We saw the notification, my son asked why are they deleting him like he never was, Shouldn’t they honour him in fc 26 rather than delete him? it’s for his family, but do they play fc 26 and will I get deleted too? Dear EA Sports Development Team, As a dedicated member of the FC community, I am submitting this proposal to evolve Manager Career Mode. My goal is to move the game beyond menus and into a truly immersive "Managerial career" simulation. 1. Pre-Match & Media Immersion On-Screen Commentators: Transition from voice-overs to showing the commentary team in a pre-match studio or pitch-side talk. Narrative Continuity: The game should recognize milestones. If a player scored a hat-trick in the previous game, the pre-match cinematic should feature specific highlights of those goals, with the commentators analyzing their current form. 2. Cinematics & Personal Interactions Assistant Manager Consultations: Introduce random "walk-and-talk" scenes (e.g., in the training ground hallway). If you aren't starting a player who is above the team’s average rating, your assistant should question you. You must choose between "Yes, I'll play him" or "No, he's not good enough," directly impacting morale and player trust. The "Office Confrontation": Low-morale players should physically enter your office to demand higher contracts or express a desire to leave for a "dream club." Player Ultimatums: If demands aren't met, cinematics should show the player warning you they may underperform. This would result in a tangible -1 or -2 attribute penalty until the issue is resolved or they are sold. 3. Enhanced Squad Celebration Logic When a player scores a goal, you don't see 3 other players coming to celebrate with them you see 5 or more. Especially for career mode you should do that and if you are going to have the World Cup and when we play the final it would be extremely unrealistic to see the subs not celebrating with you and 3 or even two players joining to celebrate. 4. Contextual Signature Variants (Example: Jude Bellingham) Also, for like Bellingham celebration for realism make him have two other types of like if he scores and could run behind the goal, then as the celebration they run behind the goal hug a teammate the do his celebration. And the other version is that he does it with a teammate. He is his last-minute goal suggestion, he scores past the 85-minute and he runs and gets stopped by the subs and after they all celebrate at the end he and another teammate do it together, facing the fans. 5. Managerial Narrative & Post-Match Defiance In career mode let's say your manager had been facing criticism and then your team win away, against a big team. After the referee blows the whistle he should do what Jose Mourinho did but obviously, he shouldn't do the face, then after that, a player from the other team, goes to you and tells you to stop doing it. 6. Staff Integration & Goal Cinematics Also when your team scores while they are celebrating it should cut to the manager showing him celebrating with the staff. 7. Final Match Atmosphere & Last-Minute Intensity In the finals of a game when you score to go maximum 3 goals ahead your team should celebrate with the subs, but the difference to scoring in the last minute is that the opposition falls on the floor the camera shakes and you could show your goalkeeper running and celebrating and the manager can be celebrating crazily with his staff. 8. Social Media & Disciplinary System The "Intervene" Mechanic: After a match, you can use a social media system to react to the result. On a scale from "Light" to "Risky," you can choose to blame the referee or the league. The "Risky" Path: If you choose risky you can get a game rescheduled. However, you can also be suspended. This is delivered via a cinematic where you receive a physical letter by delivery while sitting in your office, resulting in a touchline ban. The "Light" Path: Choosing light means being happy with the ref or someone meaning a better relationship and more favorable calls. 9. Manager Invitational This is a friendly planned by you where you make your own custom team of players (allowing you to try out specific players by putting them in the team). You choose a manager to face, and because the setting is casual, you gain a good relationship with that manager. This increases the chance of him requesting to become your assistant manager in the future. If a rival manager has a low relationship with you, they are dimmed out in the UI to show they are unavailable for an invitation. 