The Sims 2 Legacy doesn't launch.
When I try to launch The Sims 2 Legacy from the EA App, it doesn't launch. A pop-up appears saying Preparando o Jogo, which translates to something like Preparing Game (BR to EN). Then, EA shuts down and nothing happens. I've tried everything. My game was working fine yesterday. I don't use any kind of mods or downloads. That's terrifying. Here's a video of what is happening. Uninstalled the game from the EA App and reinstalled it: still doesn't launch. Uninstalled the game from Windows and reinstalled it using the EA App: it still doesn't launch. So, I'm starting to consider requesting a refund. Here is my DXDiag log in hopes this can help us get the game we happily paid for. I've also tried to repair the game in the EA App, but it doesn't do anything.
Can GUI be adjusted?
Hi as Im playin in a 59" curved monitor I use the 5120x1440 screen resolution which is the current max resolution. Is there any way that I can make all elements bigger? I know there's a txt file for the font size, but how can I change all the UI elements overall to be bigger so I dont have to play like this? Thanks yall <3[GRO] Infant/Toddler wont achieve milestones
While playing today my infant got the sit up milestone. However the game would not progress further. This is my first time having the bug since the update and getting new packs. The infant got the sit up milestone approx. 10 times in the span of 2 in game days. Problem The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots or Error Codes 800/801. The problem usually starts in Willow Creek and then goes on to other lots. There are several symptoms of this issue as outlined in these AHQ threads. Me too count of the archived threads in barckets. Default Lots Showing in Surrounding World (54) [NEEDS SAVES] Houses/Lots disappear/Error 800 or 801 (314) [NEEDS SAVES] Orange/Green Exclamation signs over lots / Houses disappear (246) [FR] Corrupted lot/Houses disappear Map doesn't update changes to lots/ Can't change lot type (7) Lots randomly revert back to defaults (20) Llama pictures on lots (possibly also incomplete installation - repair your game first) Troubleshooting The issue is really hard to pinpoint but there are a few things that can accelerated the issue. This issue is not mod caused but it can be influenced by mods and cheats, especially if you create lots of Residential Rental units in your save game. Save Game Size. The issue usually typically happens on larger save games. There are a few factors that contribute to save game size that you can keep an eye on Lots of huge houses with lots of objects: Try to keep those down. Consider using empty houses for set decoration if you don't play certain lots but want houses to make it look nicer Photos Sims take ingame. Try to only keep the photos you really like and that contribute to your gameplay. Delete everything else. Photos take up a lot of space in the save. Lots of Sims. The game creates Sims at abundance. Delete the ones you don't use from time to time. Usually there's nothing you can do once it starts happening.
Gates with lights do not illuminate
There are somes gates in the game that have lights, but they do not light up or emit light. They are Maiden's Gate, Spanish Inquisition, and the Woodn't You Like To Know. The Cozy Craftsman Gate and Barn Door Double do light up, but they don't seem to cast much light on the surrounding space or other objects? Not sure if this is a bug or an oversight?The Sims 3 Starter Pack
How am I supposed to get my Sims 3 starter pack (Sims 3, High-End Loft Stuff and Late Night) to finish installing correctly? Apparently it’s not just as simple as clicking download and waiting patiently. I only get this installation failed pop up at 96%, which is not really ideal. If it’s any help I have tried all these suggestions with no luck. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.
Error 16
So The Sims 3 is not letting me save the game. It says "An unexpected error has occurred while saving: Error Code 16. Please consult the readme for details." I was told to come here to get help. I don't how to fix the situation. This error occurred at least a week or two ago. Is there a way to fix it?"maxaspect" doesn't work in EA app.
Someone told me that with the new update you can change your resolution by putting in the launch options "-maxaspect:4:3" (just an example ratio because that's what i used) so i tried but when i did, this came up telling me it contained invalid characters? Am i doing something wrong?
Major “Without Saving” Bug
It looks like more code has been broken again: If you have any Sim transition into a new life stage, but then quit without saving, they will revert back to the original life stage they transitioned from, but unlike the Ultimate Collection where this issue does not occur, their 3D data, and appearance are not reverted back to their original appearances, despite not saving the game. here’s an example; A child sim transitions into a teenager, I went back to the neighbourhood without saving. They returned to being a child, but their 3D data and appearance did not get reverted back, so now they have an appearance of being a teenager, but their height and the UI indicates they are a child. This needs fixing as this will break saves! This did not happen in older versions of The Sims 2.
