Skate. Expansion
I think as the go-to of the Skate. Franchise and Skateboarding games, the new skate should include everything from the previous games. It should have all the things like: All Maps from all Games All Merchandise from all Games All Activities from all Games all UI’s from all Games + colors fonts Skate 4 mixed with 1,2,3 etc along with Neon Grafitti etc Safehouse with Collection, Walls, ETC Everything bought and an indoor and outdoor skatepark make Skate. (4) more immersive and open world of the entire Skate Franchise Private Islands, Private Skateparks, etc and build your own skate area or whatever like Skate 3 Bikes, Scooters, Roller-Skates, Boards Crew Update and a decal uploader Customization update, color codes, royal blue, aqua, red, dark red, yellow, etc. along with secondary hair colors. Clothing and skates and board grip tape colors and wheels and parts of the trucks etc. instead of 4x for tricks and stuff make it where it’s as it goes higher all the way up to 20x i think it would be cool to see all the stuff from the previous games including the psychics, glitches, realism, etc. would also be cool to see all the game maps and locations and everything revamped and evolved a bit but without that outdated graphics but in a more polished way. i think the ability for more music like 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, 2010’s would be cool to hear, along with more playlists I think these are all amazing ideas and should be a very good expansion update. Including as the “Skate” is the go to of Skating compared to Riders Republic. everything you got would be best as this games goes into the future for the fun. and mobile controls would be fire too like a joystick flick it system. Nintendo Switch as well and Steam Deck, along with mouse click it controls. (Never really thought of it that way lol)
Skate 3 Server Issues
Hey, so it seems that the servers are up but are having some issues at the moment, here’s what I’ve found and I’d also figure I’d post it here so everyone knows what’s exactly going on: Skate.Reel and Skate.Park are both down. Artsy Fartsy and Constructive Criticism trophies/achievements are both unobtainable at the moment. Importing skaters works but does not retrieve skater’s actual outfits, instead defaulting to the default skater with a white tank top for all friends. If you’re going for the Sellout! Trophy/Achievement, this is currently unobtainable. skate.Profile loads but is broken. Stats and Achievements/Trophies do not display their pages. Main page does not display your skater picture, nor your quote. Attempting to edit your quote will break the page and display nothing, forcing you to back out of the page. You can still view your team invites or join requests. Skate.Feed does not load. I’ve noticed that Online Challenges and Ranked Challenges (Solo) don’t appear to work for me. I don’t know if this is happening to anyone else, but everytime I propose one and someone accepts, only I appear in the lobby, the other player(s) is/are not present. Team Finder works as expected, but you cannot select any team, the page will not load, thus you are not able to send a request to a team or invite someone to your team at the moment. If there’s another way to do so, I’ll update this post. Create Team does not work as the page does not load.
Camera control while on skate
Hi! First of all, I love the new Skate, as long as i have been trying it out i genuinely feel like a kid with a skate board, i love the free exploration and everything. However, one issue I’ve noticed is that while skating, the right stick is entirely dedicated to tricks, leaving no direct control over the camera. This can make it difficult to adjust the view mid-ride or when setting up for a trick. A possible solution would be to introduce an R2 (the triggers in console controls) modifier: When R2 is NOT pressed, the right stick controls the camera. When R2 IS pressed, the right stick switches to trick input mode. This would keep the intuitive flick controls, while letting players dynamically adjust the camera during lines or exploration. It’s a small change that could make the gameplay feel even smoother and more natural. There is currently no scale other than Seasonal Currency for my efforts or my accomplishments at this point and now this morning I learn via the DEV UPDATE that you have decided to scrap even that. So my 33K+ efforts are trash? I provide the following information freely and openly to supply some background perspective… Let’s Talk Achievements; Most of mine began like many of you around 09/16-17/2025 when Early Access was opened up to me via the Xbox Network. I rocked my 5 inch orange nut huggers swim trunks, those crappy black vans slip-on knock offs, and busted white T-shirt and through roughly a month of dedication. I’d worked my way through to endgame when I unlocked ‘Empire Skate and Grind” aka Lvl10 Market Mile. I achieved this milestone on 10/16/2025 when only 0.03% had previously done. Fast Forward 6 months to today; that numbers only 0.82%. In accordance to my Xbox network profile/achievements/skate tab. The other major milestone was via RIP Score right… I was ‘Fully Localized’ 10/24/2025… about 0.03% had done so at this point. Once again as of today Sunday 22Feb2026 the numbers only 0.34%. As of right now today… I’ve got 25 days played. My RIP SCORE is 23k+. And I’m 19/21 Achievements completed. This latest slap in the face is so disappointing yet what’s even more so is the entire teams inability to listen to those of US who ACTUALLY CARE. The SPORT OF SKATEBOARDING isn’t all pre-teens or teenagers playing COD and FORTNITE. I also GET that many of US Dinosaurs need to relax on the more controversial issues; The whole flying/gliding off the top of buildings etc Body Flips, etc I get the whole NEXT LVL concept now. I honestly did not at first as I was truly a purest. If you are… go help Session! I’ve actually spent many many hours trying to land on the Blue Wave Sculpture at the O.R.B. Leaping from ImpervaTec’s Roof Nearby. Only landed it once with what truly felt like an “unseen hand assist”. I’ve suggestions on how this could be better developed but why bother? You guys don’t listen…You don’t feedback… You certainly seem to watch and intervene during gameplay in my direct experience. You want to make the game more challenging. You want to have this sandbox environment. Engage us players more and more. You spoke of different competitive suggestions. I’ve got an idea for you. Let us make our own Lines. Stop forcing me to play some lame **bleep** that even feels bad, Almost immediately gives me anger and frustration. Perhaps start paying attention to what very few of us are actually laying down. If your on the dev team and you never rode a skateboard in real life or even in game. Shame on you. Never watched an XGames or Street League comp? Never spent time looking at the latest footie? Start by removing yourself from the problem and start trying to become part of the solution. Listen to US old heads. This is so much more than a JOB for US. We LIVED THIS. I’ve read the forums. There are a few of us out here…some with pro titles… some only local legends… some just posers who hung out, but One thing was always certain. WE LOVE THE SPORT PERIOD. How can you call yourself a creator if you’ve no idea what you’re creating? If you’ve no understanding of the Culture? Never felt what it was like to flow on a board? So last month, I just realized, "Skate 4 doesn't have a day and night cycle" So I have 3 questions: Do you want a day and night cycle? Because I do. Why doesn't skate 4 have a day and night cycle? And Why do you want a day and night cycle? Ok thanks, bye.Skateboards and other cosmetics
I think they should add other and more differences in both the skateboards and overall clothes of the person. the shirts are few and far inbetween great but I can admit there is a few okay ones and we appreciate the game for that, but we'd love the game if there was more options. Another example is the shoes, there really isn't many actual options that look like classic skater shoes. On the same hand tho there is a few, but we NEED MORE. Another thing I'd really like to be added more of is helmets, my favorite skater is Andy Anderson and he lives by his helmet. As a skater myself I do as well because I care about my head. I know it's a game but I'd like to be able to at least resemble me in real like if I'd so please. With the boards I wish there was more actual skateboards on it or actual brands. I know it's hard to ask because the fact it's brand name but if you can modify them or get rights I'm sure more people would play. I also believe that different cuts of boards would be cool to have too. Maybe unlockables where you have to use the board a certain amount of time, or do a certain amount of challenges with it equipped? I'm not really for sure how'd they do that but I think it's a good start. I'm also not sure all of these or of any will be met but I have high hopes for the different kinds of boards though, as in cruisers and stuff like that.
