More and more people in ranked not participating
I’m getting more and more games (in platinum) where at-least one of my team mates is running away/not participating in team fights. This revenant was right next to us/just behind us and didn’t even help. He had been involved in constant fighting since we dropped. He was there the whole time and he had only had 39 damage the entire time. I’m not saying me and the other person were doing crazy damage but it just seems more and more I’m getting ‘rat’ team mates. Might as well be playing as a duo. Can you guys not bring in some kind of actual participation or damage RP scaling. Then you can increase the RP cost of Plat where people should be looking to fight rather than people ratting for RP. [CM - Edited to remove image]When Revenant gets his Silence back
When Revenant gets his Silence back... oh Mirage is going to Get it... and Caustic too. Wraith! matter of fact... Everybody Gets Silenced! i played Ash and noticed how similar her Snare is to Revenant's Silence. i also noticed that when you double jump, she dashes... Bangalore also "double-times" upon impact... maybe making Revenant somehow "lighter" could help? i heard an "enemy" Revenant around me once, and WOW our footsteps are heavy! i honestly assumed it was Gibraltar. i know he's not a speed demon like Octane, but Season 4 trailer gave us a stealthy, nimble, "i would have gotten a squad kill if Loba didn't escape" Legend. Lifeline has gotten a numerous amount of reworks, but it just made her More Lifeline... not every player gets Revenant and that's what made him special, and why i still choose to play him regardless. My Reasoning: the silence was perfect. everyone has their skills that's unique to them. Silence was Revenant's. i had a Silence in one hand and a Frag in the other. A great combo before a Totem push. Now Horizon and Ash are copying the swag. (i still have my Silence tracker equipped and look forward to seeing it tally up again) totem helped you AND your squad. another Revenant unique skill that helped gauge what you're up against and whether or not to commit to that fight. A knock isn't always guaranteed with each push, and ultimately i rarely use this ultimate, even if i'm getting good points. Revenant, from my perspective, is a strategic legend. He Literally climbed up a building, crashed through the window, before his attack. that, to me, was a well thought out plan. when someone has the drop on me, i need to get out asap. trying to hold R2 (Playstation Player) to load my jump leaves me susceptible to attacks and tends to result in me getting downed Quick. i just miss it, okay? Thanks for reading. cheers lol :)Diamonds being mixed in with preds…
Does anyone agree that diamonds should be mixed in with preds ? It’s almost impossible to even get out of diamond because the moment you have a decent game the next lobby is going to have atleast 2+ pred teams. Everyone knows 80% of pred lobbies cheat ESPECIALLY EA KNOWS THIS so why are we getting thrown in with these players who we simply can’t compete with? Just a terrible look for EA and disappointing for the entire diamond and even the true masters (who dont cheat). Actively letting a group of people get away with destroying their game bc EA wont ban them. Officially watching one of my favorite games die. Here is a Valkyrie rework concept.
passive: vtol jets basically she gets way more fuel and high agility thrusters, but her jetpack NEVER auto recharges anymore. when you run out of fuel you have to safely get behind cover and press a button to do a manual 2-3 second refill animation. this gives nearby enemies an audio cue to push you when you're vulnerable so you cant just spam flight blindly. tactical: drone sweep she deploys a micro drone for an aerial scan up to 75 meters, but to prevent cheap wallhacks the scanned enemies are ONLY visible on the mini map, not through walls on screen. cooldown would stay the same as live game (25 seconds). ultimate: multi lock pod (4 min cooldown) valk taps her headset and a transparent holo targeting grid pops up on your screen. you can only lock onto people if they are caught in your drone sweep, shooting their guns, or using their own tacticals/ultimates. you have to manually steer your reticle over an enemy with your flight sticks or whatever (kind of like gamepigeon archery aim physics) and keep it on them for 1 full second. youll hear a tracking progression tone until you hear a "beep beep" lock confirmation. it fires 3 missiles max but strictly capped at 1 lock per person (40 damage). the missiles will aggressively track and follow them through open doors if they run inside, but if they close a door in time, the rocket slams into the door and completely destroys it while dealing zero damage to the player. also zero splash damage so if you miss it does nothing. (basically like how conduit's old axle ult concept tracked). level 2 perks: - pilots intel: valk (and only valk) sees enemy health bars on the minimap during drone scan. - aerial expert: (Whatever it is rn) level 3 perks: - threat lock: reduces ultimate hold time to 0.75 seconds. - rapid sweep: reduces drone cooldown by 5 seconds. let me know what you guys think, open to criticisms and suggestions!35Views1like3CommentsWildcard problems
I tried to stay away from the collab wildcard after my last bad experience with it, but I decided to try it again tonight. My shots did absolutely no damage at all. I got some good head shots in with the triple take with the scope, and emptied a whole mag of the prowler and the volt into several enemies in another match, and they took absolutely no damage at all. You could tell the shots hit too since it made the sound as if they did. Then, everyone who knocked me did so with a melee attack and not a gun shot. Also, almost all enemies I was running from would periodically turn invisible, but you could see a faint outline of their gun while they were running. I should have won this match with all the good shots I got in, the team that won was horrible and had no clue how to do good positioning or anything, all they did was punch people with melee attacks while taking no damage. What is going on with wildcard? Has anyone else noticed these issues? Are these special hidden skills that are part of the mode (invincibility, melee one shots, etc) or was I just in a booster/hacker match. Also, I'm not a sore loser, my win rate is nearly 20% the last two seasons, which for me is pretty good. So, I don't understand why I have so many matches like this when I used to do pretty well in legit wildcard lobbies. Anyone have an idea what was going on in this match? I know I made a similar post last week, but this was much different. The whole match was like this this time and it wasn't just a few players, and I haven't had a match where all bullets registered nothing at all damage wise since the season 20 bugs.11Views0likes0CommentsMythic weapon skins
