Testing cheats true messing up mouse sensitivity
I removed my mods so it’s not the mods I removed overlays I’ve done everything and I’ve noticed that the second I turned testing cheats on the mouse sensitivity is so high that the game is unplayable . In CAS I can’t create a sim anymore because any slight movement makes a huge difference to the sim. I can’t edit them anymore. And in live mode the second I twist the camera it just goes in a huge circle each time. And when I try to turn testing cheats off , it doesn’t do anything I have to completely restart the game . Also I like playing with cheats, it’s sooo annoying. Is there anything I can do to fix thisss?Packs i own show up as "Not Installed"
After the new update that brought the new event from Lady Brighterton i cannot play with packs anymore. I restarted the game, my PC emptied my Mods Folder and it still shows up as "Not Installed" and at the moment i don't know what to do and what to expect. Can someone please help me out so i can continue playing my saves. I would really appreciate that. Thanks you in advance!Game Crashes Entire PCs
I am completely and totally not alone on this. I have been able to see that this is happening to any user who uses an Nvidia graphics card paired with an AMD CPU for the most part. I have an RTX 5080 with a 9700X. Literally just google “the new skate game crashes my entire computer” and see what you find. This game crashes my entire computer every single time I launch it. Not just kind of crashes it, it fully resets and restarts my entire computer.. I am not alone in this, and it has not been acknowledged not a single time during bug talks at all. This issue has been persisting for over six months now and has prevented me from completely and totally playing the game. Sometimes I get lucky and it doesn’t completely crash my system, but then on next launch the cycle continues. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game more times than I can count. I have verified the integrity of all the files more times than I can count. I have reinstalled windows on my computer in hopes that it would fix the issue, but it did not. I have completely and totally reinstalled every single driver on my system in order to try to fix the issue, but this is not a me issue. This is a you issue. Since the 05/12 update the game becomes increasingly choppy and it's unplayable after a while (~15-20 minutes of free play). It happens both on Grom and San Van. The problem persists after game restart (as soon as i enter the game), but a pc reboot "resets" the issue until it happens again. The game was running fine before this update.29Views0likes0CommentsGame gives a black home screen
Hi, Since the last update, including the two fixes from the past few days, my game gives me a fully black screen when I load into the home menu. It has made the game completely unplayable. I have mods and CC; I have removed those, and it still happens. I have verified the files on steam and done a repair game on EA. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it has not fixed this. Please helpSolved487Views0likes5Comments[Solved] Sims 4 stuck on title screen during start-up
Hi, I am currenty having an issue with The Sims 4 that seemingly just happened. It was not caused by and update nor by my mods, because I've removed all of them and it happened a couple of weeks after and update (Not the most recent update). The issue is that my game just seems to kind of freeze at the title screen, the music is playing but it seems to kind of stutter so I am assuming that is also happening to the game. I have tried almost all the stuff I could find on the Internet, including: - Repairing the game -Uninstalling and reinstalling the game - Updating the EA lancher - Remove/clear the cache - Remove/rename the Sims 4 file in my documents - Starting the game in Offline mode - Disabling Overlays in the EA App and my graphics card I have even disabled/changed some audio device settings but nothing has seemed to work. Is this another bug in the Sims 4 or is it something caused by my PC (Windows 10/11, AMD Radeon RX 6600/6600 XT) Any help/suggestions would be appriciated! Thanks in advance.430Views0likes16CommentsKernel-power 41 (Cat 63)
My PC is a 2 week old build, I have had no issues playing TS4 over the past 4 days, I have easily banked 50+ hours of gameplay already. However yesterday I purchased & installed 3 packs and updated the game alongside the 150+ bug updates that were released yesterday. My game will now not run for longer than 30mins, my entire PC shuts down & I have to reboot manually. I have error code kernel-power 41, which online points me to issues with my PSU. I don't have any CC or mods. I will provide more details shortly but I am posting this in hope that others are having similar issues since the update? Maybe it's a big coincidence & my hardware is the issue, but I've heard that with these rollouts theres often some huge impacts to the games playability. And for my system to be running completely fine prior to this...? I am not hopeful. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate as I go about diagnosing & wishfully fixing this. Possible issues: Bug fix rollout has caused game crashing Hardware issue - PSU?Sims 3 won't open in Lenovo LOQ laptop
Hi everyone, I'm having a serious issue with The Sims 3 and I'm hoping someone can help me. My specs: - Lenovo LOQ laptop - Intel Core i5 (12th or 13th gen) - NVIDIA RTX 3050 - 16GB RAM - Windows 11 - Game installed via EA App The problem started when I tried to load any world (Sunset Valley, Bridgeport, etc.) and kept getting this error: "A serious error has occurred while loading [world name]. We recommend that you restart the application." While trying to fix it, I followed some advice and enabled Windows 7 compatibility mode on the TS3.exe file. After that, the game stopped opening entirely. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and also deleted the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder, but the game still won't open at all. I also installed DXVK (d3d9.dll) and Ultimate ASI Loader (wininet.dll) in the Bin folder, and created a dxvk.conf file with custom device settings. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!54Views0likes1CommentENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Listen! I am SICK AND TIRED OF DEALING WITH THIS APP AND GAME. A couple days ago I load into the game but it said I was missing packs I own. I restarted 3 times and still showing up and no I didn’t disable anything. I stopped playing for a few days and go to play today AND THIS POPS UP. What do you people actually do? I have to deal with this every other month even though I delete and reinstall the game. Now it won’t even let me do that. This company is going downhill🤦🏼♀️Sims 4 keeps on crashing after a half hour of playing
Hello, My wife has been trying to play the Sims 4 on my PC but it has crashed multiple times, even force restarted my PC. I have installed the game through Steam and my PC plays any other game fine, the temps are absolutely fine and the hardware is overkill for the SIMS (9850x3D and a 9070xt, highest temps i have gotten in any game are 65 degrees Celcius.) I have checked my drivers, which are all up to date, checked integrity of game files, and tried to research, to no avail. A friend of mine told us that "hardware that is too good makes the Sims crash" but in that case would she ever be able to play ? Or is there a workaround that i can tweak in the settings ? Thank you in advance for the help.
