Best non-gaming laptop for the sims 4
Hi! I’ve recently been looking for a non-gaming laptop that is suitable for the sims 4, with mods, cc and the game packs. Is having a non-gaming laptop the best? Or is it best to have a gaming laptop? As I would like to have a non-gaming one for school work as well. Thank you!Sync issues.
I’m looking for the folder that stores our vids. I set a trim, but the export just decided to record the entire 3 minutes and save it to my HDD. Waste of my time and that could cause issues because I’m sure the file is big… so running out of space on a live service games on Windows 11 could quickly become a nightmare with a borked computer. skate uses a lot of resources, and sync issues extend to having to manually close the app via Task Manager. if I hit the “x” it minimizes to the tray INSTEAD of closing. These dark patterns and unresolved server issues generate negativity. looking at you Full Circle and EA. Don’t be jerks, I’m serious. we’re here and we’re paying and playing... 😶Right (trick) stick is down by default instead in middle
Hello, i encountered very strange bug where my right controller stick is always down instead in middle so i can't play normally because rider is always in ollie stance, the problem persist on foot too but if i press any button the right stick visualizer would go in middle like it should be by default... i checked the controller panel and the stick is in neutral position so i guess game is recognizing the stick as pressed down but it's not... i tested ps3 and xbox360 controllers and both have same bug.397Views2likes8CommentsHelppp please
Hi guys! I moved my sims game to a hard drive a while ago, I ended up having lots of trouble with it most recently and FINALLY I was able to get it to work. I decided to buy a few more packs and now they won’t download. Correction- I had 2 expansion packs download but when trying my stuff packs it keeps pausing randomly, or saying this folder doesn’t exist. Please can someone else. I’ve done everything under the sun. I’ve changed the names, the paths, deleted, redownloaded . Deleted certain folders, cleared cache, got a new cord, tried different ports. I don’t understand this. I can’t, I’m so exhausted I’m just annoyed becuase I just spent over $60 bucks and now I can’t play the stuff I want. If there’s anybody that went through this that can help me out I’d appreciate it so much.Mouse Stops Working When Sims 4 Launches
Hello, I've seen a few discussions where people experience similar events but I have attempted to follow those guides with no success. Sims 4 on PC was working fine for me up until a few months ago, shortly after the fairy pack was released. Now, whenever the game launches my mouse is unable to move. Either using the bluetooth mouse or the mousepad does not work. I am able to click the Windows button and return to my desktop where my mouse works with no issues. If I try to return to the game, it's almost as if it loaded just a bit more but still frozen mouse. I have cleared my cache on my PC and on EA and nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, nothing. Repaired the app, nothing. I do not use mods but deleted everything regardless and nothing. I even attempted to put the game in the windowed version but that ended up freezing my entire screen. If anyone could please advise I would be super grateful. Thank you!Looking for laptop under $300 to run Sims 4

Sometimes while gaming I use a Notabrick brand Bluetooth speaker connected to my PC via USB Bluetooth adapter. I am gaming on Steam using Windows 10s latest version. Today I launched the game with my speaker connected with Bluetooth. Game launched to the main menu and audio was playing normally. I initiated Start on the main menu and the game began to load into a server. When the loading icon stated "Configuring", all audio ceased on my system, including the Skate game, and all other applications (Spotify and Discord) I experimented with a second USB Bluetooth adapter, and a SoundCore Bluetooth speaker, and got the same result as before, even with relaunching game, and restarting PC. I concluded that the game is interfering with Bluetooth audio connections.I have done everything to try and fix the lag. I have an RTX 3050 graphics card.
I have a graphics card that should be more than good to run sims 4 with ultra settings and the mods I have. I have about 12 gb of mods installed on my computer. I recently started experiencing really bad lag whenever I move the camera around with my mouse. I use sims 3 camera and whenever I move, I notice lag spikes. I will attached the DxDiag.txt file I did because I know that's asked for a lot based on the discussions I've seen in the past. Everything I have done to try and fix is: 1. Turning mods off and starting a new save with no mods. 2. Completely taking the sims 4 file out of my documents and having the game create a fresh one. 3. I've turned off antivirus, made sure nothing was running in the background, and tried the game in the windowed mode and that didn't work either. Someone please help, my favorite game is becoming a hassle to even try and play :(The devs / tech team DONT CARE!
I’ve made post in separate forum threads over TWO months ago (1st regarding the charges SVB) (2nd regarding the missing skate insider rewards) and I’ve not only never gotten a response but they’ve never commented or continued to update us on the situations. Then after 2 months someone else on the tech team not even the original bug poster, claims these issues have been resolved. Just because you fixed the bug DOESNT mean the issues resolved! We’re still MISSING things from play test insider, and the fact I was DOUBLE CHARGED in the in-game shop.Gaming laptop for Sims 4 with all packs
I'm looking into getting a new gaming laptop to play modded Sims 4 with all packs. I'd like to be able to stay under 1000 USD if possible, with a great processor and plenty of storage. Screen size isn't too big of a problem, as it will mostly stay home. Will mostly be used for Sims 4, some coding work, and maybe smaller size Steam games. Any recommendations would be great!
