Advancing AI?
So one of the things that I absolutely love about this game is that the more we put into it, by way of the developers, the more the game sort of “comes to life.” Has anyone else noticed this? I’ve had a number of scenarios where sims will exercise their “free will” when I try to make them do something, and be affirmative about it. Has anyone else noticed this? One cute thing that happened similarly, I am playing a sim who goes to Foxbury University. She has always opted for the sweets being served at the stand outside when I let her choose on her own. Even if she is standing by the food buffet at Darby’s Den. So today, she shows up to the Den hungry. I take a peek at the menu to see what they have available and nothing really wowing (garden salad, chocolate chip cookie, something else). So I don’t manually select anything for her. When I resume the game, SHE opts to go to the buffet instead of the food stand outside like she normally would. I say to myself, “She’s going to get the chocolate chip cookie, watch.” I watch her order and they place a darn chocolate chip cookie on the counter. I said to myself, “Wow, that’s crazy. My sim literally has a sweet tooth.” That’s all! It’s cute how they decide. Thanks for reading.
Happy Birthday Landgraabs 🎉
With The Sims 24th Anniversary, I suddenly realized I still haven't aged up Landgraabs, Not even once despite giving them many makeovers 🤨 What are they? Vampires? obviously not. Hence I set out today, with one goal: Age up Nancy and Geoffrey. It's about time. (Nancy dislikes this plan, and the cook, as usual.) I pondered for a while, where would Landgraabs host a birthday party? then it hit me obviously, on this ''yacht'' I built one day when I was way too inspired. No despite being Landgraabs they're not landcrabs after all as uninvited Johnny Zests bad jokes would tell you if someone was listening to him anyway. The cakes were struggle Because I realized that I can't use wedding cakes for birthdays, I mean tell me Landgraabs birthday cake wouldn't be this extra at very least Ouch careful there Nancy no need to stake yourself even if you are not a vampire. and then suddenly all kinds of random sims flooded the place to fight for that cake Thankfully I had thought ahead and bought second cake which they got to yum yum on in exchange for their youth. a nice hotel background, or would you have preferred the sea? I almost like the hotel better, very Landgraab. I'm sure Malcolm is already preparing to take over the company. I mean who else? Johnny? As if. Anyway to the actual age up part And the actual birthday cake, so very small cake it was. The sunset here was reminding me of when sims died in The Sims 2 and Grim appeared with hula dancers, not yet Grim, not yet. (Careful with those party thing Nancy) (Insert sudden opera singing I imagine) Oh, what a lovely grandpa he makes with wrong mustache color Nancy is dazzled. truly. But it is her turn now Well, after tasting the frosting Which was gross, given this was self made cake. Oh well whatever Geoffrey: I'll catch you when you fall Nancy: fall from where? Nancy: I shall perform my transformation right here on the ground thank you very much. Nancy: Okay maybe I'll jump just a little. Geoffrey: Ow you hit my head Nancy: Nonsense. Nancy: Ow, and you didn't even catch me. Geoffrey: Oops. Geoffrey: Regardless, lets cut this cake more safely this time shall we? Malcolm: and toast to me taking over family business? And toast to Malcolm for taking over family business. To be honest, Nancy just wanted to keep toasting. Johnny: toast to my miserable life too I guess You thought its over? Obviously not. these grandpabones only got energized by the toasting and will continue to party for probably another 24 years as I struggle to kill them off for no apparent reason. Once upon a time there were 3 best friends: Travis Liberty and Summer They all met in university, during freshman summer camp. Liberty had big crush on Travis from start. Travis? Well, I think he too was quite interested in finding a girlfriend during this camp. He originally liked Summer but then decided he wants gamer gf, so he started flirting with Liberty and well, they hit it off right away. (Gotta take proof photos for bros) Summer however, had no idea of such change of heart and tried to flirt with him but Travis was no longer willing to get involved. Summer was very embarrassed by this. Actually there wasn't only 3 friends attending the camp, oh no, absolutely not. There was 4th friend, Erwin. Girls found him bit creepy, given he hardly ever left his trailer and always talked nonsense. But he and Travis got very close during camp sharing conspiracy theories. Anyway, Summer had gotten very into fishing while avoiding others in the camp and one day she caught something! It looked like a seed so she planted it. Erwin had left the camp to set up his curio shop, so meanwhile he was gone, Summer had also decided to use any food he might have left rotting in the fridge... What she found instead, was this mysterious fruit. Summer: hmm this tastes... Summer: Like MOTHER Summers plant had also grown up and due to whatever that mysterious fruit was, Summer found new energy to talk to people in the camp. Maybe too much energy. Travis found this little shady. He didn't believe just fruit could do that but ate the fruit offered by Summer anyway. But oh boy, was he wrong. Liberty woke up and found them hanging around looking really scary and tried to speak sense into them. But yes, Travis had already locked his round eyes into new snack, that awesome cake was truly looking so delicious now. Even after Travis fortunately being spit out they kept acting creepy and there was nothing Liberty had not tried. And so, after few hours it repeated, the cake was out and Travis was yet again going for it. Cheered by summer, he reached for the cake and this time... ...he didn't make it back out. ... Yes Bizarre Fruit Friends, were after that day disbanded. And Liberty was too traumatized to talk to Summer ever again.Worst Thing You've Done In The Sims 4?
What's the worst thing you've done to sim/sim household? I'd love to hear! And screen shots are always welcome aswell! Okay so there's lot going on in this screen shot lmao! Buttt.. Basically, one guy's head is a fire place that is lit, the other girl (red hair) has been in there awhile, and the reason why there is just so MANY fire place's and rugs, is well.. I was hoping for a fire to start, then in back, The grim reaper is there, and then near him is the girl whose dead, from starvation, so yeah, a little bit of lot of going on!
