The F1 Career Story [1999-2024]
If you're a fan of the FIFA/EA FC games as much as you like your F1 games, you're probably familiar with the concept of Career Mode Stories. A writer is posting in a website / article format, that put together form a story for others to read, as if you're following someone's fantasy sports career world. Instead of football, I'd also like to give it a try in an F1 format for once. So, I asked myself the question: what if I'd start as young as Max Verstappen (youngest ever rookie) and keep racing in F1 as long as Fernando Alonso (a quarter century, or 25 years). Well, that's not entirely a coincidence, because like Verstappen I was born in September and like Alonso I'm from the year 1981 (hence the for numbers in my username). That means we'll go back to the start of the 1999 season. And that was quite an important season, because in that time Ferrari, McLaren and Williams were virtually tied in terms of constructor's world titles and race wins. Michael Schumacher is only a double world champion at this moment, while Mika Häkkinen is the defending world champion. Other former champions are Damon Hill (entering his final season) and Jacques Villeneuve, who was booted by Williams and decided to step into a brand new team called BAR or British American Racing. So, here we go. Like Max Verstappen, I'm entering the world of Formula 1 as a rookie of 17.5 years. I'm using the F1 2014 game for the first number of seasons, but from 2010 (if we get that far) I'll be using the official Codemasters/EA titles of that year. The races are all 50%. Will I be able to rewrite the history books? Will it all unfold in the 21st century as it has done in real life? Let's Go!95Views2likes17CommentsProposal: Engine Supplier-Focused F1 Management Game Mode
Hello EA / Codemasters team. I am a passionate F1 fan and I have an idea for a unique F1 game concept that could complement the official series. The player acts as an engine supplier, designing and developing motors for F1 teams. Teams approach the player for engine contracts. The player manages motor performance, reliability, and upgrades over seasons. Motor design can be simplified using either experience-based progression after each race or a part-combination system within size and weight limits. AI teams use the motors in races, and race results reflect engine stats. Optionally, the game could start from historical F1 seasons and progress through evolving technology. This concept focuses on the technical and strategic side of F1, offering a fresh perspective without interfering with existing driver-focused gameplay. I would be happy to provide a more detailed design document or prototype if this concept is of interest. Thank you for your time and consideration.36Views0likes0Comments4-Player Co-op: Build & Race Your Dream F1 Team
Add a 4-player co-op team mode to F1 26 where two drivers race on track while a Car Engineer designs every detail of the car – engine, brakes, aero, tires, fuel, and cooling – and a Race Engineer manages strategy, pit stops, and radio feedback. Drivers will feel the impact of your designs and comment on performance, creating legendary cars and real teamwork dynamics. Start with one engineer role and expand to a full 4-player mode later to let friends truly run an F1 team together.53Views0likes0CommentsMake F1 26 More Realistic with Complete Car Damage
Hi EA Sports F1 Team, Please add fully realistic car damage in F1 26. Not just damaged wheels or a broken wing — I want the entire car to distort and be damaged in all areas after crashes. Partial damage feels boring and unrealistic. Full damage would make races more immersive and challenging. Thanks! Hi EA Sports F1 Team, Please add realistic mechanical failures to F1 26, like: Engine overheating Gearbox issues ERS or DRS malfunctions Suspension or hydraulic problems These should depend on car setup, driving style, and race conditions. It would make races more unpredictable, immersive, and exciting — just like real F1. Thanks! [SuperUser Edit] - Removed excessive spacing to make post easier to read.50Views0likes0CommentsF1 26
Hi EA Sports F1 Team and Community, Please add customizable race rules for F1 26 with options like: Ultra Light: Few penalties, soft or no damage for casual fun. Strict: Penalties close to real FIA rules, moderate damage. Realistic: Full FIA penalties, instant warnings for small track cuts, full car damage that can completely destroy the entire car—not just wheels or wings. Also, improve driver faces and expressions for more realism. Add a free play mode where players choose rules, weather, damage, and settings like FC 26. --- Why? Gives players control over their experience. Increases immersion and fairness. Encourages community creativity. --- If you want this, please like and comment! Thanks! Something weird from RaceNet Time Trial comparison, this how it was surely till January (when I got the picture): while this is today: As you can see SYNC/CLEAR buttons are not available anymore (btw "sync" is very nice feature). What is weird is that I can still see them in my phone app. Could please have a look at the PC version and restore the buttons? Thanks in advance, Nuv70Views0likes1CommentF1 25 Not on EA Play Pro?
As you may already know previous iterations of F1 games had always been day 1 for EA Play Pro subscribers however since Split Fiction was not enable for EA Play Pro subscribers it is fathomable to doubt if F1 25 will make it to EA Play Pro subscribers day 1 ? Right now on EA APP, when you browse games, it is not tagged as "EA PLAY PRO" which increases my doubts because most of the time, maybe all the time, not sure about it, whenever a game is posted on store, EA PLAY PRO tag comes along with it if it's going to be released day 1 on Ea Play Pro. Anybody know anything about this ? I think it'll be very disappointing if EA does not provide the game for Pro subscribers day 1. Thoughts and comments please.Solved547Views1like4Comments
