My Sims Won't Do Anything
Hi, I have been having this issue for quite a while now, maybe a little bit after Adventure Awaits came out to put it to date. I cannot get my sims to do ANYTHING in game. I reset them completely through debug - they still just stand there. I let time pass on its own -- they still stand and do nothing with the task in queue. It would be one thing if they refused to do what I say alone, but my sims have ZERO autonomy on top of that, making playing the game completely impossible. It happens with older save files and with households fresh out of CAS. I have done everything that has been suggested so far. I removed my mods, I reset my cache, I deleted all the flies off of my sims saved and made a new game file, yet the problem persists. This is especially irritating as I look on these forums and see that this isn't just a me problem, and we continue to get these large game-breaking updates with no solutions to fix whatever it is EA is breaking. UI Not Working (No Mods!)
My entire game is messed up since the update . I’ve removed all mods, repaired through EA app, deleted the mods folder, and localthumbcache file. What I CAN’T do: none of the UI features are working and opening (e.g. gallery, options menu, simology panel, camera, calendar etc.) Cannot open the cheat box with control+shift+C cannot shift+click on sims i cannot see the selected sim’s picture of the bottom left corner and actions queue, it’s disappeared teen-adults sims cannot interact with a other sims when selected, the pie menu won’t appear I can click on build mode and move existing objects on the lot but the UI for build mode won’t appear (catalogue and tools). I cannot go back to live mode once I’m in build mode. I have to force a shut down through task manager. i can’t use manage worlds, it freezes when i try. What I CAN do: Pie menu appears when clicking on selected sim toddler and child sims can interact with sims of all ages, pie menu appears and interactions are successful, this only works if child or toddler sim is selected the phone is the only Ui feature that will open pause, play and fast forward buttons still work sims of all ages can interact with objects I’ve opened and closed the game many times. Sometimes a feature that wasn’t working will work then the next time I open it. Something that disappeared will reappear after restarting the game. What works and doesn’t work isn’t consistent.
Dynasty Unity Crisis after Head Steps Down to Make Heir Dynasty Head
This issue is pretty much what it says on the tin. I had my original dynasty head step down to make her heir the dynasty head. Then, the dynasty was plunged into a unity crisis. There are no negative moodlets or sentiments between any of the dynasty members. The dynasty is at max prestige level. Is this expected behaviour, or a bug? Should I log it as a bug?
Can't get Wolfsbane in Base Game without cheats?
Hey everyone! I noticed a super annoying issue with the Gardening Collection. Ever since the patch back in 2022, Wolfsbane was added to the Base Game collection tracker. The problem is, if you only own the Base Game, there is absolutely no legitimate way to get it. I’ve tried opening countless seed packets and spent hours fishing, but it never drops. Right now, the only way to actually complete the collection is by using the debug cheat (bb.showhiddenobjects) or by buying the Vampires/Werewolves packs, which makes no sense since it's listed under the Base Game. Is anyone else running into this? It feels like the devs forgot to actually add the plant to the Base Game loot tables when they updated the collection tracker. Hopefully, this can get fixed because it's pretty frustrating for completionist players who don't own those occult packs!
