCap still sell the game, including during sales, while many new players may have no idea how bad the hacking problem currently is. I’ve seen other players post about these issues too, including concerns about hackers affecting player levels, but there still doesn’t seem to be any clear response or solution. That is a shame, because Garden Warfare 2 is genuinely an amazing game at its core. It has dozens of characters, fun story missions, Garden Ops, Turf Takeover, and a ton of replayability. The wacky Plants vs. Zombies style gives it a personality that very few shooters have. When the game works, it is still one of the most fun multiplayer shooters out there. But in its current state on PC, I can’t recommend it for multiplayer. The hacking situation has made the game unreliable and frustrating, and it makes me more cautious about EA and PopCap products going forward. It also makes me concerned about the future health of the Plants vs. Zombies franchise, especially with PVZ3 on the way, if the existing community is being left in this state.
PvZ Gw freezes when connecting to EA servers.
When starting the game everything seems normal, but when connecting to EAs servers the game freezes and has to be closes using the task manager. I ve already tried everything i could: uninstalling, logging out, changing my account password, deleting the EA app, repairing it from within the app, but nothing fixes the error.
[PvZ 1] Game will not launch on newer Android systems
I have a Samsung Galazy S25 Ultra and the original PvZ hangs at the end of the loading screen 19/20 times the game is launched, often only booting after a fresh install. I've seen others on newer android devices reporting the same error. My guess would be some hangup in the loading process on newer versions of Android, as the game works fine on older versions of the OS. Is this being looked into at all by the developers, or are those of us on newer devices forever banished from playing a game we grew up with? I suspect that is the case, as I doubt EA will release a patch, but wanted to make the issue known I've played this game over a decade and I'd like to continue to do so if possible
Plant Vs Zombies GW2 won't load!!
I just bought Plants Vs Zombies GW2 (PS5) for my son and it won't load (just hangs on the loading screen with the dancing flower) and sometimes throws an error. We have re-installed GW2 (about 5 times!!!), checked for updates for GW2 and the PS5. Started in safe mode, cleared cache and ran a repair. Checked internet connection and speed. Tried and adult account and experienced the same issue. Is there something wrong with the EA server? Does the game still work - we just bought it - grrrPVZ Heroes - Event cards lost due to new daily rewards
Due to the new daily rewards, if you are given event tickets and thanks to that you reach 1200, not only do you NOT get that card, but the counter increases by 1, making it no longer possible to get 4 in a week. This is the second time with Garlic (last time it was Defensive End) and I had to pay the price for this bug EA support refuses to fix or compansate. I would like to get 2000 sparks back.Bug with Nibble trick
In pvp, I've had two instances where the game crashes after using the Nibble trick to kill a target with 1 hp, but it will struggle generating the card and the game pauses. I get no generated card, I cant even pass the turn. The timer runs out and nothing changes. I can view cards and tap on them in the clip, but nothing else is functioning. I have to concede to get out, which sucks for rank.