10. "Create a Club" - The Owner Experience Owner Status: You are the Owner, not just the coach. You choose the manager and manage the finances. Sponsorship & Precision Design: Start with a $50M Sponsorship Budget. Use a "snap-to-grid" system for sponsor placement where you can resize and move logos with precision detail. Modular Stadium Builder: Implement a modular stadium builder similar to Dream League Soccer. This would allow players to design and expand specific stands in their own style rather than being restricted to a single preset, allowing the stadium to grow visually as the club's revenue and status increase. I believe these features would revolutionize the Manager Career experience, making it the most immersive sports RPG on the market. Hey EA team, I really think you should bring VOLTA back. In FC 24, it was honestly perfect — complete, stylish, and full of fun. Then in FC 25, you changed it to “3v3” and removed goalkeepers. We accepted that and moved on, even though it was a big downgrade. But now, in FC 26, VOLTA is gone completely — and there’s really no logical reason for that. It doesn’t hurt anyone to keep it in the game. Those who enjoy it will play it, and those who don’t can simply ignore it. You wouldn’t lose anything by keeping it, but you’d make a lot of players very happy. Please reconsider bringing VOLTA back. Hes such a legend when it comes to making the atmosphere and the overall feeling of a match get hyped up, the way he speaks and says words just makes it so much more better I am begging please get him on for FC27 or even for the current game espcially for us career mode players as he will just make scoring a goal, making a comeback and just anything feel that much more exciting and much more emersive. For this one i might talk for a great majority of this community as well. As the title says, this is the shortest and the most real feedback EA should consider for this franchise: Dear EA, "Quit!" Just abandon the franchise. It's pointless to develop a product and not be able to maintain it properly year after year. And it's obvious to all of us that you can't handle a product that you have designed and deployed it. Just admit your limitations and move on, focusing on other franchises. Everyone would be happier. I have been playing this game for about 20 hours and I could not solve the optimization problem or the gameplay settings. Also, it does not give any fun while playing and the game is very boring compared to the previous games. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Chemistry and Positions EA needs to drop the realism gimmick. This is a game, not a simulation. It makes no sense that a professional RW cant play LW because of position locks. Top athletes can adapt - maybe less effective, but still functional! The old chemistry drop (10 to 7) made far more sense when playing someone out of position. Let us manage our own club. It should be our tactical choice - not a system restriction. Bring back managerial freedom! Menus and Game Modes Neglect Every year we are told menus are revamped, yet they are never finished. Once sales targets are met, support stops. We were promised stadium customization back in 2021. Four years later, we still cant search or filter stadiums, kits, or badges, or the option to search for long sleeve kit. Moments mode was meant to be a fast, fun alternative to Squad Battles. It hasnt been updated for months. Formations and Tactical Imbalance Formation behavior has hit rock bottom. Old, balanced systems are now unplayable because of Roles and neglected tactical tuning. 4-3-2-1 needs a narrow variant with a CDM and inside forwards (LF/RF). 4-2-3-1 and 4-2-2-2 play like a 4-2-4. CAMs push too high. 4-4-2 (standard): CMs move higher than LM/RM, even with balanced instructions. Wide players ignore all defensive duties. Inside forwards, wingers, and wide midfielders do not respond to any defensive role. CMs: Defensive midfielder, yet the description says offers themselves in attacking phase. Wasn't he a defensive midfielder? 4-4-2 (2) CDM: Far too wide wingers, wide CDMs, wide strikers and unsynchronized. Huge gaps between lines, no compactness. Gameplay / Rewards Finishing is horrible. Power shots, driven shots, finesse - all unreliable unless tied to a PlayStyle+, which still is barely good enough. Competitive balance is gone; Division 1 players can lose to Division 10 opponents in chaotic, random matches because of the lack of tactical variation, lack of skill gap, and lack of attacking mechanics. Rewards/Red Picks were never the issue – the content inside them was. Bring them back with better rewards and Evo integration. Skill Expression and Reward Players who have mastered advanced mechanics – cancels, directional exits, ball rolls, McGeady cancels – aren’t rewarded anymore. The game rewards straight-line running and low-effort play over creativity or precision. Draft and Motivation Draft is the same as FIFA 19 – outdated interface, broken chemistry, repetitive teams. There’s no excitement left. Nobody pays 80 dollars to scroll menus and look at 45 different store packs. What EA Needs To Do: Add new and updated formations, including modern systems used by top managers. Rework and update all other formations. Manually fix formation width, attacking and defensive AI, and player positioning across all setups. Or give us the option ASAP until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Reduce the distance between the striker and the rest of the team – attacks constantly break apart. Fix 4-4-1-1, where CAM and ST push too far forward with no support. CMs should act as