Women’s Career Mode – UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification is static
Hello, I would like to report a major design issue in Women’s Manager Career Mode in EA Sports FC 26. In the women’s career mode, the UEFA Women’s Champions League uses the same clubs every season, regardless of league results or final standings. This means that: Finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the league has no impact on European qualification Clubs that perform poorly still qualify every year Long-term progression and realism are severely affected In men’s career mode, European competitions are dynamically calculated based on league positions. Unfortunately, this logic does not exist in women’s career mode, which creates a clear inconsistency between the two experiences. This is not a minor issue: It removes immersion It reduces motivation to play multiple seasons It makes domestic leagues feel disconnected from European competition Expected behavior: Qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League should be based on league standings, just like in men’s career mode. Even a simplified qualification system would be preferable to a fully static competition. I hope this feedback can be shared with the development team, as improving women’s career mode is essential for long-term player engagement. Thank you for your time.17Views4likes3CommentsAbility to edit Generic Faces and Youth Academy players' appearance
Hi everyone, I believe most Career Mode players share the same frustration: finding a great player to sign, only to realize their generic face looks nothing like them in real life. The same happens with Youth Academy players. They often have outdated hairstyles and, as the seasons go by, they keep that same "baby face" even when they are 25 or 30 years old. It completely breaks the immersion of a long-term save. My suggestion is simple: EA should add an option in the "Edit Player" menu to allow us to customize the actual facial features (presets) and aging details for players with generic faces and those from the Youth Academy. This would be a game-changer for realism and would allow us to make our homegrown stars feel unique as they grow.2Views0likes0CommentsCareer Mode
Could we add some free agent managers into the game, maybe a seperate league for free agent managers to choose from with the managers who have been sacked that season or all the ones ea currently has starheads for, would make career mode more fun to be able to take over a club with a real world manager. Even just being able to use the national team managers but use them at a club instead would be good as they are in the edit manager section but can’t be used. Also the job security thing is ridiculous not just for user managers but also cpu, mainly because the objectives are ridiculously unrealistic, seems whatever team you are at they require you to win whatever comps they are in or get to the final even if you are a poor team.3Views0likes0CommentsManager Career Needs Attention
Deeply disappointed at the selection of Icons for Season Pass 4 for manager career. Bought the first 3 season passes but I will skip this one because there are too few well known Icons this time. BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR SINGLE PLAYERS!! THANKS EA FOR REMINDING THAT SINGLE PLAYERS DON'T MATTER 😔 Rooney was in the Season Pass 3 but was never added to select and nor they care how many times I asked them to fix it. Torres also was removed but same response. I wrongly thought that they would add big names for manager career in Season Pass 4 because it's Christmas and holidays but apparently they only care about $$ coming from UT which I don't play :( If I add Icons from club transfers option they get removed instantly after logging out of the manager career. I bought this years game largely because of the promise of using them in career mode but right now I am deeply disappointed and might skip FC next if single player modes don't get well deserved attention. At least UT guys are having a good time and I am honestly happy for them at least someone is getting some attention from EA and I wish single player also get some attention.22Views1like1Comment[CMS Story] AFC AJAX Ambitious Again!
It's time for a new Career Mode Story. As per tradition, mine is with my favourite team, my home town club: AFC Ajax from Amsterdam. In real life, Ajax was starting to fall apart at the organizational level, which is why the team are about to be taken over by the late clubicon Johan Cruijff's son (Jordi Cruijff is to become Director in Fabruary 2026), which most likely will see a change of culture at the club. At Ajax, the penduline always swings between so-called Cruijffistas (the football purists and idealists) and the Louistas (who follow a more militaristic, organizational and disciplinary approach like Louis van Gaal). Only a few can remain neutral and please both camps at the same time: Frank de Boer and Ronald Koeman are good examples of that. So, in this fictional reality we are trying to justify the decisions made by the leadership at the club and prevent this takeover ever from happening..., with yours truly as head coach. At the start of this story, Daniel Marzec (me, but with my mother's surname) is a 43 year old half-Dutch, half-Polish football coach. I am an Ajax-adept through and through and 4-3-3 attacking wing play is almost like a religion to me. How did it come to this? In 2023, the new technical director Sven Mislintat (successor to Marc Overmars who achieved big successes together with manager Erik ten Hag) splashed too much cash for a dozen players that were not worthy of the level that Ajax aspired: the Amsterdam club nosedived into a huge sportive and organizational crisis. Head coach, leadership and Mislintat disappeard before the end of that year. Money ran dry, only a fifth place in the league, so no Champions League. Ajax were bankrupt with no money getting back into the bank. The generation of the successful 1990's took over as interim-leadership in late 2023: Michael van Praag (Ajax chairman 1989-2003), Louis van Gaal (Ajax head coach 1991-1997, technical director 2003-2004) and Danny Blind (Ajax player 1986-1999, Ajax youth coach 2000-2003, Ajax head youth development 2004-2005, Ajax head coach 2005-2006, Ajax technical director (2008-2012) and Ajax Board member (2018-2021; 2023- ) had to put Ajax back on track for the next 2024-2025 season. A new leadership was picked (CEO, Technical Diector, Director of Football and Head of Scouting and Youth Development), heavily leaning on advice of Louis van Gaal and Danny Blind. That new leadership in turn chose Olympique Nice-coach Francesco Farioli as Ajax-coach for the 2024/25-season. The appointment of Farioli appeared to be a success, so much so that after one season he was signed by FC Porto. Though fans and pundits criticized his choice for a very conservative playing style, as well as opting for older, experienced players without a typical Ajax profile (Pasveer, Rugani, Henderson, Berghuis, Weghorst) instead of younger, home-grown players as per the tradition at Ajax. In short, things went wrong (again) when the leadership opted for John Heitinga last summer. As a consequence Heitinga, Kroes, De Lang and three board members including Danny Blind have already departed the once again sinking ship of Ajax. Once Jordi Cruijff gets installed in February 2026, it is expected that Louis van Gaal and his protegé Marijn Beuker will also disappear at Ajax. That's why, in this fictional universe, we rewind the clock back to last summer and instead of John Heitinga they've chosen me as the new head coach of Ajax. The objective is to qualify for UEFA Champions League (top 3 Eredivisie) and to have a decent run, both in the Dutch Cup as well as in Europe (in both instances the objective are the quarter finals).30Views1like5CommentsFullbacks / Wingbacks Do Not Respect Offensive Instructions in EAFC 26
Please fix the fullbacks issue... They stay back even when attacking high up the pitch... This has been an issue since the start and you can only play 3 at a back and that's boring after a while. It's completely shocking that not everyone has noticed this and care...7Views0likes0Comments
