Racenet 2026?
Are we going to get an updated Racenet for the 2026 cars? It only shows the 2025 Time Trial performance at the moment. Frustratingly, Racenet seems to be a really neglected feature for the game. It should be capable of so much more, and a lot of third party developers are putting Codemasters/EA to shame when it comes to using UDP features and telemetry. SimRacingSetups, P1 Telemetry and so many more apps provide users with even more telemetry detail than Racenet currently does, and they do it for every single session, not just Time Trail. P1 Telemetry even records every lap for every driver in the session for comparison. It provides you with really useful information on your tyre wear, fuel usage, ERS deployment behaviour, grip/G-force levels/steering input, and even analyses laps and tells you exactly where you are gaining and losing time. It shows a complete statistical breakdown of the entire race. This is all information that is readily available from the game's UDP Telemetry data. For 2026, it is more vital than ever to be able to see how and why your driving, deployment and LICO strategies are contributing to your laptime and race performance. This information is right there in the game, and yet it is being wasted by the developers. Can we look at expanding Racenet to all sessions? This would be a fantastic tool for Career modes and league racers to be improving their pace. It should be a great feature for practice sessions, especially since Time Trial is no longer relevant to race performance. I would even be happy to pay a subscription for this in the app. The other developers are charging for it, so why are Codemasters/EA leaving revenue on the table?Mouse Steering for PC Players
I would like to suggest adding mouse steering support to F1 25, similar to the system used in Assetto Corsa Competizione. Adding mouse steering could provide several benefits: More precise steering compared to keyboard inputs Better accessibility for players without wheels or controllers A smoother driving experience for casual and competitive PC players Many PC players do not have a steering wheel, and keyboard steering is often too digital and difficult to control smoothly. Mouse steering would allow much more precise and smooth steering inputs, making the game more accessible for players without a wheel or controller. Assetto Corsa Competizione already has a very good implementation of mouse steering that feels natural and controllable. Adding a similar option in F1 25 would greatly improve the driving experience for PC players. I believe this would significantly improve the PC gameplay experience and attract more players who currently struggle with keyboard controls. Thank you for considering this suggestion. Is the Iconic Edition DLC not available Anymore?
I also started playing My Team today and I wanted to get Nikola Tsolov, but when J go to DLCs on Steam, there isn’t an option to buy the Iconic Edition DLC. Is there anybody who can help? This is what I see when I go on Steam. This is on my phone, but my computer steam shows the same thing.something yes something we are not there
We are close to reality for the battery issue but for the rest there are no bugs. If you enter the time trial it gives you realistic even if you have selected even. We are faster than real cars by a lot, the flick is still there and it is also a lot. Wear is still preset. I repeat that if one blocks it must have greater wear and also loss of delta at that moment......tracks like Spain not updated, the ers continues to drop quickly for a few seconds too fast after you activate the boost. You could have tried to implement a nice live dg or Vento marbles graining but nada. Update the regulation cuts after 3 exits at 4 5sec not 3.F1 Hotseat Evolution: Driver Swaps for Offline, LAN & Online!
Hey everyone,I want to pitch a concept that evolves the legendary 90s "Hotseat" mechanic from Grand Prix 2 into the ultimate multiplayer experience. We need a flexible driver-swapping mode supporting Offline, LAN, and Online play, complete with the tactical features that made it so addictive back then. The Core Mechanic & Deep Features:Multiple players share a race by taking turns driving different cars on the fly. While you aren't driving, the AI controls your car. To replicate the pure fun of the original, two key mechanics are essential:Qualifying Setup Strategy: Players configure their own custom car setups during qualifying. It was always incredibly exciting to see how well the AI performs with your specific setup and what lap times the computer manages to pull off using your custom tweaks while you watch.Customizable Swap Intervals: You can pre-determine the exact number of driver swaps during a race (e.g., 2, 3, 4, or more). This guarantees that every player gets to jump back into the cockpit multiple times per race, creating a highly dynamic and intensely fun experience. The Three Ways to Play:PURE OFFLINE (Couch Co-op): You and your friends sit in front of a single PC/Console. No extra hardware needed—just pass the controller/wheel and enjoy a full offline championship together.LAN PLAY (Local Network): Connect multiple PCs via LAN. Different groups can use the hotseat system on their own rigs and race directly against other setups in the same room.ONLINE MULTIPLAYER (Global Lobbies): Connect to the world. Your local couch-coop group plays via hotseat, but you compete live over the internet against other local groups around the globe. What are your thoughts on bringing back this tactical "Multi-Swap" approach? Would you play this with your friends on a weekend? Let's discuss! When will we see proper gameplay?
Will the embargo on YouTubers be lifted before 4pm on Launch Day? It is a little concerning that we are not being shown any actual raw gameplay footage before launch. That usually means there is something to hide. Would it not have been good marketing to let the YouTubers start showing their Career/My Team races and gameplay footage to build some hype and get F1 2026 Season Pack trending? I'm yet to even see it pop up on the Xbox Store. Im sure EACM want as many people to buy it as possible. Why is everything so quiet? Even this forum is a bit of a ghosttown. As a league owner, I want it to shift a few copies too so we have a wider pool of drivers to attract to our league. SDG Racing League - Discord HERE!Are you a slow driver looking for a competitive league?
Sounds ridiculous, but SDG Racing League is looking for some slow-medium paced drivers to fill a new Tier. We are a very experienced and well run league that averages 19 drivers on a grid each week and rarely need to issue a post race penalty. Our drivers race hard, but respectfully and within the rules thanks to a tough penalty points system. We welcome all skill levels. All we ask for is clean racing! One of the things we do VERY well is stat tracking for every single driver. Last season we had a fairly competitive Tier, but noticed a group of slower drivers that were some way off the pace. They never gave up and raced to the chequered flag each week a lap down, and we would like to recruit some drivers to fill a new tier to allow these guys a chance to compete for podiums and wins with drivers of their skill level. As an example, some of these slower guys are lapping Silverstone Time Trial in the 1:28's with our faster guys in the 1:26-27's. So if you are a slower paced driver (we allow assists) and you want to get into competitive league racing, but you are put off by the pace of some leagues, come and check out SDG Racing League!! Obviously if you are a faster driver looking for easy wins, we really do have the stats to expose that quickly! Faster guys are welcome too! We have a very competitive top tier as well! HiEA_Groguet , from your topic https://forums.ea.com/blog/f1-games-game-info-hub-en/ea-sports-f1%C2%AE-franchise-announcement/12933915 what does exactly mean “new cars, sporting regulations, teams, and drivers” for 2026 DLC? I mean, I guess the game will keep the current handling etc. but what about the new engine? Is it included in “sporting regulations”? Cause it will have less power IRL, will be in the game too? And what about DRS, will be removed and changed with the new system? So the cars will have different performances? Especially if yes, are you planning to “add” a new section meaning we may play both F1 25 as it is currently plus DLC 26 like it is now F1 - F2 etc? For example another specific Time Trial section for DLC 26? Or once DLC is installed will overwrite the game features? Or am I going to the wrong direction meaning the DLC will just include aesthetic changes but keeping exactly the same cars performance (under the hood)? Thank you in advance, if you can tell us more info at this stage… NuvSolved
