Do your sims partners lack personality?

Okay, so I was just updating my sims legacy note book to add in my information from my gameplay but I’ve just realised most (if not all) of my sims partners are really one dimensional. 

I always find myself focusing on just one partners family rather than both or don’t focus on my sims partners storylines (unless it related to their relationship).

don’t get me wrong, some generations I have been able to focus on both, but 90% of the time they don’t have anything going on 😂😭
