Successful Rotational Gameplay without MODS
I started a rotational gameplay save prior to Lovestruck. I used mods to help set up relationships between the neighbors and managing some aspects of the game like aging, pregnancies, skill etc to help create backstories. I do not use mods anymore as I do not have the patience nor the motivation to keep up with updates as lots of mods end up not being properly managed and get abandoned by their creators too often. I noticed when Lovestruck released my families and their relationships took a huge hit when I was not actively playing them. I would play one family for about 4-5 sim days then move on to the next. When I would load the marriages always ended up in divorce or I was constantly having to rebuild their relationships because the decay was rapidly decreasing. Even with the use of UI cheats it was still a daunting task. I eventually shelved the save and haven't touched it since. Now that I no longer use mods I am wondering if anything has improved with tuning relationships so they aren't deteriorating at a rapid pace, are they more manageable now with any updates? Are there tips to going back into rotational play to prevent relationship decay or should I abandon the save entirely and give up playing rotationally? I am cleaning out my saves I have stored and I am checking to see if anything has changed.
Sims walking like they're cold and slipping on floor
Yes I have a roof, yes I have thermostats, yes it's set to the right temperature, no I do not have the clumsy trait, please help me figure out why my sims are walking around like they're cold and slipping on nonexistent water puddles INSIDE the house. I've read it might be a glitch/bug?
Cooking keeps canceling
After the latest update (Legacy & Royalty) my sims keep canceling what they are cooking. I do use a couple of mods but even without them I have the issue. When I try to get them to resume cooking the only option on the cuttingboard is to "Clean up"... Seems like only one dish is affected. Sim is maxed out in cooking skill but it does not help. No NAPs are active. I use MCCC, WW and UI Cheats extender. All are updated after L&R update.
Whoohoo partners get romance dissatisfaction?
This has to do with the lovestruck romance satisfaction and whoohoo partners. I can't find anything about this so I don't know if this is a bug or a design thing or what, but I have a sim who is whoohoo partners with an NPC (zero romance, friendship and whoohoo only), but the NPC keeps getting "very dissatisfied" romantically, which then causes MY sim to get a fear of loneliness, which is hard to resolve (even harder than usual lol) since they aren't romantic partners. Is this how it's supposed to work, or should I consider this a bug? Any insight would be appreciated.
Stylist home quest : Go to museum
Hello, In the Stylist career, Sims can choose to go to the workplace, work from home, or take a day off. My Sim is currently level 7 in this career, and one of the work from home tasks is “Go to Museum.” However, after spending several in game hours at a museum, the task doesn't complete. Hovering over the task doesn't provide any additional information or instructions about what action is required. I am not using any mods, and this is the only work from home task that does not seem to function properly. Is this a known issue, or am I missing a specific action that needs to be performed at the museum?
Problem with radios & lights
This is my house. Upper circle: Radio A Center circle: two lights/candles Lower circle: Radio B One problem is when the sims sit at the dining table next to radio B they mostly use Radio A. Also the highlighted lights are on depending on where the sims are sitting. When they are at the dining table, the right light of the two is on. When they sit on the couch next to radio A, the left light of the two is on. The other lights on the walls are on properly when sims are only in that room. Yes, despite the grey lines not being connected properly, those are all seperate rooms. Not one wall piece missing. There are half walls, columns and doors. Totally normal. I cant make sense of it. This is pretty unique in my game. Im currently considering removing radio A because it looks buggy for sims to use a radio thats technically in the next room.
