Split Fiction Crossplay Issue
I am trying to play Split Fiction with a friend. I am on PS5 he is on PC. I bought the game, he has the friends pass. We both are friends on EA and have crossplay enabled. When I send him an invite he doesn't receive it on his end. We have been trying to get this to work for the past 2 hours but it hasnt worked at all and he hasnt been able to join the game. He simply doesnt receive the invite when I send it. Yes we are friends on EA. Yes we have both tried deleting and redownloading. Yes we both have crossplay enabled. Yes both of our systems are capable of running the game. Yes we have tried logging in and out of our EA accounts. Yes We have tried unfriending and re-friending. Yes my friend has tried downloading the friend pass specifically through the EA servers rather than steam. Genuinely shocked at how frustrating this is. Been trying to get it to work for the past 3 hours of my day I just wanna play the game :(5.8KViews8likes13CommentsSplit fiction error code 108-0
I started playing split fiction with my girlfriend and everything was working fine for the first couple times we played. I play on PC through steam and she plays on xbox. She owns the game and I use the friends pass to play with her. suddenly one day when I'm trying to join It just keeps saying "player has left the session, error code 108-0" We've tried absolutely everything to fix this over the past couple months. It's a glitch that hasn't been resolved for months now. It's ridiculous. the ONLY solution I found on the internet was to "unlink and re-link EA account, which isn't even possible for me since I did that recently and you can only do it every 6 months or something. No way to contact live support to get help. Believe me when I say i've tried EVERYTHING. The only thing I can't try is the un linking and re linking ea because I can't. It's RIDICULOUS. Does anyone know of any other fixes or how to even contact some type of support? Seeing as you can only submit a ticket for "certain" topics and the friends pass isn't involved in that so I'm just screwed, me and my gf can never play it again? Actually insane.71Views1like1CommentA Way Out wont launch (Steam)
I purchased A Way Out and have played it on my pc before although recently when trying to play the game I am unable to launch the game as seen in the video. Steam attempts to launch and an ea pop-up shows preparing game and the steam validates the game files and then nothing happens. I have uninstalled the game, the ea app, steam, verified the game files integrity, performed an app recovery on the ea app and through the game files, I have run the system file checker tool, as well as completed a clean boot and I attempted to run just the client and the game. I have also tried running steam and ea as admin and then attempted to run the game with the same results. I have also checked to see if there were other applications limiting this.52Views1like2CommentsSplit Fiction: audio is extremely quiet
the only sound that's audible in this game is the opening advertisement showing the EA/Unreal/etc logos. everything after that is quiet, despite my volume sliders all being at 10. my computer volume is quiet high as well. some other odd things I've noticed: 3D audio is enabled with no way to disable it (no idea what that is), I can't enable streamer mode (not that I'd want to, but in other games I'm free to enable/disable streamer mode as I wish), and the volume dynamic range is set to cinematic with no way to change that either.51Views0likes0CommentsThe game won't launch
I've bought the game from Steam, but when I try to launch the game, it starts to launch and then crashes. I don't have any error messages or something, the game just doesn't launch. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting online and in the help center, but nothing worked. I've added a short video that shows the problem and a crash file I have.60Views0likes0CommentsSplit Fiction: Graphics Error PC Steam
Using a friend's pass. When starting the game it appears to be loading shaders and then it crashes with the following error: LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\HazeAutomation\Main\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Util.cpp] [Line: 926] Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource Things I've tried: Cleared Steam Download Cache Verified File Integrity Updated Nvidia drivers Windows 11 Intel 14900KF RTX 4090 64GB RAM QHD Monitor 2550 x 1440Solved9.3KViews1like11CommentsNo audio Split Fiction
I am not sure what happened but I played the game and heard it just fine. Then all of a sudden I heard no audio. When I played with my boyfriend I had the issue but I somehow fixed it. This time, I am playing with my brother and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong. It's not my pc since I can hear the other games I played but I do not understand how my brother can play with audio and mine does not work.46Views0likes0CommentsA Way Out - Trouble Connecting to Servers
Me and my boyfriend have played It Takes Two on Steam and everything was great. But when trying to play A Way Out, we were required to connect our steam platform to the EA and play the game through there, even though we bought it on Steam. Now, while trying to play it keeps kicking us out saying that the other playing is not responding and the session will close. I don’t know what the issue is but we’re both connected with Ethernet and we have never had issues playing online. By reading the forums I understand we’re not the only ones. What should we do to fix this issue? We really want to play the game.148Views2likes3Comments
