ea app causes system to freeze completely
i can say that i have reinstalled the system at least 20 times for 2-3 weeks and almost destroyed my 2 weeks old device by hand. finally i discovered the problem and it seems to be caused by the amd driver somehow crashing because of anticheat. what can i do about it? Problem: when I start a game in the app (battlefield series 1 and 5) or when shutting down the system after playing mostly high graphics games for a long time, the screen hangs at the last moment and the system hangs without reacting to anything (only after pressing the power key for 10 sec)52Views0likes3Comments***POTENTIAL FIX FOR EA APP PREPARING TO LAUNCH***
I've just gotten off live support for the second time and the advisor has given me this recommendation, I can confirm that it has solved my issue and I am able to launch the game as normal. Solution below. For people using EA app try this - Create a new admin user for windows and launch EA app (your games and EA App should still be installed depending on which drive you installed them on) - your game should launch and play as normal. Once this is done you can go back to your main account and launch from there. It may ask you to choose a save point (Be it local or cloud save) I *don't* think it matters which BUT I did click local save because people are having issues with one drive. After this the game should launch fine. If it doesn't you may need to contact EA support.EC:105 Issue
I have recently installed FC25 on the EA App. I am able launch the game but after around 10 mins (it varies) the game crashed with error code EC:105. I have tried repairing both the game and the EA App and also reinstalling both as suggested by some forums. I have updated all of my drivers and closed any unnecessary apps/services. I have spoken to EA support with no luck. Its so frustrating to have a new game which allows you to play for a bit then crashes mid game. It makes it completely unplayable! Any support is appreciated!13Views0likes0CommentsEA App Malfunctioning and Sims 4 Crashing
If I can even get my EA to launch without it telling me multiple times that it cannot connect to the servers, my Sims 4 game will last for less than five minutes before crashing. I do not have any mods nor CC, and I have cleared my cache. I have restarted my laptop twice now, and ran the App Recovery option on the EA app. I have no idea what is going on and I am unbelievably frustrated.216Views9likes7CommentsSo many problems
So, for starters you try to report a bug through EA app, gives me an error reporting error and then the app crashes and relaunches, so that's fun to deal with. Also, I bought and paid for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, installed game, doesn't launch. I've uninstalled, reinstalled it, repaired it. Get the preparing to launch game pop up and then nothing. Having same issue with the Sims 2. I bought the legacy pack with 1 and 2, 1 launches and runs great, since update, the Sims 2 gets the preparing to launch game message and nothing, sims 2 worked fine before this update.Sims 4 and expansions GONE
I recently logged in after downloading the new EA app and my Sims games were all there and their expansions, no problem. Fast forward to today, NONE of the games are in my library. It says I own the main game, Sims 4, but all the expansion packs say I need to pay for them again. I'm very upset by this. Anyone else dealt with this or had it fixed by EA? I did send in a support ticketSolved
