Stutter and frame drops end of period
On Xbox S exactly 30 seconds before the end of a period the game starts stuttering and frame drops occur. (WOC 3vs3 or 6vs6). This was already the case in NHL26 and I talked to several players online about this issue. Everyone with a Xbos S has these frame drops.. Only at the end of the period. I will not send a video as proof! EA should know this and fix this. My patience as a loyal player has run out. Every year the same bugs no bug fixing EA simply doesn't care
NHL 27 HUT is almost unplayable on PS5 – Extreme input lag and sluggish gameplay
Hello everyone, I'm playing NHL 27 on a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and I have to say that this has been one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I've ever had. The biggest issue is in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT). The gameplay feels incredibly slow, heavy, and unresponsive. My players seem to move in slow motion, and there is a noticeable delay between pressing a button and seeing the actual response. For example, when I switch to a defender and try to accelerate or change direction, it can take up to a full second before the player responds. In a competitive hockey game, this is absolutely unacceptable. By the time my player reacts, my opponent is already gone. Even simple actions like skating, turning, passing, and defending feel delayed. The HUT menus are also noticeably slow and sluggish. I have literally tried everything I could think of: Different TVs, including an LG QNED and OLED C4. Game Mode and various TV settings. Different PS5 video settings, including HDR. Wired and wireless internet connections. Offline matches to eliminate network-related issues. Completely deleting and reinstalling NHL 27. Nothing has made any difference. The most important point is that these problems also occur in offline matches, although HUT feels particularly frustrating. I played NHL 26 on the exact same PS5 and never experienced anything like this. The difference in responsiveness is enormous. I understand that EA may have changed the skating physics and player animations, but there is a huge difference between realistic player movement and controls that feel delayed by almost a second. I've invested a lot of time building my HUT team, but at this point, I'm seriously considering giving up on NHL 27 entirely. It's simply not enjoyable when the controls feel this unresponsive. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues, particularly on the standard PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition? EA, please investigate this. This is not just about internet latency. The gameplay itself feels fundamentally unresponsive, even offline. I really enjoyed NHL 26, and I genuinely want to enjoy NHL 27 too, but in its current state, it's almost impossible for me.Control command logic issue
There appears to be a logic issue with respect to how the game code treats commands issued by the player using his control pad. I will illustrate the issue with one specific instance, but it happens in other situations also. You do not have the puck, and you issue the control pad command for receiving a pass. However, your teammate with the puck was deemed by the game code to have already decided to pass the puck to you. Consequently, a second or two after pressing the button on the control pad, you receive the pass, and then your avatar player immediately makes a subsequent blind pass. The issue is that with the puck, the same command button commands a pass and without the puck the command button requests a pass to you. The associated issue is that the game code seems to delay the execution of the command until seconds later, and makes an undesired pass. The solution is to not "bank" a command. If a command button press does not immediately invoke the desired play, then that command input should be cancelled, not retained in memory and executed seconds later when the play is no longer called for.Constant game crashes World of Chel
For about 2 weeks now I haven't been able to finish a World of Chel game. I either get a full game crash (CE-108255-1) or "lost connection from EA servers". I've done literally everything on my end. I got a new router. Switched to wired connection. I've cleared every cache. Reset everything. I even factory reset my PS5 and yet this still persists. I just want to play puck. Please help. I'm out of anything I can do on my end
New York Rangers goal horn missing in HUT
New York Rangers goal horn not playing in HUT mode (PS5) when playing as home team in Madison Square Garden and using NYR logo, jerseys and stadium. Also I have set team location to default, team commentary name to default, and goal horn to default. After a goal it plays a random goal horn and then the correct NYR goal song. The correct goal horn worked fine with these settings at least in NHL 25 and 26, hopefully it can be fixed for NHL 27 too.Ping Spikes in Online Play
Hey y’all, I was wondering if anyone else is having crazy ping spikes in the game this year or not. I’ve been playing since 24 and this is the first year where I’ve had my ping go from 20 to 1500 for multiple seconds. Basically the game freezes for half a second then it’s fine for 5 seconds then freezes again. This is the only game I have the problem in and my WiFi gets speeds excess of 600 mbps download speeds on my PS5. Ethernet doesn’t change anything. I’ve reduced my maximum ping to 30 in the matchmaker to see if that helps, but to no avail. My ISP came by to check the router and modem and confirmed there is no issue with them. If this helps - I live in Central California and my ISP is Spectrum.
HUT - Play with friends mode LAGS
Hi, About week or two me and my friend we are having about 0,5s lags every few seconds during the game no matter if I host or he hosts. This happening only in HUT/play with friend mode, when i play HUT online modes like classic HUT, Champs. or Wild Card there is NOT A PROBLEM. As far as i know this mode is P2P and we are both on optical internet and same ISP in same city and never had this issues before. Did you guys made any changes which causes this? Hi NHL Development Team, I would like to report a possible audio bug or missing presentation feature in NHL 27. In NHL 26, teams had unique goal celebration sound effects. For example, Winnipeg Jets had their iconic fighter jet flyover sound, while Florida Panthers had their distinctive panther growl. In NHL 27, these team-specific sounds appear to be missing. After scoring a goal, I can hear the goal song and the arena announcer, but the unique team-specific celebration sound effects from NHL 26 are no longer audible. I have noticed this while playing with Winnipeg Jets and would appreciate confirmation on whether these effects were intentionally removed or are currently affected by an audio/presentation bug. Could you please investigate and consider restoring these authentic team-specific celebration sounds in a future patch? These small details add a lot to the atmosphere and authenticity of NHL games, especially when playing as your favourite NHL team.
