Season 4 frequent frame-time spikes/stutters
Troubleshoot list that I already tried: Disable/Enable PBO Disable/Enable EXPO Reset BIOS Installed new Windows, Drivers, Drives Lowest Settings, Highest Settings, DLSS on/off, 720p-4k Disable/Enable overlays etc... Nothing works, the frame time spike still persisted. This is very severe issue and it's so frustrated that the team didn't flag this. I came back to play Battlefield 6 because season 4 introduced a lot of stuff and I loved and expect from the franchise. What should I do here? I can't keep playing this. The stutter issue has been there since the game launch. and persist till this day. instead of fixing it the team somehow made it worse. please at least acknowledge the issue. But I'm sure it's gonna take months (somehow) before the team fixes the issue. So a goodbye, and see you next year I guess? Hello Everyone, after this update and season 4 , im having some issues on my game. Cpu and Gpu usage randomly increased. Sometimes after returning to the class and flag selection screen and spawning again , performs returns to normal usage ( CPU ~35% ) ( GPU ~60%) . And some moments later after anothers death/spawn performs jumps to CPU ~70% and GPU ~98% without any graphics settings changes. Same PC same MAP same match. Tested on Tsuru Reef and others maps having the same issue after this patch. The FPS dropped a bit, and the latency in ms shoots up significantly—not to mention the temperature of the entire PC. Tried to uninstall graphics driver with DDU, Rollback nvidia drivers , rollback windows updates and some anothers things and not solved yet. It just goes to show that the problem really stems from the game itself following the last update. SPECS : R7 9800x3d / RTX 5070 Ti / 32GB RAM I have attached the images.194Views1like12CommentsPossible performance fix for recent low fps gameplay
I was playing the game with rolled back drivers because of DXGI crashes on REDSEC and after s4 update i started losing around 30-40 fps. After seeing that 610.88 driver update might fix the issue I did a clean install with DDU and new driver file but it didn't change anything. I tweaked the upscaling options a bit and had a huge performance boost. I am using a rtx 5080 and the only thing that mattered that really increased my fps was Upscaling settings. After changing it to dlss performance and using dlss 4.5 model with 2x mfg i started having 240 fps and the numbers changed just a bit even if i used lower or higher graphic settings like terrain quality texture quality etc. But dlss model 4.0 performs worse on my case so depending on your gpu you can use whatever model works best.Severe FPS drops and GPU usage drops since recent updates
Since the recent Battlefield 6 updates I have been experiencing severe FPS drops during multiplayer. The game starts normally, but after a few minutes the FPS suddenly drops dramatically while GPU utilization also drops significantly. The GPU is not fully utilized anymore, resulting in heavy stuttering and making the game almost unplayable. My system: - Ryzen 9 7950X3D - RTX 4090 - 64 GB DDR5-6400 - Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD - Windows 11 25H2 - NVIDIA Driver 610.74 - Samsung OLED G9 (5120×1440) I have spent many hours troubleshooting: - Updated BIOS to the latest version. - Updated AMD chipset drivers. - Enabled EXPO correctly. - Performed a clean NVIDIA driver installation using DDU. - Verified game files. - Cleared Battlefield cache. - Disabled overlays. - Tested different NVIDIA Control Panel settings. - Benchmarked with 3DMark Time Spy (stable). - Tested The Division 2 (DX12) without any FPS drops or GPU issues. - DLSS is set to quality The issue only occurs in Battlefield 6. Other demanding DX12 games run perfectly. I have also found many posts on Reddit and the EA Forums describing the exact same behaviour after the recent Battlefield updates. Is EA aware of this issue? Can someone from DICE or EA confirm whether this is currently being investigated? Thank you.759Views3likes7CommentsMiddle East server issues
Middle East server is shutting down?? ,, from 3 days me and my friends,, and our Middle East community we playing in another server,, I hope this message reaches the responsible people for this issue,, we tried everything but still putting us in different servers,, thanks7.4KViews55likes425CommentsRequest support for Middle East servers in Battlefield 6.
