Soulless
This game is to the first 3 Skate games, what Greta Van Fleet is to Led Zeppelin. The skeleton is there, but there’s no meat, there’s no soul, there’s no culture. This feels like it wasn’t made by real people, but instead you put the first 3 Skate games into a computor and then told it “make this as bland, cookie-cutter, and SAFE as possible”. Skate and Skate 2 were so laser focused on paying genuine respect to skate culture, that this new game feels like i’m riding around an episode of Teletubbies. Not even addressing the game breaking bugs, glitches, the abhorrent visual style, the lack of decent customization options…. All you had to do was make a faithful Skate successor. “Oh but it’s not a sequel tho!” Ok then don’t call it “Skate.” Use your brains, i waited 15 years for this, and this sucks at the moment. Hello, Today while I was playing skate, I was doing slappy’s farewell mission. This mission was loads of fun apart from the fact that as I finished the mission scheduled maintenance happened and because of that, the next time I loaded up the game I’m now bugged on the end of slappy’s farewell mission. I cannot progress the story any further because of this and I constantly keep getting the last dialogue of slappy on the 9/9 story completion for that mission. Please fix this I just want to play skate. This game is so much fun but I can’t progress any further because of this block. I just wanted to play today but can’t… please fix asap cause if it bugged me for this then there’s probably a bunch of other people that it’s also bugged for. attempts to fix this myself: restarted my game a dozen or more times. disabled cross play then reloaded. Enabled cross play then reloaded. Played other challenges to try and refresh. Nothing is working. just a suggestion: maybe allow the ability to restart a mission your on? It allows for the user to troubleshoot instead of having to come on the forums and pray I get an answer within a reasonable time frame.Still stuck on tutorial for skate!
Been waiting so long to play. One of the first to download it today and yet one of the last to get to play because I am stuck trying to place a marker when it won't let me. Everyone is having the same issue and yet it hasn't been fixed. I can't reset the game and make a new character and start over, or skip the tutorial so we are all just stuck. Yay.
Progression glitch at the first mission
stuck at the “Support Your Local. Check out the extravert skate shop” I go into the shop, vee tells me the hottest drops thing, and then nothing else, i leave the shop, the marker is still there, but the objective is gone, and i go skate around and she says “cool but go visit the shop once ur done” fix this please. Also the settings are bugged, it’s stuck on accessibility and keeps making clicking noises
