FC 26 CAREER MODE PLAYER PLAYER TRANSFER REQUESTS [BUG]
There is an big issue with players requesting for transfers when unhappy. There are no clubs who actually make any bids no matter how long they try to leave the club. You can’t even renew their contracts or do anything with them. Please fix this issue with the next patch update because it ruins the player experience.
[Bug] Unable to Renew Contracts with Any Player in Career Mode
Hello, I would like to report a critical bug I encountered in EA FC 26 Career Mode (Manager). Issue: I am unable to renew the contract of any player in my club, no matter how many times I try. Details: The issue occurs both when starting a brand-new career and when continuing into later seasons (e.g., 5th year). After some time, players end up leaving the club for very low transfer fees, even if I don’t accept it. This completely breaks the career experience. I recorded a video as an example and attached it here. Platform: PlayStation 5 Game Version: Launch version (the game was just released today) Expected Behavior: I should be able to renew contracts with players in my squad and keep them unless I decide otherwise. Actual Behavior: The game does not allow me to renew contracts at all with any player in the squad, and after some time, players leave for cheap transfer fees without my approval. It’s very clear that this hasn’t been properly tested. Even if this is presented as a “new feature,” it makes no sense that all 32 players in the squad would refuse to renew their contracts. That’s completely unrealistic and ruins the career mode experience. This issue makes Career Mode frustrating. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise buying early access feels pointless. Problems with the artificial intelligence in FC 26 Career mode I wanted to understand what they did with the machine's intelligence in FC 26 Career mode. The AI's behavior is really bad: Doesn't attack, doesn't shoot, and doesn't cross. Holds the ball too much, even when it should advance. Doesn't do one-two passes or collective plays. On defense, holds the ball in the back in an absurd way. If I press, closing the passes, they lose the ball easily and a goal is scored. I have the aggression on 100 and they haven’t made a single foul. I've already tried all possible settings: Authentic Gameplay, Competitive Gameplay, Ultimate and Legendary difficulties. The result is still really bad: the game is extremely easy, without a challenge, and the matches end in routs. Sadly, you can't enjoy Career mode like this. EA please fix it. Hello, I have been playing the manager career mode, FC 26 on my PS5 and I am really enjoying it aside from the fact that I played through an entire season with 26 of my games ending in 0-0 ties. Most of the other games in the season only ended 1-0. If I quick sim this seems to give more realistic scores but I don’t have the option to substitute the players I want. I really enjoy the sim match feature. Please look into this, I really want to continue my season without seeing a 0-0 tie every match. In the manager career mode that I started 7 days ago on PlayStation 5, I see a 'no action available' notification in the offers made to the players and I cannot respond to transfer offers. Depending on this situation, transfer requests are automatically rejected after a few days in the game. This issue started three days ago, early in my second season. It's definitely not related to the club's financial situation or the players' contracts. I've tried checking for updates, creating a new save, and continuing the game, but nothing seems to work. At the same time, my scouts started to be unable to find players. Even though their player search filters were set to "all". These appear to be bugs in the game at this stage. Can you help me with this issue?The Morale System in Career Mode is broken
The morale system in Career Mode is simply broken, it does not work; every player regardless of Squad Role requests to leave if you don't play them 95% of the time; I genuinely can't rotate my squad because I instantly get bombarded with messages consisting of unhappy players threatening to leave. How can I do an RTG if I can't rotate or experiment with my squad? How am I supposed to manage a huge squad if 90% of my players want to leave all the time? How can I build my dream team in this broken system? The worst part is, most of the players who have left/requested to leave are players that play EVERY WEEK, but the moment you rest them, drop them for the odd cup game or against relegation fodder they start complaining, followed by a transfer request. I forgot to mention that NOTIFICATIONS are STILL NOT SHOWING UP, having to check my messages every 10 seconds ruins the career mode experience, the notification for player messages should pop up on my screen but it doesn't. The constant messages sent by players on Career Mode this year is genuinely overbearing and tedious, it ruins the experience, it's genuinely gamebreaking and it wasn't like this prior to FC 26, fix the morale system, fix squad roles and fix contracts. FC 26 Career Mode - not loading saves
I go through the terrible new UI for entering manager career mode, and I navigate carefully to the load save option (instead of it just being like last year on the front page which was way easier to use might I add). Then I go to the save I want to use, and I get stuck on a blank screen where I cannot select anything or exit or anything, I have to close the game down. Please fix this as it is atrocious and completely unacceptable.Injuries hardly occur
I have turned the sliders up to 99 injury frequency and 90 injury severity. There are only 2 injuries that pop up during the season (not frequently) Broken toe (3 months) Bruised shoulder (5 days) This isn’t new. This was in 24 and 25 as well. Before you start a season you are able to choose if you want certain players to have an injury at the start of the season. When you have a look at what injuries are actually available, there are at least 50- 60 different injures. That’s great to have them within the data base so WHY don’t players get more variation of injuries. Give me some random knocks in training, or pulled hammy, or sprained ankle, or something else. I don’t even care at this point but I’m sick of only getting 2 injuries every season. It makes it pointless to rotate the squad or look for depth in transfer market.FC26 Career Mode - Sharpness Bug?
Hello everyone, I'm currently playing the start of my second season and have an issue with player sharpness - it won't go higher than 80! No matter what training plan is selected, while I can achieve 100% fitness, I cannot achieve higher than 80% sharpness. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is it a bug from the latest patch? My team won the EPL and FA Cup, so I'm wondering if this is actually a game mechanic (of the team being over confident and/or complacent).FC26 - Still can’t approach to sign players on pre-contract in January! 😡😡
This was a bug in FC25, gets to January. You scout players whose contracts are due to expire. You wait until January, then you go to them players to see if you can approach to sign them. And you don’t get given the option to do this. It’s really frustrating!? This was exactly the same in FC25 too. Does anyone else have this issue too? I just don’t get how the amount of times this was raised in FC25, EA still haven't sorted it. Just seems to be the norm now. Let’s see if this takeover by these Saudi’s sorts it out.
