Sims not going to work

As the title says, my Sims won't go to work. I've clicked on them to go, clicked on the button in work tab and even reset my sim to see if it would work. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue... 

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

• Delete the ones you have
• Trigger the error again
• Check if new ones are created
• If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
  
  Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting. 

It happened to me, no mods and on ps5. At first they would eventually go to work but it would be a pain as if I didn't watch them leave I'd later find they didn't go or found something else to do like watch tv but this gradually progressed to them not going at all no matter how many times I pressed go to work and then it starts to say they are missing work so I have to change it to on vacation.. so frustrating. 

I've actually been having this problem for a while ... at least since the Lovestruck patch.  My sim would go to the door to go to school or work and then glitch for a second.  Then they would go off and do something else.  Telling them to go to work or school via the careers panel would do nothing.  The only thing that works is to save the game, completely exit out of the game and restart.  Once the game is restarted, they either go to work or school on their own or the career panel button works.

Since this has been happening a while, I did notice a couple of things. It only occurs if the sim is on the 2nd floor when it's time to work so I make sure my sims are on the first floor when it is time to go to work or school.  I notice that this glitch occurs either at the bottom of the stairs or at the front gate.  I tried resetting and changing out the gate, changing stair cases, making staircase shorter etc.  Nothing works.  Mind you, it doesn't happen all the time.  Every once in a while or several times in a row and then it returns to normal.  Tried this in modded and unmodded games.

I'm having the same issue. Sims not automatically going to work, school or after school activities. I have to click "go to work" and even then, sometimes they still won't go. They lose performance as well, it's very frustrating. I don't use mods or cc.

I am currently avoiding playing the game since the update due to the amount of issues many people are having. If it's still an issue when I eventually return to the game, I will let you know. Thank you

I've been having this problem for a bit. Not consistently but every once in a while.

This issue also occurs on Xbox series X , thus far the only workaround I have found is using a dresser to plan an outfit  but this is an unreliable workaround. And teenagers also struggle to go to school
