Careers bug!
I wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue as I can't find anything online about this particular glitch I'm having! So when my Sim gets a career I can't complete daily tasks. This happens if they work from home or go to work. I do the task ... but it doesn't complete so it just sits there forever. It's driving me crazy and I don't know how to fix it! Please help :) Thank you
Nature's Calling week 2 aspiration was not completing due to delay triggering
I was stuck on week 2. I really don't like when I have to change my character's aspiration anyway, but under Nature aspiration I planted multiple plants (didn't even trigger the 3 things planted) and eco one that triggered one thing but when I voted on neighborhood thing it didn't trigger at all (see image attached!). No mods. Restarted multiple times. Cleared cache. Made sure downloads were up to date, currently on Version 1.116.223.1030 - just wanted to give heads up that it wasn't triggering on these two, but I finally got it to trigger on crystal crafter table after 4 tries purchasing the table (with restarts each time) and 3 ring gifts before it would complete this step. Not sure what the issue is, but buying the table shouldn't take that many attempts and the other steps should have triggered or finished as well.
Sims not moving
my game is freezing but not like it completely stopping. sims will let me play for a little bit, about 5 mins, but after that when i tell my sims to do something they wont. they just stand in place but their body will still move around. also my time in game will freeze. once this happens it wont close or save the game resulting me in having to restart my computer so i can close ea. i do have CC and Mods so this may be the problem but if so i have no idea on how to fix.
So many issues - Menu, locking up, what's up?
Hey all - Since the last download/update, my menu buttons are all jacked up. There are no icons / no normal drop downs. I've reinstalled but nothing is helping. If I go into build mode, once I'm out of build mode - I have to restart because all menu buttons vanish and the game just stalls. If I try to interact with an item, craft an item, etc. the game stalls and I have to restart. I've disabled mods / deleted mods, tried straight vanilla. The game is not playable at this point. Suggestions?
Random money appearing in my household!?
Okay so I'm lowkey not complaining but I'm just confused. So my sims have been struggling with money but I finally got them to the 44k they needed to move and so they had like 2k after moving. I got them up to like 8k i think and then randomly they have 28k? I'm really confused because they shouldn't have anymore than 10k. Is anyone else having this issue?
Can’t play sims 3
There is no way that I have had this game for so long and then the moment that the Sims 4 comes out I can no longer play the game that I spent so much money on this is a rip off. We need to come with a solution of fixing the game or EA or Sims need to refund us all our money back from these games that we have purchased. It’s no way that I reinstalled uninstalled this game. Finally got to play it, did all of this stuff for hours went to save it came back and now it’s saying that it’s an error with the worlds . I have tried everything something has to give and we need to come up with a solution.
Sims bottleneck at lot boundary
Some of my child sims keep circling for at least an hour in game time at the lot boundary when they go to school leaving a visible circle in the sand where they've been doing it. I've seen all four of the children circling at once aswell. Their icons show them already being at school but they're not. Is this a bug or by design?Game crashing randomly
I have recently purchased a new laptop and reinstalled TS3 on this from my old discs. The game itself runs beautifully, loads quickly, no lag, great graphics. However, it will crash for seemingly no reason at some point in every single game and I cannot fathom why. There's no error message, it will just crash to desktop. Things I have tried so far, in no particular order:- Reinstalling the game completely Removing my entire mods folder to play a vanilla game Starting a new game in Sunset Valley to test Applied the Alder Lake patch (Lazy Duchess) Applied the Smooth patch (Lazy Duchess) Limited FPS to 60 Lowered game graphics Applied the GPU Mod (from Nexus Mods) Applied a 4GB patch Running the game as an administrator Running the game in Windows 8 (and then 7) compatibility mode Ensured Windows is up-to-date Ensured my graphics driver is up-to-date The issue persists. The only thing that possibly seemed to improve the matter is trying the brand new Sunset Valley save, as I was able to play this for far longer without a crash than previously (a couple of hours versus 20 - 30 minutes). The only pattern I can discern is that the crashes seem to happen in world view. Is there anything left I can try?! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help! DxDiag attached.
