Critical Cross-Progression Issue: Total loss of progress upon Steam migration
Hello EA Support Team, I am experiencing a critical issue with the Cross-Progression system in Apex Legends. I recently linked my Steam account to my EA account, but upon launching the game via Steam, my profile appears as level 1. I have lost all my historical progress, stats, cosmetics, and heirlooms. (I used to be level 98 and had money on the account). Both accounts are correctly linked, as evidenced by the attached screenshot. It appears the system mistakenly generated a brand-new profile instead of fetching the existing data from my Remisito account. I have been trying to complete the South America objectives and I am very sure that the Canarinho objectives aren't tracking properly. I have been doing first touch assists but it does not register. My whole squad is Brazilian now in the off-chance EA phrased the Objective wrong and requires a first touch assist from a Brazilian player. Yesterday, I noticed the game registered 2 first touch assist and this happened after putting 10 Brazilian players in my squad but that number didn't change after even though I was doing the same thing and providing the first touch assists... I recorded a replay of one of my first touch assists today. I'm on the Xbox Series. I hope someone can confirm/ fix this. Thanks! I'm 15750 theme team surge XP away from the 99 card and the objective screen won't load. It's just the green theme surge background and nothing else. I have no way of knowing at this point how to achieve the rest of The needed XP to get the 99 card I've already completed the all theme team surge events and solo challenges. This sucks I want my 99. WELL OVER A WEEK SINCE THIS POST NOW AND NOTHINGS CHANGED STILL!! STILL NO TIM CAHILL FROM THE TINY TIM OBJECTIVE. SEEMS LIKE EA ARE DECIDING TO IGNORE THE FACT THAT THE GAME IS BROKEN!! FC27 WILL BE OUT BEFORE THIS GETS SORTED!! JOKE. SORT IT OUT EA!! A new morning a still no fix from EA. How are people supposed to finish the objectives if you don’t give them their rewards. Surely with over 12 hours to fix the issue it could’ve been done by at least giving everyone their Tim Cahill card just to finish off the Asia and Oceania challenge. I completed all of the max holloway hall of legends challenges, and it says I have completed them. It has given me the skins for his Korean zombie and the Dustin fight however it hasn’t given me the fight island one despite me completing the 3 challenges. I think it is because I accidentally pressed restart so it thinks I’ve not done them even though the boxes are all ticked and it clearly shows that I have done them. I tried doing the challenges again but that didn’t work. Is there anything I or you can do to help with this?Launching issue: Device offline and license folder empty.
I purchased FC 26 on Steam and have never been able to launch it - I get a "your device is currently offline" error every single time, even though I'm logged into my EA account and my internet connection is working fine (confirmed via browser, other apps, etc). What I've already tried, none of which fixed it: - Fully restarted the EA App (exited via system tray, not just closed) - Ran both EA App and FC26 as Administrator - Verified/repaired game files via Steam - Flushed DNS and reset Winsock, then restarted PC - Allowed EA App and FC26 through Windows Firewall (Private + Public) - Temporarily disabled antivirus to test - No VPN/proxy in use - Fully reinstalled the EA App (uninstalled via Windows Add/Remove Programs, fresh download, reinstalled) - Confirmed the game shows as owned in my Steam purchase history Additional finding: I checked C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services and the license folder there is completely empty. So i authorized money through my steam wallet while inside the game, it gave me two times error but it took the money anyway, now they don't care to help us with their mistakes in their own game telling me is steam fault but at least steam has an actual help support not AI agents that tells you different story for the same subject and steam has receipts that prove EA took the money. Thank you for not caring EA.
