Error code 0x8000001
This is a crash report I've seen multiple times when launching APEX on PC Steam. Already tried: Update the driver (the current driver is the latest version); Verify the integrity of game files and reinstall the game; Launch the game cleanly; Check and update the win11 system. The error report, system information and created dmp file have been uploaded as attachments.86Views0likes3CommentsApex Black Screen then Crashes on Start-up
I've been seeing this message for months now (Leading to me not being able to play Apex at all for that time), but I'd like to get back to playing it with my friends. Whenever I open Apex, I see this error, it only ever happens during launch. I'm sure some people are going to think I have cheats or something, but I don't. I am an Automation Engineer for work and I work remote, so it's possible I may have installed something for work that is triggering AntiCheat to freak out, but if someone can help me track the cause of this issue (e.g: log files, magic spells, etc.) I would be infinitely grateful. Integrity error 0x8000002 Update: I found someone else who had this issue and resolved it by removing Daemon Tools Lite: Apex Badware Detected | EA Forums - 11924504 I've done that now (Which seems to have resolved the error showing up, thank heavens) but now the game just won't open, it freezes on a black screen then crashes If anyone could help me with this, I'd love you forever (Will update if I find the solution) Update: I managed to get through to live chat support, who 'attempted' to walk me through some troubleshooting steps to no avail. They said they'd report my feedback to the team and to wait to see if someone will respond to my post on the forums. Long story short, issue is still here, EA consists 100% of people who say "Go look at the forums" and know nothing further than that. If anyone knows how I can fix this issue, please let me know, until then, I'm gonna go play a game that's not managed by monkeysLosing points for no reason
I got kicked out of a ranked game (D4) I was positive 30th and I load back in, right away, don’t get into the game and I lose 162 points. I was in a very safe spot, I know my team did not die. Why couldn’t I load back in? Why did I lose almost 200 points for nothing?20Views0likes1CommentCrashing then Unable to Connect
Hi, I'm on PS5 and I can play fine for an hour or so, then my game will constantly freeze / crash and when I try to connect back in it will tell me it's unable to connect and to go to ea.com/unable-to-connect for more help. Nothing there helps. My account is not banned/suspended, my internet is fine (ISP is Virgin Media UK), my account is not a child account it's my own account, as is my playstation account. I have checked for an update, repaired the game, cleared my PS5s cache, rebuilt my PS5s database and it is still not working. In the past I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it works for a couple hours then I run into the same issue again. This happens every single time I play the game, it'll be fine for a few hours and then it'll just not work. Any help please?Stuck on entry “Prodigy” spinner screen (EA App)
Hi all, I’ve been completely unable to launch Apex Legends through the EA App - I get stuck indefinitely on the spinner screen under the "Prodigy" title card. This issue has been ongoing, and I’ve gone through every single recommended fix I could find, including EA App logs analysis. I generally use Steam to play, but for this issue I have been trying the EA app to cut out potential variables. I have already tried: reinstalled both Apex and the EA app fully cleared EA desktop, origin, and Electronic Arts cache folders Cleared all EA related entries in Windows Credential Manager Disabled firewall and antivirus completely to test Tried running EA app as administrator Tried another EA account I have (same result) Created a new windows user account and tested from there Tried launching mobile hotspot to rule out IP issues Ran EA app in logging mode and had chatgpt review logs o logs showed a silent failure during token/authentication session = no crash, no error, just a login loop GPTs analysis is: "At this point, it’s clearly a backend authentication or session failure that isn’t producing any visible error - most likely a stuck token, corrupted server-side session, or a rejected handshake that’s not triggering any on-screen feedback." Can someone from EA Support or a community expert please assist? I'm happy to provide logs or EA App session data if needed. Thank you in advance - I’ve exhausted all client-side and network-side fixes, and I’d really like to get back into the game.43Views0likes0CommentsInfinite black screen loading into menu
I played a ranked game and got frozen/booted before I even got to the character selection… had to quit the app from there and now I can’t even get back into the game at all. At the main menu after I press A I get a 5 minute black screen that is followed by a code:net. WiFi is fine, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, hard reset, cache clear, and even used an alternate acct to see if it was anything user related. This has been happening since last week and I can’t play a singular game. Every other game with MP works as normal so again this is most definitely not my wifi or hardware. What is the issue? Can’t join
Me and my husband have been playing since apex came out. Since last season we can no longer play together. One of us will connect and the other won’t. Gets sent right back to the main menu. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, contacted our internet provider and it’s not the internet. Anyone else with this issue ?Apex Badware Detected