deep-lying playmakers who defend, not statues, and wingers must actively attack and defend until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Fix 4-2-3-1 so half-wingers actually track back, and Playmaker + Build Up creates a CAM that defends realistically like the come-back-on-defence mechanic until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. In 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1, CMs should behave closer to CDMs, not acting like shadow strikers leaving all defensive duties until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Wingers in 4-4-2, 4-4-1-1 etc. must be able to track back, not stand still watching the defence suffer until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Buff finishing outside the box. Give all wingers the opportunity to play on both wings until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Bring back Red Picks. Fix Moments. Fix transfer market filters (stadiums, kits). Fix 4-2-3-1 CAMs and 4-2-2-2 half-wingers so they defend and stay compact. Fix CM behavior in 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1 so they don’t stand still waiting to crash the box until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Allow wide midfielders and wingers to defend. Provide more Role+ and Role++ options for wide midfielders. Allow wingers to play in central formations (4-3-2-1 / 4-2-3-1 / 4-2-2-2) until you bring back the Legacy system from FUT 23. Add a Defend and Support instruction for LM, RM, RW, LW, and CAM. Add a Stay Central option for CAM and ST. All these solutions would be half-decent until you bring back the legacy system. The game hasn’t been half-decent since the switch from FIFA to FC IQ. IQ is the biggest lie of them all. The tactical system peaked in 23, where we had 33 chem but could still play players out of position, like RW Jairzinho lining up at LW. Does EA even realise how insanely hard it is to build a good team now? No red picks, no icon picks, no icon swaps, barely any player picks. I haven’t packed anything useful since FIFA 23. Example of why, EA should allow us to field our best XI: Pretty sure, i had nothing else than bronzes left in the club, after grinding, Cruyff, Jairzinho, Kaka, Alonso, Zidane, Cafu, Ramos all were SBC! Everything is untradeable, so after months of grinding you sit with great players you can’t even fit. Imagine packing Jairzinho or Zidane and wanting them in 4222 or 4231 – what then? Zidane at CDM? Kaká out wide in 4411? It’s not a free game. We grind every week, coin balance sits at 10–20k, and we still get punished. And then I'm expected to bench Kaká or Jairzinho because the game won’t let me use my own players where I want? Just let us place our best cards anywhere like before. Stop forcing restrictions. A new game...same price if not more - Less features. Back since 2006 I have been asking EA, letters, emails and even phone calls to one of their head offices to bring Co-op Manager mode to the game, not only is their a big gap in the market for such a feature, there are also a lot of gamers whom still play CM 01/02 with updated DB's to be able to play seasons with their friends and manage transfers. Around 2012, I realised that EA does not listen to their fans, customers - you know the people that actually provide your income, so I gave up. Each year the same game gets released with new (broken/refreshed) features with a few cosmetic changes here and there but still the same churned game. Now we have EA FC26....Looks great but in 2026 we are still having manager or player interviews miming from multiple choice options. We still have generic manager designs back from FIFA 15 and glitches with Kick Off Data not linking, replay cameras now just showing the centre circle and more (Which I have posted in Bugs). Just when they finally fix issues, like in EAFC 25, its around this time the new game comes out and you a basically paying for an updated Database and a few tweaks for £70+. Yesterday I only just noticed that EA have quietly removed Volta and 3v3 for more shrinkflation. Same game, same price if not more, less features. What I don't understand, with the game engine that EA use for this series, why is their not more cinematics? More tense moments? In the end, you are playing on a pitch back and forth without much drama for the beautiful game. I also gave the idea to have a studio half time analysis talk with our favourite pundits, doesn't have to be great yet, but better than just a menu to restart the match. Again, why don't they bring back The Journey, you could make it semi-open world, travelling from home, to training pitches, stadium or events - It had so much potential, it was predictable but curveballs could be added. Add scandals, or decisions that would impact your career as a player. Currently the game is, menu, first half, menu, second half, menu, repeat. Really thought things would be different once the game changed from FIFA to EA FC, but it's exactly the same. Just like a very well known shooter game out there, if there is no competition, why should they care?
