New Ranked Mode

I would rather get matched to a pair of random hot droppers in EVERY SINGLE MATCH than have my choice of drop removed.

Now you can win/lose based skill vs luck in a hot drop. 

I couldn't agree more. I've had the most fun playing Ranked since Season 2. I'm almost in Platinum. Apex is on a better trajectory and I hope the game continues to evolve. The devs need to focus on positive feedback and ignore the trolls. 

All Ranked needs now is the...... "STAY WITH TEAM" feature. Otherwise its still a troll fest (just less than before). Shouldn't take 6.5 years to get such a feature.

Team fighting and playing together is so important now. If a players runs around by themselves they'll just run into another team. I play with my teammates every game, right or wrong. 

TBH - I did try to do me and focus on winning once, but it's better to stay with your team at all times with this new setup. I got punished for trying to solo my way to a win. After being ambushed I went back to playing with my team. ITS THAT SIMPLE.

Reconzero, we had a long debate 3 months ago about this. First of all, you stated that you don't even play Ranked as much. You said you prefer Bot Royale. You bashed me for caring about Ranked changes that the devs were, obviously, working on before our debate.

I knew the old drop ship would be removed eventually when the devs introduced the LTM (I can't remember the name). I didn't prefer that LTM either, but the current drop method is better for Ranked play. Overall, Ranked has to be aligned with the ALGS as much as possible. Just as much as little league football has to be aligned with the NFL, or any other sport/activity. Apex is a F2P COMPETITIVE shooter. It's that simple.

Can you explain? They rigging matches? How so? 

I'm gullible so please don't lie to me. 

Oh, there a numerous things how Respawn rigged the playfield in the past, a textbook example is the overpowered Aim Assist they only changed after the R5Reloaded Stats exposed the unbalance in raw numbers, but the op AA  was known for years  and Respawn deliberately did nothing to change it.
Dont get me started on the Matchmaking.
And preselecting a team to a certain dropspot which is hard to defend , putting the best enemy teams around that dropspot seems like a nice way to rigg the outcome of a game, and you would not even be able to prove it.

Premade Team on E District and we were send to drop at the same deadly dropspot which can be (and was) invaded by two teams at once 4 times in a row ... 
Similar Stuff also happend  on broken moon and storm point.

If you only  look at the patents those big companies come up with, its a nobrainer to expect them rigging huge chunks of the game.
Its their employees coming up with the ideas behind those patents, they dont fall out of the skies by themselves.
And Employees in the know usually keep their mouth shut, those NDAs are nasty.

Oh ok... I see things a little differently in those regards. I personally can't vilify EA/Respawn regarding those topics because I'm not that informed. I just play the game in between chores and daily activities. I just want to have fun and be a good teammate. :-)

If you define "skill" as "aim," then sure, shooting is all that matters. But if shooting is all that matters why aren't we all playing CoD or Halo? Or mixtape, for that matter? But I'm here to tell you that just because most players couldn't make a good drop if their lives depended on it... does not mean there is no skill involved in choosing a drop. Or rotating to a new position. Or holding it once you get there. That's why I like this game: there is so much more to it than aim. Or at least there used to be.
