EA Play membership not being honoured
I have an EA Play membership, courtesy of XBox PC Game Pass. There are no problems with that service, I have played other games connected through that service with no issue. Battlefield 2042 however is giving me issues. When I load up EA App on PC, it does not recognise my active membership. I am treated as if I do not have a membership when trying to play Battlefield 2042. It says "trial expired, 0hrs remaining". Elsewhere in the same EA App though, it does show "current membership" in the table of differences between EA Play & EA Play Pro, indicating it knows I do have a membership. Also, my online account at ea.com shows my membership has been active since 2021. All 4 of these cases I've sought help on the same issue & gotten nowhere, just ended up wasting my time and being let down by how poor the EA customer support experience is. The two support staff who provided the most help were Ajit & Robin. Robin was the closest to getting my issue fixed, it seemed like they'd actually discovered what the cause was-- but were unable to do anything about it. Can someone with authority please please look into this issue & resolve whatever back-end problem is leaving BF2042 on my account in a state of limbo?
Some maps are partial or not available in portal - conquest custom
Some maps are partial or not available in portal - conquest custom. Can you please make it so that we can make our custom conquest with all maps and all sizes of those maps. Now we can only make custom conquests with some maps and only small and medium. The BMP-2 and M3A3 Bradley are not available in portal conquest custom. Please update portal to have all the maps and all the vehicles
[FIXED] Battlefield 6 Save & Settings Issue — Windows Security Blocking Solved!
If your Battlefield 6 keeps resetting settings or won’t save progress, it could be Windows Security silently blocking the game’s files. What happened: Windows Security didn’t show any pop-ups until I launched the game. Loading the campaign triggered the alert, and that’s when I realized it was blocking access to save and config files — the game literally couldn’t touch its own files. How I fixed it: 1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. 2. Look for any blocked Battlefield 6 files and click Allow on device. 3. To stop it from happening again, go to Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions. 4. Add your Battlefield 6 install folder as an exclusion (for example: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6). After doing this, all game settings and save files worked perfectly. No more resets — it was just Windows Security silently blocking access. **Note:** Search your PC and make sure the following files exist and are not being blocked: * `PROFSAVE` * `PROSAVE_profile` * `steam_autocloud.vdf` These files are usually located in: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings If any of these files are missing, Battlefield 6 may not be able to save or load your progress correctly. These files are required for Battlefield 6 to properly save your settings and progress. Also verify that **Windows Virus & Threat Protection** (especially **Real-time protection**) isn’t blocking or quarantining them — this can silently prevent the game from writing or updating your save data. ***Steps to Add Full Control for Battlefield 6 Settings Folder*** (This has also helped some users to resolve issue with save file) Navigate to the folder: Open File Explorer and go to: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6 (or wherever your Battlefield 6 folder is located) Open Properties: Right-click the Battlefield 6 folder → select Properties. Open Security Settings: Click the Security tab at the top. Edit Permissions: Click Edit… to change permissions. Select Your User: In the list under “Group or user names,” select your Windows user account. If your user isn’t listed, click Add…, type your username, and click Check Names → OK. Grant Full Control: Under “Permissions for [YourUser],” check Full control → click Apply → OK. Propagate Permissions: When prompted, choose Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files → click OK. Close Properties: Click OK to close all dialogs.

Why did they cancel the basic edition when the game came out I couldn’t buy it on Xbox. I had to buy the 100 dollar version with a bunch of **bleep** I didn’t want. Just release the basic version so I can play the **bleep** game what the hell. I’m pissed I’ve been waiting to play this game and supporting it. But 100 dollars is ridiculous for a game in 2025 especially when there are so many good free to plays. Really disappointed with ea for this.
BF2042 & BF4 license missing
Good evening, I was setting up my OBS for the morning and went in to load BF2042. However, when I attempted to load in I was greeted with a message stating that I did not have the license for the product. This also occurred on my BF4, when i looked at my EA app both games were missing from my Library. However they are on my Desktop and all of their corresponding files are where they are supposed to be. The only thing that shows up in my Library is BF6 and the last know update for any of my BF games outside of the recent download for BF6 was for BF2042 on September 9th. Can anyone please point me in the direction of where, how, or who can fix/address this situation for me
64 & 128 playlists removed - compiled into one playlist. Why?
Putting this under the bug and technical forum because the choice is so baffling it may as well be a bug. In OCE (Australia and New Zealand), the 64-player Conquest and Rush playlists were the only playlists in which you could consistently get quick matches. No one plays 128, and for good reason. 128-player is worse overall in terms of game flow, balance, and connection - it is widely known, even by DICE themselves, that the 128 matches have worse overall hit registration than 64. DICE also admitted that 128-player was a mistake! Surprise, surprise, it's gone in BF6. Why are you forcing 128-player matches now? Why would you force players to bounce between 64 and 128-player matches? You're now telling me that in OCE we're going to go from a full 64-player match to a potentially half-full game in the next map? We all know you don't understand your playerbase, particularly for this game - but this is a change that you shouldn't have made, even for the last few days of this game. This completely screws over a region like OCE for the next 4 days. Change it back, flick whatever switch it is, and just leave it until the game goes. What an unnecessary and not asked for change.
BATTLEFIELD 2042 CONQUEST 128 PLAYLIST
Battlefield 2042 for PC as of 2025-10-07 you removed the simple Conquest 128 Playlist. Bring it back please. Also, by default, we do not want bots entering our squads, that was also a change that also happened on this date. In fact it would be better if you just removed bots entirely. Battlefield 6 launch will go smoothly and I'll pick it up when it's on sale. Regardless of that there's no reason to ruin your previous game. I bought 2042 for 128, I want to play 2042 for 128. It's fun and interesting large scale tactical gameplay you can only really find somewhere else like in arma, (or in 64 player modes of previous titles I suppose) but unprecedented players. This isn't hype slop like battlebit or w/e that roblox spinoff game was called. The breakthrough community couldn't fight to keep BT 128, not my problem (Breakthrough and Rush are slop anyway). Fix conquest. Unlike the streamers you kneel to, I actually top scoreboards when I play, with mouse and no vehicles to so how about it EA? Thanks in advance. P.S. whenever you see dat boy who bought you out, point at him and laugh or snicker. So weird that he owns you all now but not surprising.
