Idea about the Pack Selection that was just implemented.
I don't know if this is the right forum to add some suggestions. I know that the Pack Selection that EA just release has simmers still not happy about it. Here's an example of one of the comments that someone wrote on one of the Creator's YouTube channel. That is they don't play with the Vampire Pack, but they do use the BuildBuy stuff from there. My suggestion would be to not just include the Packs in the Pack Selection, but BuildBuy, CAS, World, and Gameplay. Now I am going to use the example that I just mentioned, where if someone doesn't want to play the vampire pack, but they want the BuildBuy or CAS stuff (And maybe the World), They can just unclick Vampire Gameplay. I know that the kits don't have these features, but these are for the Expansion and Game packs. And I am looking at one of the Creators testing out the Pack Selection, and there should be a way for us to temporarily disable the packs for one household, say, for one day, and then use them again for the next in the same save file. Besides, someone like me, might not need all the packs for a story idea, but I would like to use those that I disabled in the future for the same save. I hope that I am more clear in this idea or suggestion, and get people to like this or comment on it.13Views0likes0CommentsCreator Kits: Grange Mudroom and Essential Glam - Official Screenshot Thread

Can we get sneaker clutter, all out the box neatly together with rotating option to place them backwards out or sideways so I can make a sneaker collection: Also more clothes clutter with some just male clothes , some just suits, some just jackets (black puffer jackets ) , some just streetwear. Would pay for a kit of just this. Cause atm Im just using the same sneakers in a box so it would be good to have a mix of different ones out the box. Some slides too and heels.14Views1like1CommentHOME CINEMA KIT

Dear Reader, As a dedicated Sim player for over 18 years, I genuinely love and enjoy the game. While I've occasionally been frustrated by some updates (or the lack thereof), nothing has been more disheartening than the inability to transfer purchased packs across platforms. I currently play on PlayStation but have been considering switching to PC/Mac for greater convenience, especially when traveling. However, I was shocked to discover that the significant investment I've made in The Sims 4 content—over $1,400 across expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, and kits—would not carry over to a new platform. This limitation is both frustrating and discouraging for loyal players like myself. What is the point of having an EA account if it doesn't provide the flexibility to access purchased content across platforms? The idea of repurchasing the same DLC content for another $1,400 is unreasonable and alienating to devoted fans. Allowing cross-platform pack transfers would offer more advantages than drawbacks: Player Loyalty and Customer Appreciation: The Sims franchise thrives on its passionate and loyal player base. Allowing cross-platform pack transfers would show that EA values and appreciates its most dedicated players. Increasing Player Engagement: Players are more likely to engage with the game on multiple platforms when their content carries over. This flexibility enhances the player experience, encouraging greater long-term involvement in the game. Consistency with Industry Trends: Cross-platform play and transferable purchases are becoming industry standards. Major gaming companies such as Epic Games, Microsoft, and Ubisoft have embraced this model, making it easier for players to access their content across different devices. EA should follow suit to remain competitive and player-focused. Convenience for Players on the Go: Gaming isn't confined to a single device anymore. Many players, myself included, would love to play The Sims 4 while traveling or on road trips by simply hotspotting a laptop to a phone. Without cross-platform content, this becomes nearly impossible for console players. Protection Against Piracy: The current system inadvertently encourages players to seek unauthorized ways to access their paid content on other platforms. Offering a legitimate solution for transferring packs would reduce the incentive for piracy. Increased DLC Sales: Players who have the flexibility to use their packs across platforms are more likely to continue purchasing new content rather than feeling alienated by platform restrictions. Improved Customer Satisfaction: Happy customers are more likely to recommend the game and remain loyal to the franchise. Allowing pack transfers would address a significant pain point for many players, fostering a more positive relationship with the EA brand. I understand that some might argue I should simply remain on PlayStation, but it's not always practical. Being able to hotspot my laptop during travel and play like so many other players would be a game-changer for me. I appreciate the hard work the team puts into developing new content, and I'm more than willing to continue supporting The Sims series financially. However, I cannot justify paying twice for the same content. Loyal fans deserve a better solution. I sincerely hope EA will consider addressing this issue and providing a solution that benefits the entire player base. Thank you for your time and for listening to this long-time player's concerns. ~ Haley147Views4likes34CommentsEA & Steam are not working together
I had to rebuy some of my expansion packs on Steam. The EA app would not give them to me and the help desk wanted receipts? but who keeps receipts. Anyway, now I can't get Businesses & Hobbies plus some small stuff packs and kits to transfer correctly. If Steam does transfer them, then all my other packs disappear. If I uninstall and reinstall Sims 4, then everything is there, including my Steam packs, except that one. I have already rebought packs. I am willing to rebuy these. Does anyone know how I can?Hear Me Out: World Kits
I, personally, don't like kits. I have gotten the free ones that pop up occasionally and I acknowledge some are fun/niche content but I am not in the population that wants CAS/Build buy bad enough to pay that "premium" price. (Meaning it's more expensive per asset.) HOWEVER, I, personally, would be so stoked to have more worlds. Especially those cool worlds that folks always talk about. The Serengeti or India or Antarctica. Insert cool worlds idea here! I want it. I have thought about how cool it would be to get "World Kits" and what might be feasible: Empty Lots. No builds. Like, 4 or 5 lots per World Kit. The size of Magnolia Promenade. Just Little Guys. Most of the kits have 20-30 assets (plus multiple swatches). This is enough for a few trees, some foliage, a couple terrain paints. This would be for a niche player, but I believe it fulfills the stated purpose of the kits. To give life to ideas that aren't "big enough" for a full pack. ______________________________ Example asset count... I'm using Magnolia Promenade as an example, only because it's the smallest world I have access to. (I think it's the smallest world in the game.) The icon art The map art About 4 terrain paints Maybe 6 types of trees Maybe 5 types of foliage A water swatch About 8 Shells (for set dressing) The actual construction of the virtual space So, a rough total of assets used in Magnolia Promenade's world (ignoring if the assets are reused from the Base Game, which is common): 26 assets, and the construction. That's within the realm of other kits' asset count.67Views4likes5CommentsSims 4 Kit Giveaway: Pick Your Kit (Winners Announced)
