•Object / Terrain proportion feels off across the map and with custom placed objects. transitions and transition skating need heavy work as a lot of mechanics are still janky or impossible. I.e footplant fly outs, stalling / grinding coping, pumping etc generative community parks are often unskateable due to previous listed problems and lack of flow or functionality. • *currency and object pricing are major turn offs*. If you buy the battle pass, you should be able to unlock EVERYTHING in that pass without spending more money. What’s up with that? •suggestions: add custom placement for board stickers, clothing graphics, tattoos (add tattoos) add a hub where players can create their own custom graphics to then upload in and slap stickers, not only on your board but, around the map too. -Maybe even graffiti tags and custom graphics for decks and clothing. (Think clans in other games or businesses in gta) the community could build their own teams, create their own online skate. magazines or compete for footy or whatever. The gripes about “no culture” being in the game are real truths. Add cruising animations, push styles / overall styles, (aggro, OG, unimpressed) Where are the board breaks? lastly, painting ramps on the sides of skyscrapers just feels like a cop out. It feels lazy and unconsidered. Let’s talk about itOld Game Revival?
There was an old iOS game created by Crowdstar Inc. called Mermaid World that was loved by many people. The company was bought by Glu Mobile which was bought by Electronic Arts (EA). I see plenty of people reminiscing and posting old photos of this game. The art was so pretty and the mermaids were beautiful. You could collect mermaids, send them out to find treasure, and decorate their living spaces. The mermaids had stats of their mood and it was truly rewarding getting one to an “ecstatic” mood. You could buy mermaids and you could also “call” mermaids. Based on their color and type they would call in other mermaids, some rare and some common. I remember the first day I got a golden mermaid I was so happy, she was so pretty. I miss this game a lot. It’s indescribable how much I miss this game and would pay or do anything to play it again. What are the chances we can get this game a revival? I can imagine it being a hit mobile game with children, teens, and adults. I believe this game has a lot of potential, and with modern advert culture I think it would thrive. How and who can I convince to get this game up and running again? Personally i am loving the game and don't necessarily have anything negative to say about it overall but.. The things i want to see added; DAY AND NIGHT CYCLE!!!!!! I cannot express this enough. As a skater myself and i am sure many other people can agree with me that skating at night time is a whole other vibe as appose to skating in day time. think about it, you could add different music to suit the night time atmosphere. use cool lighting over the map, add nighttime challenges and even the clips would go so hard... Just sayin COMMUNITY MAPS!!!! I understand that this is a feature coming to the game in the future but i really don't understand why this wasn't added to the game to begin with. people are still making community maps on skate 3 to this day and daily. it's such a fun and unique way to express creativity whilst also providing a fun place for yourself and others to skate in when or if they get bored in the main map. i have been playing the game since its release and i have explored and skated the most part of the map but i find i always end up at the same spots every time and it just leads t boredom. community parks would be a great way to cure that boredom for not only me but other people. imagine the possibilities of peoples creative brains. irl skateparks in the game. remade locations from past games, remade locations from other skate games like skater xl and session, street league maps, olympic maps the possibility is endless!!!!!! Most of all i remember when this game was announced and i can quote 'we're back. its happening' . I and others have spent 5 years waiting for this game and it still mind boggles me that its actually here and i absolutely love it i play when ever i am online or whenever i am just bored and wanna roll around. its an escape for me if i just wanna pass some time. you guys have definitely done things right with this game and i understand that it is still in early access. but i wanted to come here and put my word out there about how i feel about the game as i have seen a lot of negative comments about it and really dont think it deserves this kind of hate. Object dropper axis rotation
If possible, I would love to see the object dropper have an option to rotate the axis of an object. I use all the objects in a lot of different ways but I have to do a lot of messing around with multiply object to get a piece to rotate. It would be nice to have at some point.
HUD
I am extremely grateful for the devs allowing us to turn almost everything off with the HUD. This is a HUGE improvement when it comes to the experience some of us have. I know it’s not for everyone, which is why having options for different settings is fantastic. I enjoy settings to make it as realistic as possible (would love to see even more of that ~truck tightness, styles~ but this post will be about the HUD). I’d love to see them give us the option to turn off EVERYTHING. The pop up for session markers, floating symbols for mission markers, and fast travel points. I’d love to have a pure, relaxing, realistic way to play the game. This comes from someone who also enjoys knocking out all the missions and challenges (daily, weekly, monthly). I will hop on and knock those out. Then I want to PLAY. Cruise, find interesting lines, film them, run into other players doing the same, session. Having nothing but the environment and skaters in sight would be very appreciated.
Feature - Add lighting options for replay mode
Atleast a fill light attached the game camera (with intensity settings). I take a lot of screenshots and usually pick spots where my character is facing the sun. I want to use more darker spots for photos but they kinda look bad. With lighting option they can look better be cool if lights are objects in object dropper so they are physically in a scene - but also having adjustable lights in replay editor would be cool. Hell just a simple light attached to the camera is basically what I need for 90% of my screenshots in shadowed places
