Sleek Bathroom Kit not showing up in add-ons
Purchased the Sleek Bathroom Kit for my Mac but it's not showing up in downloads or add-ons. EA app has kit listed as if I haven't purchased it but I received a purchase confirmation email from EA. Last night I keep getting inconsistent "Error:0" messages rendering the game incapable of saving (but then sometimes it would work), "Unable to connect to server" to upload to my gallery (but sometimes it would work), and some other crazy-**bleep** message about EA checking for game updates in the background for new stuff. I repaired my game, removed all my mods, cleaned out every cache, and when I go to re-boot the home page is showing me some household I've never played and where the household income dollar amount should be, it showed a bunch "W"s criss-crossing and overlapping. My entire saved game was wiped and I can't recover the back-up files I have. I reached out for support via chat and Ricco tells me there's no issues that have been submitted by their studio team. Oh yeah? Then why are the forums and X blowing up with people having the exact same issues as me?! I repeat, WHAT THE **bleep** IS GOING ON EA?!?!! I've given you how much money over the last few years? You all should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves! I WANT A REFUND FOR EVERY GAME IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A CONSISTENTLY WORKING PRODUCT!!!!!!!Issue with Opening Cheat Console in The Sims 4 on MacBook
Hi! I’m having trouble opening the cheat console in The Sims 4 on my MacBook. According to the instructions, I should use Command + Shift + C, but instead of the cheat console appearing, it takes a screenshot. I’ve tried alternative key combinations like Fn + Command + Shift + C and Control + Shift + C, but none of them work. I’ve also disabled the macOS shortcuts for screenshots in system preferences and switched the game to windowed mode, but the issue persists. The game is updated to the latest version... Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. My game is stuck on an infinite loading screen as soon as I launch the game. I was able to get to the main menu once (after pressing play I was stuck on another loading screen) but it has been like this for the past week. I have tried removing mods (I use MCCC, WW and Control Any Sim) but this didn't resolve the issue. I have tried repairing my game several times and relocating my save file in order to test on a blank one and the loading screen still persists. I have to force quit the app each time. This happened only a couple of days after I started using Businesses and Hobbies (which I preordered!) and Artist Studio, it's really disappointing. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I've already spoken to MCCC support on Discord but I was directed to EA as they couldn't help me. Thanks in advance!My EA account won’t let me uninstall a game pack
Hi. I need help uninstalling some game packs which are the Holiday Celebration Pack and Blooming Rooms Kit. I already did the steps of logging into my account, clicking on Sims 4, pressing manage game, and Manage add-ons. Once I get to the Manage add-ons screen there is no button to uninstall a packs it just says that they’re all installed. I repaired my game by creating a new The Sims folder and copying the tray, save, and mod folders back in. However, many expansion pack worlds and their items are missing when I try to play. I doubled checked and they are showing on my mac so I'm not sure why the game isn't showing them as being installed. I've looked back on old threads but can't seem to find the answer.Sims 4 won't update
I have not been able to play my Sims 4 game for over 3 months because every time I turn on EA app, it begins to update and will not update past 8%, after about 30 mins... the EA closes and starts the process all over again, and we still get no where. I have uninstalled the EA app several times and reinstalled it on my MAC, doesn't help, does the same exact thing. I have tried reaching out to an agent but can not reach one through EA help or chat. I even troubleshooted with going to App Recovery and clearing CACHE, still no change. Game requires an update but will still only update to 8%. This game was very expensive and so were the expansion packages I've purchased, I should be able to update and play when I want. Has anyone else had this issue, know how to fix it, or know could help me?Sims4 Freezing on Macbook after Jan 2025 Update
My Macbook, MacOS Monterey 12.7.6, keeps freezing every time I try to play. My EA/Origin app is working fine and all the loading screens go through so I can get to my save. However, after 2-5 seconds of play, the game completely freezes up and all I can do is "Force Quit". I have no mods or custom content. I do use cheats, like motherlode, moveobjects, ignoregameplay, etc., but that's all. I do own many game packs purchased and downloaded directly through the EA app. I have also tried repairing the game in the app, but this does nothing. Can't find a solid fix for this, if anyone has any ideas. I have seen some other people having similar problems since the update, but can't find a solution. Wondering if it's something about the update that EA needs to fix? I don't know, but I just want to play my game lol. All ideas welcome! Edit: I am able to create a new save and play that just fine, but when I try to go back to my original save, it just freezes. I don't want to lose all the progress of my old save, but I'm not sure what to do. Edit 2: I was able to play my new save for awhile, but now the game just crashes every time I open it. Hello! I logged into the EA app tonight to play the Sims 4 when I noticed there were 2 new kits available for purchase. I looked into them and liked them so I purchased them. When I went to download them I got the following error message: "You don't have access We've paused the download because you don't own this title. You can cancel the download, keep it paused, or visit the Game Hub for more options." I have tried a bunch of different things to solve this issue, all to no avail: cleared the cache for my EA App restarted my computer double checked that the purchase went through successfully cancel download & try again (have done this 5-10 times tbh) opened the store in-game hoping I'd be able to download from there or that opening & closing the game would reset something to allow me to download cleared a bunch of space on my computer & tried downloading again in case space had been the issue I'm SO incredibly frustrated at this point. I genuinely just wanted to contact a support agent or something at this point so someone could fix this for me but I can't even find an option to message with anyone but the AI robot. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
