My game will just stop
If I enter build mode after an hour of playing, and go back to live mode, my cursers all go away. Luckily I'm still able to save, but nothing appears around the borders, it's all blank and I have to restart the game over. I've tried going to manage worlds through save panel and it will give me a white screen when it loads. So bootyUSB DAC Disconnect + DirectX Crash when launching EA Games (BF/Madden/EAFC)
Hi everyone, I have a very specific and extremely annoying audio issue with EA games, and I would like to know if anyone else has experienced something similar. My setup: Windows 11 Intel i5-14600 KF MSI B660 Pro-A NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti GPU HyperX Cloud II headset Sharkoon Gaming DAC Pro S V2 I also own a second Sharkoon DAC Pro S V2, and both behave exactly the same The issue: Whenever I start EA titles like Madden 26, EA FC or Battlefield, my Sharkoon USB DAC completely disconnects from Windows for a few seconds and then reconnects. It is not just a short audio dropout. The device actually disappears and comes back, like it was unplugged and plugged in again. This usually happens right when the game starts or shortly after the game becomes visible. Sometimes it also happens randomly in the middle of a match. Additional problem: Whenever I try to switch to windowed mode (or sometimes borderless), the game crashes with a DirectX error. In some cases, it even freezes the entire PC for a few seconds before recovering or crashing completely. Important details: This only happens with EA games. YouTube, Spotify, Discord, FurMark, stress tests and other games are completely stable. Other USB devices do not disconnect. A HyperX USB sound card stays connected and does not have this issue. The Sharkoon DAC works normally outside EA games. I tested two identical Sharkoon DAC Pro S V2 units and both have the exact same problem. Things I already tried: Full Windows clean install Windows 11 Pro / Pro N testing Media Feature Pack installed DirectX repaired/reinstalled NVIDIA drivers tested, including older drivers DDU clean install BIOS reset/defaults Latest BIOS Different USB ports, including rear USB 2.0 USB power saving disabled Exclusive audio mode disabled 48 kHz fixed in Windows Onboard audio disabled NVIDIA audio disabled Different refresh rates and fullscreen/windowed testing CPU undervolt/stock settings tested XMP considered/tested No Discord, no Spotify, no overlays, no extra tools Tested games with zero problems: Overwatch Marathon Counter-Strike Starfield Dead by Daylight ARC Raiders Metro 2033 The strange part: The problem started suddenly. Before that, the same DAC and same PC worked fine with EA games. After that point (2 weeks ago), the issue became worse: at first the sound disconnected randomly during gameplay, and now it happens almost every time an EA game starts. Sharkoon support told me that some games can reinitialize USB sound cards and drivers when they start, and that this is caused by the game and cannot be changed by them. So my question is: Can EA / EA AntiCheat / Javelin or the EA game audio initialization cause certain USB audio devices to reset or disconnect completely? Also, were there any major updates or changes to EA AntiCheat (Javelin) or the EA App/Launcher in the last 2/3 or 4 weeks that could be related to this behavior? This really looks like EA games are triggering a USB audio reinitialization that some DACs cannot handle properly. Again: this does not happen in any non-EA game or normal desktop use. Only EA titles trigger it. Would appreciate any help, similar experiences or confirmation if this is a known issue. For reference, here is an example screenshot of the DirectX error I am getting when the issue occurs:I got double charged. Help me
I was charged twice. Please refund one of them. Please process this quickly. I kept trying. to get a refund. But the refund selection window doesn't appear. My order number is 1008381916801. Hello, I’m reaching out because I’ve been unable to launch The Sims 4 for the past 3 days. Each time I try to start the game through the EA App, it briefly attempts to launch but then immediately returns me to the EA App without any error message. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the issue and the steps I’ve already taken: Problem: Clicking “Play” in the EA App starts the launch process The game does not open After a few seconds, the EA App reappears as if nothing happened Troubleshooting steps I’ve tried: Removed all mods and custom content (clean “Mods” folder) Cleared cache for both EA App and The Sims 4 Reinstalled the EA App completely Reinstalled The Sims 4 Launched both EA App and the game as administrator Verified game files (if applicable) Restarted my computer multiple times Despite all of this, the issue persists exactly the same way. Additional info: The game was previously working without issues No recent major system changes (aside from standard updates) No visible error codes or messages appear At this point, I’m honestly stuck and would really appreciate guidance on what could be causing this or what else I can try. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, AnneEA App crashes
There's something very wrong with the EA App. I wanted to play Star Wars Battlefront 2, but after a few minutes it always crashes with the error message "Star Wars Battlefront II is shutting down. This is the result of the Origin Client being terminated." I tried everything I could find on the internet and it didn't help. So I ended up uninstalling the game and downloading it again. The problem is that either the download runs for a few minutes and then gets stuck, or the EA App crashes completely. I played Star Wars without any problems until half a year ago. Dear EA, please be so kind and fix this.SolvedApp keeps uninstalling
Since the last update a few days ago the app works untill I play the Sims 4 I save & quit game & log out like normal but then when I go to use it again it is completely missing from my game & my games are still there & when I go to website to reinstall I have the option to launch or repair & I check repair now, still does the same thing & this has happened several times now. Also new problem looks like the app updated again because now it is blue instead of orange & now I get a message that my EA pro membership has ended so games have been removed (yes I already knew this especially since it way May of last year) But you also took away my special promo games that I earned when you use to have a game for free download once a month (without EA play membership) as well as other games I have purchased thru all the years! including content I do not see listed on the app anymore! It was already on my computer & now it has been deleted by your app even though I purchased it literally years ago all with out my consent on my personal property all my Sims 3 store content has been erased too & your Sims 3 website is no longer up & running to even download it! I want all my games & content back that I purchased all those years ago. Also the add on for Sims Medieval called Pirates & Nobles bonus content I can't even get back as that was a code you had to type in when purchased the game so I am up set about this too & add on game isn't even showing on your app to reinstall it either, btw this is one of the games you are trying to get me to buy again as well as some games that I literally bought when I had EA pro membership. And while I'm at it Why does Sims 4 content still seem so empty & lacking, I hardly have any item in my game even though I own all the expansion & stuff packs as well as all the kits! Why am I missing items! It's not my computer as I have no problem on other platforms where I am also a playtester & a lot of their requirements are much more demanding than the Sims 4. As well as other programs because I like to dabble with recolors & making my own meshes from time to time, which again require more specs & space than the Sims 4 yet they run just fine. Please fix this issue as soon as possible I want my games & my content back, all of it!EA app on Mac "Something Went Wrong" pop-up Every 5 Minutes
I've updated my mac yesterday (macos tahoe 26.3) and my game but my EA app keeps on giving me this pop-up about every five minutes. Also my game will not launch, the reason being 'it's already running' even though it absolutely is not as I haven't even played it in two months. I reinstalled the game and repaired it, tried everything that could possibly fix the issue for over twenty hours but nothing worked. I use mods but before every update I always take out the mods folder and I haven't put it back in this whole time. My frustration has finally led me here in hopes that I could find a solution. Upon checking deeper I've noticed that the process 'com.ea.app.backgroundAgent' continuously respawns and the launcher believes a session is active even though I've manually tried rebooting over a dozen times. Activity Monitor shows that it's always running despite me killing it. I hope that this is relevant in any way but I'm unsure. I thought that the deletion would trigger it to detect the game is not running and would fix it perhaps. It's not my specialty. I do not think there's anything more I can do on my own to fix this.
