[GF] Actor: GUI for audition/gig not properly updating
Whenever i send my sim for their audition they go do it but in the work tab it doesn't update or say she passed or failed the audition The only way i can get it completed is then to save and go to manage worlds each time and then come back in to the household All exp packs , all stuff and game packs and some kits Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
sims not opening
being on mac, i used to have origin. since switching to EA, ive downloaded the EA app. i recently bought some packs but noticed they would not show up when opening gameplay. when opening it, id recieve an error code that i thought could be related, and when looking into that, it told me to delete origin since i cant have both on my laptop. after lots of trying to figure it out, i deleted origin. now my game wont open at all. the application bounces in the dock appearing like it'll open, but then the EA app just opens back up and no sims. ive talked to 3 EA support workers on live chat, tried everything they told me as well as some methods on this forum and still nothing. please help.
No graduation ceremony for high school
Don't remember exactly when it started, but most probably right after I installed my new extension packs. My teens no longer get a graduation ceremony. it doesn't appear on the calendar, so they can't go. Since that happens there is no diploma (which btw I can't put into my sim's inventory as it should be normal so my old sims actually left their diplomas in other houses they lived in) and worst than that in my sim's description it says he/she graduated with a normal average (one of my sims was actually a valedictorian so i did not appreciate the slightly above average description at all) plus if there's a trait they should get from graduating with honors or valedictorians it doesn't happen since no graduation=no ceremony=no diploma=no nothing. I don't use mods and the game used to run pretty normal in the beginning. Also repaired my game on numerous occasions. Another bug I noticed when I took my sim to high school. Some of my lockers were nothing but black shadows on the walls. You could use them ofc but they didn't look like lockers anymore. Tried replacing them I was told that the lot did not meet the requirements to be a high school anymore. In the end I put them on the roof since it seemed that was the only way to get them to look like what they're supposed to be.
Sims in Romantic Relationship Keep Getting Out of Bed
My issue recently has been when I put my sims to sleep. They have a long pause, go to sleep, then immediatley they get up even though their needs are fully met. Im not sure why they keep bugging out like that and recently I have been seeing in other websites that I am not the only one having this issue. I keep tasking them to sleep and it keeps repeating. Another issue with sleeping is sometimes I dont task my sims to cuddle when they sleep and they do it on thier own. I dont want my sims to cuddle when I dont task them to because it disrupts both of their sleep but they automatically do it. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
Reaper's Rewards: Wait for Newsletter Task Not Completing
I'll start with I play on PC and I don't use any mods. I started a new character for the event, a single female living in Willow Creek. I was able to do the event through the planting of the flowers and it told me I needed to 'wait for the Ambrosia Society Newsletter'. It either never came or disappeared when I got the mail the next time it arrived. It isn't in my sim's inventory, and it isn't marked off as completed. I looked at some other players' experiences and some said you could 'reorder' it from the mailbox, but that option isn't offered, nor is expediting my mail delivery. I also tried going to another lot and clicking their mailbox, using another sim save I had and seeing if it'd happen there, and starting a whole new game. I also 'repaired' my game. Again, I have no mods to uninstall or remove. And, also interestingly, before this, when I clicked the Grim icon on the upper left, it opened up a quest window with steps, both completed and needed to complete, same as with any other quests (like tutorial ones). Now, all I have is this- Any help, including how to restart the quest line (I would assume rewards that are received wouldn't be repeated) would be very appreciated. hello,ive been trying to play red alert 3 on hp laptop with windows 10 and keep getting the directx 9.0 error message i have put a picture up of the error but tried all the advise i have seen online to try and fix it any ideas or does anyone know what would be a good laptop to get to run red alert 3 on and it will work ??
Game loads for between 1-5 minutes before crashing out
Every time I've opened the app yesterday and today it'll load for anywhere between 1 or 5 minutes before completely crashing. Sometimes I don't even get to load the household before it crashes, just enter the save. This is happening in both new saves and my old ones, I tried repairing my game and it didn't fix it. I'd love to be able to play new content without it being completely broken, thanks EA I've got all the Expansion, Game and Stuff packs and Half the kits