Hello Battlefield 6 Team, I am a PlayStation 5 player from Saudi Arabia and I would like to raise a concern shared by many players across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. Since the launch of Battlefield 6, many Middle Eastern players have been experiencing consistently high latency, often ranging between 80–110ms, despite using high-speed fiber connections, wired Ethernet setups, gaming routers, and network optimization tools. In many cases, the issue appears to be related to server location and routing rather than players’ local networks. The Battlefield franchise has always had a strong and loyal player base in the Middle East, and many of us are wondering if there are any plans to deploy dedicated Middle East servers or improve regional matchmaking and routing in the future. Could you please provide an official update regarding: The status of Middle East server support. Any plans for dedicated servers in the region. Future improvements to latency and matchmaking for Middle Eastern players. We greatly appreciate the work being done on Battlefield 6 and hope to see better connectivity options for players in our region. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing from the team. Kind regards,461Views9likes7Comments[9950X3D dual-CCD X3D] Javelin prevents core parking — still unresolved
Hi, I wanted to bring this up since it is sill unresolved. EA_Rtas EA_Leeuw System: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (dual-CCD: CCD0 = 3D V-Cache, CCD1 = frequency) - GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 - RAM: 32 GB DDR5-6000 (EXPO) - Board: ASUS ROG STRIX B850-E GAMING WIFI (latest AGESA) - OS: Windows 11 Pro, Balanced power plan, Xbox Game Bar "Remember this is a game" enabled, AMD chipset driver installed, BIOS CPPC/Preferred Cores = Driver The problem: On dual-CCD X3D CPUs, Windows + the AMD 3D V-Cache Optimizer are supposed to park the non-cache CCD (CCD1) for games so the title runs on the V-Cache die (CCD0) for best performance. This works correctly in the BF6 MENU/LOBBY — only CCD0 is active, exactly as intended. As soon as I load into a multiplayer match, CCD1 becomes active and the game runs across BOTH CCDs. Core parking no longer engages. This behavior is tied to the Javelin anti-cheat, which only runs in multiplayer — the single-player campaign parks correctly. The same behavior is reported across other EA titles using Javelin, and across multiple X3D CPUs (7950X3D, 9900X3D, 9950X3D). Why it's still not "solved": - The standard, AMD-recommended setup (chipset driver, CPPC=Driver, Balanced power plan, Game Bar tagging) does NOT fix it in multiplayer — Javelin overrides the scheduler at a low level. - The only "workarounds" are unacceptable for a shipping AAA title: * Third-party affinity tools (e.g. Process Lasso) are ignored/reset AND risk a false-positive anti-cheat ban, so they are not a real option. * Disabling CCD1 in BIOS "works" but cripples the CPU for everything else and causes system instability for some users. * user.cfg thread-count tweaks give inconsistent results and don't reliably keep the game on CCD0. Impact: Measured/community-reported ~5-10% FPS loss in CPU-bound scenes, plus higher CCD1 temperatures and power draw — the opposite of how an X3D chip is designed to behave in games. Request to EA: This is a software/anti-cheat scheduling conflict, not an end-user hardware or config problem. Please work with AMD so Javelin respects the OS/AMD core-parking behavior for dual-CCD X3D CPUs (or provide an officially supported way to pin BF6 to the V-Cache CCD without triggering anti-cheat). A large and growing number of X3D owners are affected. Could we please get an official status update on whether a fix is in progress? Thank you.148Views2likes2CommentsUI Elements Appear to Freeze after Dying
Hello, UI elements freeze after dying before allowing a player to respawn during all game modes. This has happened consistently from, as far as I can remember, Season 2. Internet quality and stability as seen in screen shot.19Views0likes2CommentsMicro-freezes on new map Tsuru Reef - Season 4 - RTX 4070 Ti SUPER OC
Hi, Since the Season 4 update (July 21), I get frequent micro-freezes / mini-rollbacks (less than 1 second, as if the game briefly rewinds my position) only on the new map. All the other maps run perfectly smooth. It happens even on low-ping servers (50-60 ms), so it's not a latency issue on my end. Here is a video clip of the micro-freezes and FPS drops Important detail: I just noticed the bug is directly linked to water. At the start of a round, when I spawn far from the water, everything is smooth, no freezing. It's as soon as I get close to the water that the micro-freezes start appearing. The closer I am to the water, the more it freezes. My setup: - GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER OC 16GB (Gigabyte Aero) - Game Ready driver 610.74 - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D - RAM: 32 GB DDR4 3600 (DOCP enabled) - Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II (stable BIOS 3636) - OS: Windows 11 Pro I also get, more rarely, big freezes lasting around ten seconds, on any map but mostly on Blackwell Fields and Golmud Railway. During the freeze, the image stays frozen and the overlay "sim" value stays normal. It's when the game "resumes" that the sim drops to 0 and everything fast-forwards to catch up to the present time. The CPU and GPU keep running normally the whole time. It looks like a simulation/streaming stall, not a GPU or FPS problem. Here is a clip from the video showing the 10-second freezes I can provide a DxDiag or video clips if needed. Is anyone else seeing this specifically on the new map (the micro-stutters)? Any official word on a fix?350Views5likes9Comments
