SimCity BuildIt Entertainment Index System Ruins Progression
Dear EA Support Team, I am writing to express my deep frustration with the recent changes to the Entertainment specialization and index system in SimCity BuildIt. The new entertainment index requirements are honestly a very bad idea—they make no sense for progression and actively ruin the gameplay experience for loyal players.Specifically, almost none of the monthly Mayor's Pass or event entertainment buildings contribute to the entertainment index at all. This means that, after building the Entertainment HQ, it is literally impossible to unlock further entertainment buildings without spending huge amounts of SimCash—such as the 550 SimCash for the Football Stadium. The majority of other available buildings (Oktoberfest Funfair, Archery Competition, etc.) don't count for index and therefore stall any real progress.This system is extremely frustrating and punishes players who put time into collecting and building special event items. The index gates do not improve gameplay; they just slow everything down and force people to pay for progression. Please reconsider this pointless design and restore a fair, logical progression path for entertainment buildings so players—especially those who dedicate time to events—can actually enjoy building their cities.
How do I get rid of stars
I just manufactured 108 stars to fulfill a CoM task, and now I can't do anything with them. They show on the material storage, but not at the trade depot. Net result- I've flooded my material storage with no way to get rid of them. Also I just started to build 3 "cozy homes" and can't find what shop is supposed to be making a sleigh, wreath, or present. Santa's Workshop is not open. What the heck have you guys done???? I'm running the latest version available at the App Store- 1.72.0.148655
Everything went black
Hi all. im not really looking for a discussion but i want my problem to be fixed. I have simcity buildit for a couple of years now and since a few months my game goed black every time i try to build something. I deleted the app and that doesn't work! I paid a **bleep** of money for nice buildings and luxury things 8n the game and now i can't even play it.... please help, with kind regards MarcRegions Population Calculation Error
I am playing SimCity Buildit on iPhone 17 - latest iOS. The game is not calculating my regions population correctly. I have 5 regions and well over 4 million population. But it is reporting a blue 2.5 million. Anyway me else have this issue or am I misunderstanding how regions population works?
All service bars red
Hello, After the latest SimCity BuildIt update (November 2025), my city shows “Sims are reporting degraded service!” even though I have large surpluses of power, water, sewage and waste management. All service bars show red (!) and my happiness and population dropped drastically. The issue appears on all my devices (iOS), and I’m logged in via an EA account. I already tried restarting, logging out/in, and reinstalling the app — nothing helps. It looks like a bug introduced in the newest version. Please fix or let me know if there’s a workaround. Thank you!