I would like to provide feedback regarding Mythic weapon skins in Apex Legends. First, I want to say that Mythic skins are some of the highest-quality cosmetics in the game. They’re visually impressive, have unique animations, and require a significant investment to obtain. Many players spend close to $200 or more to unlock a single Mythic cosmetic through Apex Packs or other collection methods. Because of that, these items are marketed and perceived as premium, exclusive rewards. My concern is that when a player carrying a Mythic weapon is eliminated, anyone—including complete strangers on the enemy team—can immediately pick up that weapon and enjoy all of the premium visual effects and animations without ever owning the skin. I understand the idea behind letting players experience these cosmetics, and I think it’s a fun feature when you’re playing with friends or teammates. Sharing premium cosmetics with your squad can create memorable moments and encourage other players to purchase them. However, allowing enemy players who just eliminated you to use the exact same premium cosmetic feels different. From a customer perspective, this reduces the sense of exclusivity that comes with purchasing a high-end cosmetic. Part of the appeal of a Mythic item is that it represents a personal investment and achievement. When anyone who defeats you can instantly use it for free during the rest of the match, it can make that investment feel less special. A few possible alternatives could be: Allow teammates and pre-made squad members to use Mythic weapon skins when they pick up your weapon. Give owners the option in the settings to disable skin sharing with enemy players. Restrict Mythic weapon effects so only the owner and their teammates can use the full cosmetic experience, while enemies see the default weapon appearance after picking it up. This approach would preserve the social aspect of sharing cosmetics with friends while maintaining the premium value and exclusivity that many players expect after spending a substantial amount of money. This isn’t about preventing other players from enjoying cosmetics entirely. It’s about giving paying customers more control over premium content they purchased and preserving the value of some of the rarest items in the game. Thank you for continuing to improve Apex Legends and for considering feedback from players who support the game through cosmetic purchases. Why did they put real players back in bot royale?
I wasn't sure until tonight, but real players are back in bot royale evolved. I was in a gunfight and did a jump down from a platform as Ash and did an arch through the air to make it difficult to track me. These players were using movement tech and one perfectly tracked me as I did a ghost strafe and fall from a high place. Even players in ranked would have trouble tracking me when doing a maneuver like that, they would have to wait for me to hit the ground before shooting. These were definitely real players. It would take the reflexes of someone like Hal or Timmy to make a shot like that. Also while hiding before the gunfight I noticed they were at the loot box equipping higher attachments for their guns, and it was as if they were communicating agreeing to let each other have the better items while one stood back and let the other equip. This is not bot behavior. If EA is intending on no real enemies, is it possible hackers are somehow getting beyond the system or maybe the system is malfunctioning still letting real players in as enemies using some of the code from the previous version of bot royale evolved? If I'm wrong and this is actually bots just programmed well with ingenious AI, then they are awfully good bots and they desperately need an easy, medium, hard option for bot royale. Hello Respawn Team and Apex Legends Community, I am writing this post on behalf of the passionate and growing Apex Legends community in Turkey. Apex Legends is one of the most played competitive FPS games in our region, yet our player base faces several hurdles that affect our overall experience and engagement with the game. Here are the main challenges faced by Turkish players: Lack of Language Support (Text & UI): Despite the huge player numbers in Turkey, Apex Legends still lacks official Turkish text and interface support. Navigating menus, understanding intricate legend abilities, reading lore updates, and tracking event descriptions can be challenging, especially for younger or non-English speaking players. Absence of Turkish Voiceover (Dubbing): Legend interactions and battle calls are vital parts of Apex Legends’ gameplay and narrative charm. Having voice lines localized in Turkish would significantly enhance immersion and make tactical audio cues much clearer for local players during intense fights. Localization & Regional Pricing: While gameplay remains top-tier, regional economic differences make purchasing Apex Coins, Battle Passes, and cosmetics increasingly difficult for Turkish players without localized pricing models. Community Potential: Turkey has a highly competitive gaming culture with millions of active gamers, content creators, and esports enthusiasts. Providing official localization would not only show appreciation for this loyal player base but also drive higher engagement, retention, and growth in the region. We fully understand that adding a new language—especially full voice acting—requires time, resources, and continuous maintenance. However, even starting with official text/UI localization would be a massive leap forward and a strong signal of support to the Turkish community. We love Apex Legends and want to see it thrive in our country. Thank you for your time and consideration!
