Hi everyone, I'm really confused because sims 4 game doesn't seem to "find" my laptop graphics card. How can I fix this? I checked graphics settings for Sims 4 & the correct graphics card is listed.. Please help! this has been a problem for a while, here is all what i did but the problem persisted: updated my sims game, it is the latest version now checked my drivers, all up to date repaired and reinstalled the game, deleted cache updated mods, removed a few others played with no mods fully reset my game uninstalled a few expansion packs set all my graphic options as low, including resolution, textures, and laptop mode tried every possible solution, but my game still seems to crash, specifically when im scrolling from one room to the other or fast shifting my camera from one sim to the other. It freezes for a few seconds then force closes entirely here are my device information: Windows 11 HP envy laptop Intel IRIS(XE) graphics intel core i7 16gb ram, 1TB storage directX12 i used to have a laptop with the exact same requirements just less storage and ram and the game worked perfectly on it, so at this point im not sure what im missing This started to happen when sims rolled out the life and death quests Any help appreciated Thanks!What laptop to buy
Hi I’m looking at buying a laptop solely to play the sims 4 and was wondering what laptop with run it on a budget of £300 I’ve seen one for £329 which is the highest I can go I’m really not fussed on how fast the game runs just as long as I can play it any advice would be kindly appreciated as I’m hopeless with this kind of stuff as used to play it on a desktopAffordable laptop to run The Sims 4 on High - Ultra Graphics with reshade.
Hi, I'm looking for a laptop that will be able to run the sims 4 on high medium to high ultra graphics with reshade and cc plus mods and most of the add on packs. Below I attached 3 laptops I am considering, but would like to have someone who has experience or knowledge with the specs, most importantly the graphics card, to let me know whether the laptops below will be able to run the sims on the graphics settings I mentioned. A- NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050 6GB, B- NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4060 6GB, C- INTEL UHD GRAPHICS. My budget is limited, I would also like to use this laptop for my university work. Budget would be R22 000/$824-ish. Please note that I am in South Africa, and prices for our gaming laptops are usually more expensive than they would be in the UK/US.
sims 4 crashes my pc, constantly crashing
i'm not sure where else to ask for some advice on this issue, and i may need guidance on trying to figure out how to hopefully resolve this. the issue: sims 4 will crash at random times, or even crash/blue screen my pc. my pc is brand new cyberpowerpc that is meant for gaming. i only have these issues when playing sims 4, so i figured it may be a direct cause. this happens with or without mods/cc. i have tried clean reinstalls, new saves, and even reinstalling my graphics drivers. my current graphics driver is NVIDIA's geforce game ready driver version 577.00 and it is up to date. i also checked my computer for ram issues, additional driver updates, and for repairs... everything seemed fine but i could be missing something. sims 4 is also "optimized" in the graphic driver's settings, but unsure if i need to adjust something else.
Game not loading, laggning or crashing - so tired of this!
I am so tired of The Sims not working correctly. Is the game not supposed to work with CC and mods? I have a few scenarios happening to me: The gamle launches and I get to the loading screen, then it just freezes The gamle launches and I get to the start page of the game. Here there's always adds you have to close to get to your game. When I close the first add window the game freezes. Sometimes the game starts after a 10 min freeze and sometimes it keeps on freezing. Game launches and after the absout 10 min gamleplay the game crashes. While in the game, switching from build mode to all the furniture takes forever to load. I'm prob missing somthing but the game just doesn't work as it should. I keep my mods and CC updated with Curse Froge but this doesn't seem to help. Please, if you have any idéas on what to do to get the game to work again let me know.Laptop for sims 4
Hi all I am desperate to get back playing sims and have it purchased in the ea app but sadly no laptop to play on! I’m not too bothered about having loads of mods or expansion packs would probably only have 1 or 2 if I did! I just wondered if anyone could recommend a laptop for about £250 for sims? i don’t play any other games and don’t have any other need for a laptop really so can’t spend too much! I’m UK based also! thanks
the menus in my game WILL NOT OPEN
I have been trying to reach someone in customer service for some time now. But I can never get anyone to help me with this issue. For a few weeks now i have been having issues with my game and its menus opening. The game loads up fine and I get to my sims and in the beginning, everything is fine, its working and there are no issues. After a while I can't open my inventory or any more panels. I try to go save the game but the drop-down menu won't open either. I had to turn on my auto save from MCCC just to be able to save the game. If I don't have the auto save on and don't remember to save from time to time the game won't let me and I lose TONS of progress. At first it was happening here and there now today it won't let me do anything. None of my panels are opening, my drop-down menu won't work. MCCC isn't working anymore (it is up to date) I can't even open MCCC on the computer to see if the autosave is still active. I have to force close the game. I have repaired the game twice; I have restarted my whole computer. I don't know what else to do to get this fixed. It's an extreme inconvenience. I can't save when need to and I can't play the way I want because when I need items from my inventory im not able to get them. I can't even go into build mode because it freezes on that screen and i have to close the game. can't travel anywhere. Just a big bother. What else can i do to get this done? Can someone from customer service actually reach out to help get this fixed. I put in a few reports about this issue and it seems to be getting worse not better.
