The Sims 3 is unplayable....
I recently came back to The Sims 3, but unfortunately I keep running into constant issues. The game keeps freezing, and even when it launches, I get this message: "It looks like you have installed a game modification that is not compatible with your current version of The Sims 3." I just reinstalled everything with all DLCs, and I can’t even click OK or close the error — it just gets stuck there. Please fix the game and update it for modern hardware. It’s ridiculous that over the years you’ve managed to break the game this badly — and the EA app as well. We paid for this, and IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!! (P.S.: I have NO mods installed at all, nothing. Everything used to work fine before. Specs: i7-9700K / RTX 2080 Ti)26Views1like0CommentsPlaying Sims 4 with mods on external hard drive 2026
Hi! I have never been on a forum before so I apologize for all the things I do wrong. I want to find out how the best way to play Sims 4 through an external hard drive works. Everything I can find is still using origin and players are saying it’s different. Can someone please tell me the correct hard drive to buy and how to actually do it? Thank you!Avoid Sims 3 damaging my pc? (Mac)
Hi all, I've read on other threads that the optimisation, outdated settings, unrestricted FPS, etc of Sims 3 could cause damage to your pc over time. My last 2 laptops both ended up with the same problems with the battery and connectivity and the Sims 3 was the only heavy app I used so I want to do everything I can to protect my laptop this time I saw posts about restricting the FPS but I couldn't find any way to do it on Mac/Macbook. If anyone has any advice on doing this, and the best things to do/download/etc to optimise the game and avoid any problems I'd appreciate it 🙂28Views0likes1CommentSims 3 won't open as well as the launcher itself?
I purchased Sims 3 from the EA app a few hours ago along with almost every single expansion and add-on available to me, but when I try to play from the EA app, it won't launch. The EA app minimizes for a second and then reopens? Nothing is different. There's no Sims 3 file in my Electronic Arts folder, so I know it's not even launching, but I don't know what to do! I uninstalled/reinstalled, repaired game files, uninstalled it and reinstalled it on a different drive, and restarted my PC. Any suggestions are appreciated!252Views0likes12CommentsStuck in L2 and R2 grab on pc

Sometimes while gaming I use a Notabrick brand Bluetooth speaker connected to my PC via USB Bluetooth adapter. I am gaming on Steam using Windows 10s latest version. Today I launched the game with my speaker connected with Bluetooth. Game launched to the main menu and audio was playing normally. I initiated Start on the main menu and the game began to load into a server. When the loading icon stated "Configuring", all audio ceased on my system, including the Skate game, and all other applications (Spotify and Discord) I experimented with a second USB Bluetooth adapter, and a SoundCore Bluetooth speaker, and got the same result as before, even with relaunching game, and restarting PC. I concluded that the game is interfering with Bluetooth audio connections.81Views0likes2CommentsBest non-gaming laptop for the sims 4
Hi! I’ve recently been looking for a non-gaming laptop that is suitable for the sims 4, with mods, cc and the game packs. Is having a non-gaming laptop the best? Or is it best to have a gaming laptop? As I would like to have a non-gaming one for school work as well. Thank you!388Views0likes12CommentsCan I play The Sims 4 on my laptop?
Hi, I have a question about whether I can play The Sims 4 on my laptop or not. I have a Lenovo Ideapad 17,3 I3- 1215U. According to the system requirements on the EA website, my laptop meets the minimum requirements. Only the video card I’m not sure about. I have only the base game installed and I have no mod’s and cc. I play no other games on that laptop. Besides for The Sims, I use my laptop for typing, e-mail, internet and watching You Tube video’s. I looked up information on google and everything that I can find there, say’s that my laptop should be able to run The Sims 4, although on low-minimum settings. It say’s that I should be able to play it even with a few expansions packs, and that I would get a problem if I would have all the expansion packs or cc and mods. But at the computer store where I bought the laptop, they say that nowadays, to be able to play games, you should have a gaming laptop. I just think that isn’t true, because all the information I find say’s different. They say my laptop doesn’t have a video card, so I can’t play The Sims 4 on it. I think it’s probably true that I don’t have a video card, but on the internet it say’s that my laptop has a integrated Intel UDH Graphics, and that I’m able to play the game with that. (This is what it say’s on google. I’m not sure what video card/graphics I have). I would appreciate it if someone can help me find out whether my laptop can run The Sims 4 or not, at least the base game. I would like to add a few expansion pack’s, but it is not necessary. If it’s possible, I would like to add ‘Cats and dogs’, ‘Seasons’ and ‘Cottage living’. Thanx in advance.
