Will we ever get a ragdoll update
First of all I don't mind the ragdoll physics, it can be more brutal than in skate 3 but your character just goes limp and your legs curl up, in skate 3 your character will flail around and try to break the fall with their hands and in this game your character just accepts their fate and breaks the fall with their face.The flick it visualiser is bugged
The flick it visualiser has glitches for the past month where the thing is a square instead of a circle and it's like doubling my flick it sensitivity making manuals impossible and challenges and 99% of other tricks just not possible because the game keeps mistaking everything as in thw wrong spot or just and ollie
reSKATE's FIRST PERSON MODE
Devs, I'm not gonna' lie. I've been begging for First Person since I started playing. ReSkate has it first try. Also Skate 3 map, skate 2 map, etc. San Van night.. There's SO MUCH THEY BROUGHT TO YOUR GAME, HOWWWWWWWWW? I'm trying not to go and download RESKATE so PLEASE COMPETE! If you bring First Person to SKATE4 I will never need to download ReSKATE for the experience.
How *Skate* can respond to *Reskate*
As a PS5 player, I don't have access to *Reskate*, but I completely understand the hype surrounding it. A counter-move—and, above all, a gesture of good faith to restore *Skate*'s reputation—would be to: Implement the maps (or at least the best locations) from previous titles, include a day/night cycle (or even other times of day like morning or evening), and provide access to all cosmetics from past games (clothes, boards, etc.)—all for free. That would be a strong, ideal initial response to win back the community; after that, you could proceed with seasons and updates as you have done since the beginning of *Skate*, if you see fit. Is it possible to transfer progress between accounts/platforms?
I've been using EA Play as my main way of booting skate on my PC since I was first invited on, but I've been told to try using steam instead. The switch has been great performance-wise, as I'm no longer locked to 25fps and everything is loading faster now. My one snag is that it's a new account, which means all my progress is no more. Is there a way to transfer progress and merchandise from my EA Play account to my Steam account, or am I screwed on this front?
Cosmetics Suggestion: Football Jerseys
With the launch of EA FC and its The Grounds area, it suddenly occurred to me: wouldn't it be sick to have a crossover cosmetics drop in-store with some top tier football club jerseys? It's quite common in skate culture now to wear (vintage) football jerseys. Could be a fun way to use the EA ecosystem to its full potential.
