Where's Vee?
I play skate. on PC (Windows 11) and Xbox One, and I'm one of the few players who cares about Vee, the in-game commentary bot that most players hate, but I always enjoyed her personality and the funny random lines she used to say. But since Season 3 released (I am writing this in June, after Season 4), I noticed some things with Vee. I only noticed it yesterday. After Season 3, she was talking less. She didn't really give a lot of her old funny lines, like the ones with the nonsense and random lore. This was the first step into it. Then, after I updated to Season 4 in June, she disappeared completely, both on the Xbox and PC. Then I paused the game, went to the game settings > General to see if the game automatically disabled Vee for some reason, but I didn't even find the Vee toggle. I swear before Season 3, there was a toggle to disable/enable her on all platforms. I liked Vee, and I'm not writing this to betray the players who hate her, so there should still be a toggle. Another thing I noticed is that the NPCs (pedestrians) have toned down. They used to make funny moments and act stupidly and drop random complaints, but now they just walk around normally and drop reasonable complaints or just dodge the skater with no dialogue. Actually, I noticed that I rarely see NPCs anymore. I’m not sure if this was intentional or if something broke during the Season 3 update. If Vee was removed on purpose, it would be helpful to know. But if this is a bug, I wanted to report it because it affects the personality of the game a lot. Once again, others may disagree with me, and that's completely acceptable. It just makes me a little concerned.Tattoos
Please can we have multiple tattoos per limb and tattoos and slots for back chest neck and face? Its such an outdated thing to not allow more than one tattoo. There are so many nice tattoos now id like to piece them together like you can in the ufc games -sincerely an old U.S. soldier that's been playing since skate 2007Minor details to sort out and a few suggestions
As EA_Cuervo suggested in another thread, here are a few minor issues that could be fixed, along with some suggestions from me. First, regarding the EA forum, no matter how many times I choose an avatar, it always disappears, replaced by the default gray smiley face… In the game, even though I disable my character's voice, it's always active every time I launch the game. Finally, as a suggestion, I'd like the ability to position/resize stickers on the board and also use them on clothing, as well as the ability to wear a cap upside down or right side up, features that were present in previous skate games. Maybe being able to put 2 (or more) tattoos on the same body part. Alternatively, in the same vein, I could suggest band t-shirts (from bands featured in the game or not). I'm thinking specifically of the Slayer t-shirt that was available in Skate 2 (or 3, I can't remember; I recreated it, as well as other metal bands, using the editor and the sadly defunct sharing site "SkateFluckIt"). also release t-shirts from other metal bands (I have too many examples to list them all here). Just in case... Peace!Let's take a lesson from others before us ... Combos are possible
I would like a 3 to 5 second timeer to continue my line score as I step of the board and step back on to start another ride over the obstacles I have created. Or possibly a point system for the " parkour " that I perform in between a "line" as it is defined in the games instructions. Please keep the strive for greatness thank you all who are still working on it. Love love love.Criticism, and a request to fix bugs. :(
Dude, this game is actually good, it's fun, but what REALLY ruins it are the bugs, man, the game's physics are awful, I can't even play a normal game without getting caught up in the game. There's a bug where, when the skateboard is vertical against a wall, when I jump, I literally go flying into the sky. **bleep** it, man.Wow great start... Let's find a zen here....
There is just not enough communication between skaters and the actual team developing this game... Along with many other opinions and restrictions that come with this day and age... Culture you have made a shock and the artist that you have hired are doing great work but it's just not connecting enough to the community that really values this gameplay.. the focus that you have on the game play towards giant jumps and huge scores has blinded the community from being taught anything from the people who really appreciate the fundamentals that this game has to offer and the developers that made that possibility. Possible. Deserve to be appreciated much more than this.. so please focus more on the grit I feel like the older players that you have in your community have been neglected. Their opinions ideals and appreciation has been damned compared to how much that you love the children that play your game and that only want to stimulate themselves and not find any further teachings from all day your team has to offer.. please consider the grit as a book for the younger generation to read not an enemy or something to infatuate Younger mind and get their parents to spend money.. it should be more freedom of speech as for you wanted it to be connected to the real skater community which does not have prejudice and it does not consider these activities as a part of itself. yes stay separated. But use this platform to inspire someone. How black box did....Stop.... listen...
We are having problems with the team. They are presenting enough to use on a play please schedule an update 14 in advance instead of just 7 days ... That way you can update social media and have time to fix bugs and glitches.. I do believe at this point.. the team needs more time to work on many variables that come with the community currently committed to the project. Thank you full time circle and other constituents... I'm blessed if you consider this comment this time for you. And Godspeed to your game
