Map Selection instead of Rotation
I love the idea of all the maps being available. However, the rotation system is just not reasonable. Players do not want to wait an hour to play the map that they enjoy. We should be able to simply select our map, and the 60-90 minute timers is kind of ridiculous. Players don't have time to adjust to the map they're playing, and it's like your first game of the day all over again. We can pick duos or trios. Why can't we choose our map? This just isn't what the community was asking for and it's not efficient. You're going to get lots of complaints about this, please, please fix it soon. Instead of players just getting excited when their favorite comes around, they're literally logging off the game until it arrives again. This is not a timing game that people are going to play for long, and soon players will stop playing the game entirely. I'm already to the point where I almost don't want to play apex anymore.
Training Mode Improvements (Suggestions)
Hi there! Absolutely loving the game, so here is my 2 cents on the training mode as i currently still use csgo training maps too warm up but the recoil and spray patterns are different so i would prefer to use this one hehe. - The training mode is a great idea however i would LOVE to be able to skip the first part and go straight to the gun range - Being able to select which legend i use in the training mode whether it be selecting them before entering the mode or have a legend selector in the training mode. - Different kinds of training modes such as "Movement training (Agility course?) Weapons training (Gun range and grenade indicator range) Awareness training (Bots shoot from afar and you need to spot where they come from) - Being able to play against some bots in a small area, even 1 bot that moves faster and has the same hit boxes as the legends so you can practice your shooting more accurately on similar targets. - Being able to create and share your own training maps (Kinda like a steam workshop thing) These are just off the top of my head but again only suggestions that hopefully a good idea may sprout from :3
Olympus is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
Sorry to say, but I've played since release. There's been a lot of bad moments and content droughts in Apex before and that's okay. There's been time's when I've wanted to Quit before I now own every Octane skin ever and heirloom, because I enjoyed the game for a long time, even the bad times (sometimes) Now I was super-hyped for Season 7, and then... First few match grew into a lot, because of "FIRST BLOOD" every match Then days went by, and it got better. Here's the problem: -No Loot -WAY TOO OPEN Area's -Bad building Designs -Bugs Too easy to move around part of the map, while the other take's too long -3rd Parties more often -Unbalanced High verses Low ground Just overall bad Map design, Jump-pads can't get to some area's, and it's to open to backup or push. I've never died so much and often in just barely a week of playing Trident's need a different design than being on the ground, I believe they should be more for flight. (Don't Fall off the map so much or bump into things) Plus no need for Octane or Path < Trident Honestly; just start Season 7 back over, or something. Go back to Season 6 and will player's work on doing the Season 7 battle pass. Remove Olympus and just start over. It's the Worst map and Season so far. I can't believe I was so hyped. To get garbage. This actually might be the best idea too, just remove Olympus for now and bring it back in a week or two after you fixed everything Respawn. This still allows Season 8 to be released before Feb. 4th And everything kind of stays on schedule.
Just bring kings canyon back permanently.
I know you guys at Respawn like forcing players to make use of new features but honestly, most people couldn’t care less about World’s Edge. Just bring Kings Canyon back. It was a million times better. I’m not asking for World’s Edge to get removed (obviously), but just give us a choose function. Just because you made a new map doesn’t mean you have to force us to play it for the rest of this game’s life. I know it’s coming back in ranked 3 part 2, but that’s not enough.Worlds Edge sucks, please replace it with KC
Please remove Worlds Edge and get KC back. KC is awesome, Olympus is a good map and Worlds edge is just completely horrible. Its feels bad to play in and it looks ugly and does not capture the gameplay that makes apex fun nor does it feel like the apex theme in terms of how it looks. for gameplay the best map is KC then Olympus and worlds edge is not even on the chart, thats how much worse it is. For theme and look of the maps Olympus is best, KC second and Worlds Edge is not even on the chart again. That map is atrocious in every way and I wont queue up as long as that map is active. This is just one casual players opinion on the maps. I just want it to exist somewhere so at least I'm doing my part to give feedback. While I'm at it, the reason I think KC is better for gameplay than Olympus is that I always felt like I had more options in an engagement on KC. Dont know how true this really is but it feels like areas on Olympus seem to be kind of peak shaped, and KC has more valley shaped areas. This makes engagements feel much more balanced. On Olympus it feels like attacking is always very much uphill. KC often had engagements where each team is on either side of no mans land and you have movement abilities, ziplines, airstrikes to help get you across if you wanna get closer. Not really feeling like that on Olympus.
