cas not opening since new update
whenever i try to get into cas it is just stuck at the loading screen, i saw someone else say it was happening to them and they removed the multiple columns mods and it worked after, i removed the mod, repaired the game and retared it multiple times and its still not working and just on the loading screen, is there anything else i can do to try to fix it?15KViews157likes140Comments
Cas stuck on loading screen.
Since the new update and me downloading Lovestruck everytime I try to go into cas it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to restart my PC each time, I have went through my mods folder deleting cc and mods to try and figure out what's affecting it, I need some help with what mod may be crashing it. I deleted more colums mod, Height sliders, mc command center, UI cheats, all my eyelashes, Tool mod, Better build buy, and any traits that could mess it up. anything that may interfere, but it just won't open cas no matter what I do, am I missing anything?10KViews91likes70Comments
CAS Not Loading After Update
I just updated my game and when I went into my current household and went to CAS so I could see the new base game updates it wouldn't load. It was stuck on the plumbob loading screen no matter what I tried. I repaired the game which I've never had to do after an update and I updated the mods I had that could be updated so far. Game keeps crashing. CAS also freezes game.
Ever since the last update, my game just closes unexpectedly since August 10th. Before that, the game would freeze if I had a sim that wasn't originally part of the family go into CAS. If CAS did work, it would change any other sims name to the main sims name.195Views15likes3Comments

CAS won't load after 7-23-24 Update
I'm seeing that everyone is having similar problems with cas not opening, loading, or working period. Most people are saying it's the more columns mod, but I don't have that I only have Fairies vs Witches and MCCC (I haven't downloaded the updated version but I already saw someone say it didn't fix their game). I forced a shut down for my Mac last night and I tried opening cas again just a few minutes ago and it's still on the loading screen, after I restart my Mac I'll try repairing the game.1.9KViews13likes9Comments
White Screen in CAS
Everytime I go into CAS, I’m met with a white screen that I can’t close out of unless I shut down my PC. This hasn’t affected any other aspect of my game, so I have reason to believe it’s because of the new update. I have removed all of my mods, adjusted the resolution, updated my mods, repaired the game, updated my PC, overall done almost everything I can think of to fix this, but nothing has worked.2.3KViews11likes15Comments
7/23/24 Lovestruck Update Stops Loading Worlds
I attempted gameplay after the 7/23/24 Lovestruck update and the game worked fine until I tried to travel to another world. Once I try to travel to a new world, the goes to load screen, then exits the load screen when the game crashes and says it "failed to load" with an error code (see attached screenshot). Today (7/24/24) I was able to travel and load my four characters into Sulani and everything seemed to be working okay until I tried to have everyone travel again to Britechester when the game crashed again and I got the failed to load/error code. Now I can't get back to those characters but they're somehow stranded in Darby's Den? I have CC from Felixandre, Syboulette, and Harrie installed but these mods loaded and worked fine with the initial gameplay I started after the Lovestruck update, until I tried to travel to Britechester and resume gameplay in Willow Creek. Then the game won't load the new world. However, the update DID fix the other issue I was having where almost every world lot was "unavailable" for no explicable reason. I'm leaving for a trip in about a week for roughly three weeks, and I'm really hoping all these issues are resolved by the time I come back home.496Views11likes10Comments
